The gate to the Seoul Detention Center in November 2025
[…] As you know, the True Parents have lived their entire lives for the providence of Heaven - for the realization of a peaceful world centered on our Heavenly Parent, where all humanity becomes one family. They are truly unique in all of history.
And yet, as you are all painfully aware, despite the tremendous achievements True Mother has made even
at her advanced age, the current situation - in which her efforts are neither properly understood, appreciated, nor reported - is utterly unreasonable. Still, that is the present reality we are facing.
In this situation, every word we speak must be chosen with extreme care, so as not to cause misunderstanding. Especially because True Mother has said that the truth will be revealed in due time, we must be careful that our words or writings do not lead to any false suspicion - such as accusations of “evidence tampering” or “interference”. Because of that, there are severe limits to what we can say or do. I am truly sorry.
Once again, I ask you: until this specific period passes, please continue, as you have so far, with patience, love, and devotion for True Mother. Every word we speak, every letter we write - we must do so with the utmost care so that no misunderstanding or harmful accusation arises.
As the saying goes, “Even when crossing a stone bridge, tap it first.” We must act that carefully.

[…] I met True Mother today. Actually, there was no visitation on Monday [10th Nov.] this week. Because of that, we began receiving updates again from Tuesday. The reason there was no meeting on Monday is that True Mother was temporarily [4th to 7th Nov.] granted a suspension of her detention order, and she went to the hospital.
When that happens - when a suspension of detention is issued - all the previous conditions related to her confinement are nullified. In other words, all prior visitation permissions are automatically canceled, since she is no longer considered to be “in detention”.
That’s why we could not schedule a visit on Monday, but resumed from Tuesday onward.
Sometimes, due to special circumstances or schedules, visitations do not take place as planned - either because of our own unavoidable commitments, or because True Mother has necessary appointments related to her situation. That can mean there are days, from Monday to Friday, when a meeting does not happen.
I want to explain this clearly, so that those of you who wait and hope for updates won’t be disappointed unexpectedly. Mother Han in a wheelchair as she appeared at the detention hearing in September 2025. Today, when the door opened, we entered the room. Illustration: x.ai/grok A few seconds later, True Mother came in, seated in her wheelchair.
As always, her expression was calm and composed. However, compared to before, I noticed that her face has grown thinner - in a positive sense, one might say she looks more slender - and that made me think again about her daily living conditions.
Since the weather has turned cold, I know many of you are worried. Those of you who care for elderly parents know how important it is during wintertime to take precautions - even when it’s unpleasant, you still go for vaccinations.
Usually, one would hope a single vaccination would suffice, but there are several types needed.
It seems that True Mother also received her vaccinations a few days ago.
Depending on the type of vaccination, as you know, sometimes it takes a while for the body to adjust and for the immune system to stabilize - and in that process, some side effects or symptoms can appear.
From a prayer rally in support of Mother Han in front of Seoul Detention Center November 2025
It seems that True Mother was feeling somewhat fatigued for a few days because of that.
When she entered the room, just before we began the meeting, True Mother immediately looked at us, and as we bowed in greeting, I could see her lips moving as if she were saying, “Who came today?”
So Moon Shin-chul replied, telling her the names of those who had come.
He said that today, Director Kim Eun-sang, Director Kim Jin-chul, I myself, and missionaries Cheon Hye-chuk and Seung-ja were present.
Then, Director Kim Eun-sang asked True Mother first about her vaccination:
“Mother, how have you been since your vaccination? It must have been painful, right?”
True Mother replied, “Yes, it hurt a lot.”
Director Kim explained that when the immune system functions naturally, it’s normal to experience mild fever or some muscle pain, but even though it’s a natural reaction, True Mother said it hurt so much that she couldn’t sleep.
So of course, there are different types of medicine that can help with that - like Tylenol, or sometimes, if necessary, something that helps one fall asleep more easily.
When asked about that, True Mother said that she normally doesn’t take such medication often, but this time she asked for something to help her sleep because the pain was so strong.
Despite her discomfort, she still greeted us warmly, with a bright and gentle smile. We were so deeply grateful for that.
Then True Mother again emphasized that the truth must be revealed.
After that, Director Kim Jin-chul reported about some of the things that True Mother might need - items that can be permitted according to the procedural rules.
Normally, as you know, food or daily necessities cannot be sent from outside. That is the rule. […] So, as it stands, we cannot officially deliver various items to True Mother from outside, due to the established regulations. Inside, however, there is a small shop that sells certain goods depending on the season and situation. She must purchase and use things from there.
Regarding her prescribed medications - vitamins, supplements, or any necessary medicines - these are carefully reviewed and approved through the proper procedures before being provided to her.
So we explained that all the permissible items had been prepared in accordance with those rules.
True Mother said, “You did well to take care of that in advance,” and praised us.
Then, as you may have already heard, True Mother was told that religious leaders around the world have been expressing great love and respect for her. […]
After hearing this, True Mother spoke about the value of religion and peace, and noted that all of these efforts are deeply connected with the providential work that True Parents have carried out - all the struggles and achievements they have made over the years.
She said that it would be good for these things to be spoken about publicly and reported in the media.
Moon Shin-chul explained that press conferences and interviews are already being arranged to that effect.
True Mother said,
“Yes, that’s what must be done. The truth must be revealed. Christianity and all religions around the world must become harmonized as one.”
True Mother said,
“All religions must work together so that a peaceful world - one human family of peace - can come. That is the responsibility of all people of faith.”
Hearing that, I was once again deeply moved. Even in such Moon Shin-chul, October 2025 difficult circumstances, True Mother is always thinking about the in Gapyeong, South Korea will of our Heavenly Parent and the dream of the Heavenly Parent - constantly devoting herself to how the world should move forward and what responsibilities the world’s religious leaders must now take on.
Today, as always, she reminded us that even while she is in a challenging environment, her heart and thoughts are completely aligned with Heaven.
Now, as you know, there is a separate system for attorney meetings. That is permitted, since there are preparations for the legal proceedings. During one of those attorney visits, apparently one of the religious leaders from another faith had written a poem dedicated to True Mother, and it was read to her.
True Mother said this about it:
“Today, a poem about me was read aloud - it was very moving. The person who wrote it has never met me, but expressed me as the ‘Mother of Peace’ through tears. The poem was beautiful. I want you to know about it. Even though the writer has never seen me, perhaps he has heard of me. The poem was written with tears, crying out that this age needs a Mother of Peace.” […]
Then, near the end of our time, True Mother said,
“For the world to become one, people of faith must first become one.”
She again emphasized that the unity of religious people is the key to realizing our Heavenly Parent’s dream - the ideal world of one human family centered on Heavenly Parent - the dream that True Parents have devoted their entire lives to building. […]
Afterward, Director Kim Eun-sang said,
“Mother actually looked more peaceful than I expected. Even though she’s been through much, she seemed calm. It’s good that she received her vaccinations - hopefully she can keep her condition stable through the winter.”
[…] Thank you.

The goal, prosecutors contend, was to secure the election of a candidate loyal to presidential candidate Yoon. In summary, Chosun /Ibo observes that consolidating these interconnected cases under a single court d iv ision reflects a comprehensive j udicial approach to the widening investigation - by many regarded as a widening crackdown on political opponents. The move underscores how South Korean authorities are addressing one of the most complex and politically sensitive intersections of faith, party politics, and alleged electoral manipulation in recent history.
