“Ontology and the Heavenly Parent” was the theme of a weekend conference November 1st through 3rd held at Barrytown College of the Unification Theological Seminary. Around forty men and women, UTS alumni as well as community members, explored the central theme of understanding the feminine nature of our Heavenly Parent, an aspect of ontology that has not been well understood throughout human history. The focus was on manifesting the embodiment of the heart of Heavenly Mother in Unification women and expressing this heart to the second generation.
The main presenter, Mr. Chris Krefft, spoke on such topics as “Review of the Principle of Creation in Light of Foundation Day,” “Ontology not Dualism, but Harmonious Oneness in Giving and Receiving” and “Ontology: Why God Works on Different Levels of Relationship.” This last presentation opened the way for significant group discussion in light of True Mother’s declaration that we should all call God “Heavenly Parent,” and the dynamics of that relationship.
The wisdom and heart of various ascended women from the Bible and contemporary history also added to the richness of the ontological discussions over the three-day program.
Comments from some of the participants expressed a deep sense of empowerment through this conference to connect with the feminine heart of God. There are plans to make a transcript of the conference available to interested readers.
