Father would like to speak especially to UTS graduates - stand up please. How much do you know Father? You are trying to understand in your own way, but how much do you really know him? You know Father according to your own experiences, your own observations and concepts. This is the same with your perception of Divine Principle and of true love too. The True Children also each understand Father in their own way . Therefore, how can we come up with one concept? This is a very, very important matter. There are two sides to human beings - the difficult and the joyful. People generally pursue the joyful side. If you go out with your friend, you want to have fun. But you don’t really know the depth of that person. When you observe that person in difficulty, the true side of that person will emerge. The most noble person will not compromise his principles in the face of great adversity. In this way he can show his divineness. If there is a God, He must be looking for that kind of person. In pursuing that ideal of God, incredible danger may come to your family - will you back off and turn around? God will never retreat or change His mind. He is looking for people with similar character. God goes beyond death. There is no failure, everything is perfection. Even in the fallen world, if a person has unchanging commitment he will never fail. That person will eventually succeed. God’s way is the public way . Satan faces death centered on himself. He can retreat and give up. The satanic world has limits, especially in the moment Satan sees himself in danger. That is the difference between God and Satan.

In religion, good and evil are clearly manifested. Good leaders are prepared to go the way of goodness even unto death. God wants to teach this way to His own people. This is the reason why the Bible appears contradictory: “Those who seek their life will lose it, while those who lose their life will gain it.” Sometimes when a husband and wife get together they ask each other “How much do you love me?” The ultimate response is “Unto death I will love you. Even if I die, I will come back and love you more. Death will not stop me.” If your spouse says that you should give him a medal. Jesus said to his disciples that they should love him more than their own families. This is the most simple truth that will secure your eternal life while on earth.

Father has been to prison so many times. In looking at his handcuffs which were linking him to death Father always thought “I know who I am. I may face death, if so what will this handcuff say - it will be my witness.” When you are facing danger and you become unyielding, that is when you overcome death. Father has already faced death head on and broken through. He has always faced difficulties head on. If your own parents, brothers and sisters leave and you’re a forgotten man - cast out - what frame of mind will you have? Father’s thinking was always that when he got out of prison, how could he apply myself to an even greater degree.

When Father came to America, no one understood his heart. At that time Father already had foresight. Having gone to prison in North Korea and Japan he knew he would go to jail in America. Father has always been putting bis life on the line. Father knew that unless he turned this

nation around in 3 1/2 years there would be trouble. Initially there was some welcome, but after touring a few cities, incredible persecution came. At first Father’s message was on the front page, but then it got smaller and was relegated to the back page. Father made up bis mind - he would not be known as a good man. He accepted being known as an evil man and would gradually change that image. When Father spoke people felt threatened and gave him many labels - slavedriver, brainwasher etc. Especially when people saw Japanese members who spoke no English working from morning till night. Father was called “worse than Khomeni;” people began picketing against him. Father made up his mind - there was no “good” way to turn this country around. Nobody said anything good about Rev. Moon. They tried to push Father into a corner, into prison. Initially the prisoners were trembling, but then they discovered Father was a handsome, benevolent grandfather. Who won? America or Rev. Moon? Heavenly strategy is in being beaten and then taking over. Therefore Father has been flourishing.

On the day Father entered Danbury prison many people cried. Bu·t Father did not cry. Father was already beyond Danbury. Father always used prison to find greater determination. He looks at you in that same fashion. No one else is responsible for your eternal life. You cannot be defeated by death. Now it is seven years ago since Father went to Danbury. Think how much has changed in America and the world. Father went to Russia and met Gorbachev - he went to North Korea and met Kim Il Sung - at that time he received information that the Red Army had come to America to kill Father. He was told not to go to North Korea, but he went anyway. We need such boldness and courage in the physical world. How much more you need that attitude in the invisible spiritual world. Separating the world into good and evil and restoring it is even more difficult than creation. We don’t know what Father has been doing in the physical world, even more we are unaware regarding spiritual matters. Even last night Father scolded Bo Hi Park so severely his eyes popped out! He still understands Father so little. Father understands him though. Father was waiting this morning to see how Bo Hi Pak was. Would he be dejected? No! (Bo Hi Pak responds) Father is always testing us in order to train us for the future so we can become more like Father. We need to imitate Father.

Father feels a special affinity towards UTS graduates. In the beginning, Father drove 2 1/2 hours everyday to see you. If one day he didn’t see you he felt something was missing. Father went so often to Barrytown in order to teach the right tradition to the first classes. Father was thinking he has to create path finders with whom he can set up the proper tradition. Now Father doesn’t go everyday. The first graduating class has unforgettable memories of Father pushing them into the water to go carp fishing! Father stayed up all night with the students, making the nets by hand. Father created Ocean Church with the most important purpose of giving you an unforgettable memory, to teach you something about tradition. “Father was with me - in the cold, late at night, making nets with me.” A new tradition for the sake of posterity. How many of you alumni really value those days? Father was thinking that he had to prepare for the day to provide leadership for a declining America. America today is now in a very miserable situation but still it must be saved. The young people are dying _. One time Jesus went through a grove of trees, cursing the fruitless tree. Father thinks the same way, walking down the street - cursing the lack of leadership in this country. Father’s 21 years in America cannot have been spent in vain. When Father leaves America how

many of you will bear fruit in America? There is a certain price and escrifice needed to eave thie country. F~ther c~nnot be h~r~ permanently. He roust go to Asia, there are 3.2 billion people waiting to be saved. Father wants to know, bow many of you will say “Father go. We will become like Rev. Moon and save the U.S.” Father’s purpose in coming here today is to bundle you up, to bind you together in word, promise and deed.

UTS must initiate the save America movement. “We will take care of this country Father.” The flame of UTS bas been burning. I want it to burn among you. I want you to become the savior of this nation. You were trained personally by Father. No one else can speak that way. You can give the heart of Father to others. Each graduate can multiply himself by 3 people who go to UTS; in this way the torch shall be handed down to others. With that heart Father has assembled you today. The resurrection among the people of America shall begin with you. Someone has to ignite it. Father is looking to you.

1995 will mark the 20th anniversary of the founding of UTS. By that time there will be over 1000 alumni. These are the forces that will ignite this moral revolution. The good seed must be taken and spread. Father cannot imagine you will be lesser than your own children. You are the inheritor’s of Father’s tradition and spirit. If you keep that pledge, America shall not decline. You must lead your juniors and your children. UTS is the monument - the embodiment of the spirit. You have to recruit people for UTS and create a volcanic explosion in America. You should think, I will be the central figure for that movement. As much as Father has loved you and UTS you shall love others and UTS. Let’s make another great time for UTS. Action is much more visible than your words. Words are cheap, whereas action is expensive. It is what you have done that counts.

This building is getting old (New Yorker). How many of you will take responsibility to restore it? None of you. Instead you are thinking “When will Father give us money to fix it up?” But this is your house. I have not even heard of one person giving $10 to fix it up. I am not an American citizen, my job and mission is accomplished. I leave everything behind. The World Mission Center will be here 50-100 years from now. I won’t be. This building is a monument, a holy ground. Somebody has to care. You have to build your monument behind you here on earth.

This meeting is very historical for UTS. Every God’s Day UTS graduates should be reminded to bring 3 people to UTS. Not only students - you should give a scholarship of $10,000/year. People and money. When a letter comes from President Kim, don’t complain - you should feel it is an intimate letter. If you don’t want to receive such a letter raise your hand. You can skip 1 meal a day to sponsor a student. When Father went to school he walked 1 1/2 miles everyday saving a 5 cent train fare in order to give to poor people. When Father went back to Seoul he retraced this path he had walked as a student and found everything changed except for one tree which still remained- he went up to this tree and hugged it like a long lost brother. The tree testified to what Father did.

When you go to society you have to accumulate some accomplishment. Eventually we are all preparing for our eternal spiritual life. One thing will matter: How much did you practice true love with your neighbors? Not many are qualified for heaven. Which path is more crowded, the path to Hell or Heaven? The path to Hell. God’s heart is

broken. How would you feel if your children went to the hospital instead of to school? It is the same feeling.

Father spent the prime of his life in the America - 21 years. Father must show the world how to live and prosper. Everyone must be ready. Strive today to be prepared. If you are lifted up to heaven you will find everything Father said to be true. But if you did not live it bow would you feel? Are you thinking “Father is an Asian man with an interesting teaching”? Did you shed tears for the sake of your country? You inherit those tears. If you as the children inherit Father’s tradition, you will not be outcast. Tears are the best way to inherit that tradition. Father bas picked this time to meet with you because Clinton is in the White House. It is an emergency time - you must invest your bones and flesh for the sake of this tradition. This country is in trouble, the cultural sphere has no direction. The only hope is Father. No one can take responsibility except Unificationists. In order to prepare for this day I raised you. You are the defenders of this tradition .. It is the time . for action. Ve have to rouse this country with a new spirit of life and restoration. Last year Father initiated United to Serve America and completed 2,500 rallies. This year Father wants to reach young people with correct moral values. We have to win the high schools. Vhen the Jewish people left Egypt they should have each taken 1 Eygptian with them. The 600,000 would have become 1.2 million. If they had done so it would have · been a completely different exodus. All of you under the age of 47 are in the chosen, second son position. In 1968 Father installed God’s Day, he was 47 years old. He felt so young with so much power then. Today Father is launching a new crusade.

To become an Olympic champion you need rigorous training. The same is true for spiritual Olympic champions. Would you like intense or mediocre training? You’re not stupid! Let’s train ourselves. Father wants to mobilize high level people, knitting them into an organization, in all different areas - media, politics, universities. Father wants to create a flying IOVC using a 727. But first you must become champions. Father would like to have an explosive conference where this truth is spoken. We have to fight back the drug culture, the homosexual culture. Homosexuality is the worst crime in God’s eyes. Father already has a great network with political, educational, religious leaders. Many are awaiting Father’s order. As soon as they hear a UTS graduate trained by Father is coming they will be excited. Father has a special place for the workshop - the Diamond Mountains in North Korea! Kim Il Sung asked Father to create an elegant resort there. At first Father said he .would think about it, but then signed papers and said YES! So he will do it. Maybe Kim Il Sung will come and give the opening remarks and talk on how to become a spy! He’s an expert! Ve can use his knowledge for good.

The KAL plane blew up above Burma. A beautiful woman did it. She was sentenced to death, but later was pardoned. She wrote a book sharing her experience of training as a spy. Father admired the training and wants American U.C. women to receive it! She had a cyanide pill to take in case she had to die. Incredible training and commitment. How about becoming that kind of women for Heaven - against Satan. The North Korean woman set the bomb on the plane. Woman invited Satan in, so women must chase him out.

North Korea is a modern day monarch - there are 10 to 15 palaces throughout the country. In each of these palaces there are many beautiful international women. We have to save them by training more

than t~ey would train. However you say “I’m not interested in that ~ind c:it” ~,.:.,t :11:m, F~the1-· don• t look at me!” We have eo many things to say to save them. The Mafia, gambling, prostitution - so many organizatione to eave. All the doors have to be opened. If Father was travelling with Hollywood people would you still follow him? Why? <Because we trust you.) Somebody has to do it. What is restoration and indemnity? When the Kremlin was crumbling - the first one in to give good news was Father. When Father was planning for Mother’s crusade some people thought he was senile! The Korean government told him “Father we don’t want you to be embarrassed, we have tried and failed to fill the gymnasiums.” Father said “Thank-you but no thank-you.” Father did it anyway.

Now in Mother’s place are you doing it? Like a tornado, in 1 year no woman has become that famous or done that much. 113 rallies in 7 months. Shall we do it in America, Korea or Japan? (United States! one sister said). That is the difference between American, Korean and Japanese women. Japanese women would bow their heads and American women would say United States! I like American women because you are good fighters. American women can become good evangelists. Father has brought Korean women over to America and told them to compete with American women. American woman’s weakness is that they react too quickly. When something unfavorable comes you react, but then you apologize well! Korean women get angry but say nothing. Chinese women watch you getting angry - they enjoy your face, simply nodding their head. You can’t compete with them! Japanese women are not deep enough. Twenty years from now your children will get married to other blessed children. All five colors of skin, all races will be intermingled into one family. Whoever serves the most will become the center of the family. Will that person be criticizing others or be someone like Buddha, not talking much but giving to others? That person will become the center. Would you like to work with Korean, Japanese and Chinese women? If Korean, Japanese, Chinese, American women work together - American women will give up first.

There are 1.2 billion Chinese. One village is one extended family. Many people living in one room. How can they do it? Because of the character of Chinese women. American women need privacy! If you want your children to become great - let them go to China. Once you become friends with a Chinese person they will become your friend for life.

Father and Mother were victorious in 1992 with WFWP and they will continue in 1993. There are 70 million households in America. We have to turn it around centered on women. Father’s thinking is to use the media and mass communication.

<Later that evening> You need to map out your own course - your youth only comes once - now is the time to prepare. Father is always preparing for the future - he prepared for Russia 27 years, for China 34 years. You are armed with Father’s vision, you have real patriotism. In the face of insurmountable opposition Father started from scratch. You don’t have to wait- the foundation is already made.

Become an influential person, command votes, become a person who is sought after by your senator and congressman. Have a showdown, turn the tables upside down! When you have correct purpose, you can be strong and make a big commotion- TAKE ACTION! Have hope and conviction- go around and visit every home as your home,

as Father did. Father always proclaimed you should become a good troublemaker. Those harboring big ambition have to learn how to manage you1 body. When you do so, Father’s foundation will become your realm.
