Ye Jin [Moon] is Blessed to Jin Whi Hong - True Beginning of 2nd 21-Year Course

Truly one of the most momentous events of Unification Church history occurred on May 16, 1981 with the blessing of Ye Jin Moon to Jin Whi Hong. Jin Whi, 18, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sung Pyo Hong, a 36 couple. Mr. Hong is president of Il Hwa in Korea.

Father, who wanted to bless Ye Jin at the outset of the 2nd 21-year course, consulted with the 36 couples about a suitable mate and then called Ye Jin to Korea. Ye Jin, who left the choice completely up to Father, was matched on May 15 and married on May 16.

Rev. Kwak, who was present, reported back to the American membership that her blessing marks the true beginning of the 2nd 21-year course, which will be called the Age of the Child. In this age, Ye Jin and her husband, followed by the rest of Father’s children and their spouses, will be the Abel blessed couples through which the rest of the couples, in the Cain position, can connect to God.
