Declaration of the Day of the Opening of Heaven 1 On February 1” 1985 (December l2 h 1984 by Lunar Calendar) at 3:35am (US time), the Day of the Opening o f Heaven was declared at the federal prison in Danbury, US. True Father had been imprisoned in Danbury federal prison on July zo•h 1984 under a false charge, and had been walking the path of suffering, when he miraculously opened the gates of Heaven, by setting a special condition in front of God on the foundation of the day of the victory of love, and the day of the love of God, through a telephone call with True Mother in East Garden in the earl y morning of February 1” 1985.

Today is February I “, the day I declared the Day of the Opening of Heaven. What is the meaning of the opening of Heaven’s Gates? As the name in itself suggests, it means the gates of Heaven was opened. This is the day the gates were opened .

The history of God’s providence that has sought after the one world

Due to the fall of human ancestors, the history of humanity has been one of suffering and misery, and it has continued to be so. All the sufferings existing in this world is due to the fall of our human ancestors. The people living in this realm of the fallen world do not know the path they should follow . There are many people who do not know from where we have come from, to where we are going, and for what purpose we are leading our lives. There are many people living in this world right now, but what is the path they are following like? When we consider this, we find that they are following many different paths. What is more, in this present society in which everything is divided intO-:.different specialized categories and fields, the paths people follow differ due to their different occupations or beliefs. When we consider the path in itself, if a nation has a purpose, the many organizations from different directions under the nation’s system will follow its path in its own way in order to aGhieve that purpose. For example, a river starts out from a small stream. The small stream flows into a river, and following the main current, and with many tributaries flowing into it, the ri’.’er finally flows into the sea. When we consider the human history with this in mind, we see that each human life, although the individuals living them may not be aware of it, is heading for a purpose, the purpose of the world. This is the plain truth. The world is not shaped by humans alone. God’ s providence lies behind humans, and centering on this providence, human beings head for the one purpose of the world intended by God. This is the way we see it. The world of purpose desired by God cannot be more than one. There is only one such world. That means th e God of absoluteness cannot yearn for more than one purpose. Because He is a God of absoluteness, the world designed and desired by Him can only be one. In this regard, from the time of God’s creation until now, the history centering on human beings should be headed in one direction with one purpose, but we see that it is not so. What is the reason the humanity cannot head for just one direction? We cannot deny the fact that humanity is heading in various directions because of the fall , because something is amiss, and because we have lost the way. With this actuality in mind, we can say that God’s providence to save humanity, who have until now walked amidst confusion and sufferings, has sought to correct the situation by making all these diverse paths taken by humanity to head in one direction towards the one purpose. In order to do so, an institution that can follow thi s will of God’ s providence must appear in the history of humanity. This institution is religion . That is why, throughout human history, human beings have tried to unite the direction taken, by centering on religion, though the different forms of religions may have arisen from different cultural backgrounds in different times and environments. Then what is the purpose of religion ? The purpose of religion is to head for the one world. Although different religions have different names for and ways of worshipping God, the central Being worshipped by each religion is the one and only God. currently there are four religious cultural realms in the general sense; Christian cultural realm, Islamic cultural realm, the Hindu cultural realm of India, and the Buddhist cultural realm centering on — Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism of the East. From this point of view, we can see that the direction and purpose taught by each religion all heads for the one purpose with the one standard. Therefore, in the end each religion has to control its own path in order for all religions to enter the era of reformation at the same time. (140-9)

Only taking a great leap to the one world will solve all problems

But human beings cannot do so. In any era, human beings have failed to accomplish it. That is why as the last days approach, and as the world of God’ s providence to make the religions into one, and the world of purpose yearned for by religion approaches, this very religion will fail to play a major role in leading the world. In this way human history will finally head for the world of one purpose, but only through a history of conflicts.

It is the same for religion . Religion has the 4 religious cultural realms as its background, but with the last days in which the purpose of God’s providence can be achieved approaching, it will be a big problem if these religion s cannot be united into one. These religions with worldwide foundations should not fight with each other. As the world comes closer to the one world of purpose, it would be a tremendous problem if, in the last days, the religions fight with each other, and the path in which all people can become one cannot be found. So according to God’s providence, as the last days approach, all the paths in different directions that humanity is taking in the course of history will enter into an era of chaos at the time of the last days in which the one world is realized. They will arrive at a time when fights amongst themselves will not solve that problem. Such a time is none other than the present days. In this day, we have arrived at the final rout, in which fights centering on the materialistic communism and idealistic democracy will occur. If the two camps indeed go into battle, humanity will be totally destroyed. We have arrived at such an era. Then who can solve all the problems in this world and unite it into one? Experiments have already proved that it will be difficult to lead the world centering on US, the leading nation of democracy. And communism cannot achieve this either, because, although they have continued to fight under the communist doctrine of dominating the world, they have already lost the right to dominate the world centering on the Slavs. Communism on the world level failed to digest China, and so fell to the level of a nation or even a tribe. And when we consider the state of economic poverty in the current USSR, we see that communism has now arrived at a boundary through which they cannot break through into the world. Therefore it is logical to say that we cannot arrive at the new world of one will desired by God by centering either on US or communism. It is the same for religion. Until now, Christianity has ruled over the democratic world, and it even had the chance to dominate the world right after World War II. However, Christianity cannot rule over the new world with the same system it used to rule over the democratic world until now, centering on its Christian cultural background. Considering the fact that democracy, centered on the Christian cultural background, is about to be overthrown, we see that Christiarnty in itself cannot rule over the world. It is the same for other religions as well. Then, what are the problems that will arise from this situation? What is the task given to us? What are we supposed to do? We must make the great leap into the one world. Taking a leap is necessary in all things. From tht: democratic and communist worlds, we must make a leap into the new world of oneness. What is more, although religions have until now been mental leaders in various cultural backgrounds, religions cannot arrive at the world with one religious purpose by themselves, and so religion must also take a great leap into this one world. Then where will religion and the human history arrive when they take this great leap? It is logical to say that this destination cannot be different for religion and human history. There cannot be two destinations, in other words. It must be one. Until now, what has human history been mainly centered upon? We can say that until now our history has passed through an era of historical developments centered on the substantial world we are living in, and on the living systems centered on material objects around us. Then what has religion centered on until now? It took the opposite course from the substantial world. It took a path totally different. It has taken the path centered on the mental world until now. Now that these two paths, which have until now centered on the mentality and substantiality respectively, have arrived at the final destination of this era, the most critical issue at hand is how they conduct themselves here. There is a great wall between religion and the current society that blocks one from the other. Religious peopl e lead their lives centering on religion, but they themselves are not immune to the effects from the realities of this society, the world, and the systematiz.ed mundane world and its history. And they have no choice but to live in a world centered on substantial things, a nation centered on the materialistic life and where lives are connected to each other through it. Although this world puts substantial things before others, religion should not do so. Religion should put mentality before other things. (140-11)

The great leap to the world of oneness can be made possible only through the unity of my mind and body

Then why did the world become like this? That is because the history of the world is a path of seeking what we have lost centering on human beings alone. The fall means we have lost the path our bodies should follow. We — fell from the path. Then we Jost the path our minds should follow as well. In other words, both our bodies and our minds fell from the course. The truth is that our bodies and our minds have Jost the path they should follow, and the body and the mind themselves were separated from each other due to the fall. From this point of view, we can gather that the realities of the world occurring at this time in history, the last days of our history, are trying to reunite what has been separated from each other in the individual level. The individuals with reunited minds and bodies will spread around the world, and will be harvested on a world level in the last days. Due to the fall, the body and the mind were separated. With the separation of the body and the mind, the paths taken by the body and the mind were separated as well. This is the problem. How can we reunite these two · paths? What can make these paths into one? To reunite them, we must first know the cause of the fall. We must know the cause of the fall , and also the original path we were to follow if our human ancestors had not fallen . What is the fall ? It is not taking the right path, the original path, but going astray on the wrong path. Therefore we have to know how this sickness was brought about. The fall is like a sickness we are suffering from, so in

order to find the remedy we must first find out how this sickness was brought about, and what the original path we were to take was if we had not fallen sick. Adam and Eve fell at a position where they did not know that the one ideal world, the world with one purpose desired by God had to be realized. In this sense, human beings were born as the descendents of ancestors who fell at a position of ignorance, and so human beings do not know where they are supposed to go.

Now the last days have arrived, and the world is divided into two and these two sides are fighting with each other. But this world must become one world. If the world does not become one, human beings cannot survive. But what people do not realize is that along with this world, the world inside your minds must also become one. This is the problem. In this day, we say that the external world must become an ideal world of oneness and peace, but it does not occur to us that along with the external world, the world in our minds also must become one. And therefore we are faced with a problem here. Now that we have arrived at a point of time in which we should make the great leap into the world of oneness, how do we first make the world in our minds one? In this day, on what is our everyday life centered on? In our busy schedules, when we travel to and fro, what do we center on? There is a pivotal point that lies at the center of all our lives, and we lead our lives while revolving centering on this pivotal point. What do I mean by this? This pivotal point is none other than our minds. Each individual lives with his or her mind as the center. In this regard, in the last days of our history, we must make the great leap into the new world, but the world should be able to make this great leap centering on the mind. So what is the problem we are facing? It is that both the world of our minds and the world of our bodies should make the leap. On the great stage in the last days of the world, before the whole world, or at least the world of religion become one to make the great leap, the world of the mind and the world of the body must become one centering on myself. If the path tQ make the leap to the one purpose by becoming one is not prepared, even when the world era comes, the present world that succeeded the world of religion and the world of history cannot make this leap. It would be a disaster ifthe two worlds make the leap at separate times. The mind cannot make the leap before the body, and vice versa. They must make this great leap together. In this regard, now that the time will soon come when we will make the great leap centering on one ideology, theology or religious thought, we are faced with the problem of how we will connect religion and humanity together so that they can make the leap together. But before we consider this problem, we must first know that what is sown by an individual is like an indicator that can be harvested around the world. Therefore the first problem we should ponder on is not what will happen centering on the present world, but how an individual can unite the mind and the body so that they can make the leap together. That is why, until now religion and this world, and the humanity living in it have walked separate paths, but from now on religion and humanity must have a common destiny and find a common path in order to solve this problem. If they do not become one, we will never get to see the new world, because we will never be able to make the leap. (140-13)

The history of the good God and the evil god who have fought with each other centering on the mind and the body

But the path that should be followed by religion, and the path that should be followed by the world are separated from each other with a wall. How can a non-believer live in harmony with a religious person, and how can a religious person live harmoniously at the era of the end of the world? If this problem is not solved, humanity will be forever divided into two sides and they will not be able to enter the new world of oneness. If these two separated sides are allowed to enter the world of oneness, the new world will also be divided into two worlds, and that is not what God of absoluteness wants or idealizes. In other words, Gods’ ideal world, which can only be one, cannot be entered by two separate sides. That is why the main problem of this day is not how this complicated worldwide problem can be solved, but how a person can unite his body and mind into one so that he can make the leap to the purpose. This is the biggest problem at hand. When we consider the fact that the way to unity of religion and the world should first be found within one’s self, — we can see the significance of the unification church in this day. The unification church is not a religion for religion alone. The unification church seeks to become one with the world, so that it can find the path that both the foundation ofreligious activities and the foundation of social activities can take. And on top of this, it seeks to help the world find the path of the religious sector, so that they can follow the one path together. At present the paths of these two separate worlds are divided by a wall. The problem is that there is a wall that prevents religion and the society from becoming one, in the individual, family, race, nation, world, and even in the spirit world. We must know from where to break down this wall. Where did the first problem occur? It did not start from the · end of the world. The problem was first started in the individual. And what is the result of this problem that occurred to the individual? The body and mind were divided from each other. The result is that the body and the mind became two separate entities, having their own purposes and going in different directions towards these

different purposes. Then what is the problem we have to solve here? The problem is how we can first unite these purposes into one, and then connect the separated body and mind so that they become one. Moreover, there are God and Satan at work here. God has been working hard until now for his providence of restoration, and has guided us in the providence of seeking the truth, in order to save human beings. In contrast, Satan has been working hard to oppose God’s providence. On the one hand, God, who is the good god, has set the one ideal world as the purpose and the final destination of His JX’OVidence and has pursued the path to this purpose until now. On the other hand, Satan, the evil god, has JX’evented people from following this path, and has made them go astray and follow the opposite path. With the boundary, the wall as the center, God is telling people not to cross over the wall to the other side and to follow the path on the right, and Satan is telling people to follow the path on the left. And that is why in the end there is division. Because of this, human beings who have started out to follow the path on the right have resulted in the division, with the right side ~nted by the right wing, and the left side spread out to the whole world as the left wing. This is the historic era in which the right and the left wing will face each other. The right and the left wing reJX”esent the result of the fight between the mind and the body. Then how can we unite them into one? This is the problem. Does the world become one, then the nation, then the tribe, then the family, and finally the individual? Definitely not. It should start out from the individual. So we should leave the world alone for the present and focus on a unification movement that starts from the individual level. In this way, starting from an individual, religion should be connected to the reality, and reality should be connected to religion, so that in an individual, one cannot deny the other.

But there is a problem in doing so. This JX”Oblem is that the evil god rules over the body. The root of the evil god · is centered on my body, and the root of the good god is centered on my mind. That is why the body and the mind are divided into materialism and spiritualism. The words in the world do not appear by themselves. As the historic time of the era approaches, the sinner should confess that he is a sinner. He should confess, “I am such a person”. Whether we human beings can become one or not in this vast stage of the world depends on the fight of the good god and the evil god on the world level. Because I am a part of it, and all of us are included in it, we cannot feel it, but the good god and the evil god are fighting with each other from these positions. Now, the problem is how we can make our mind and body into one. Before we complain about the world, before we cry our for a peaceful world, and before we cry our fer a world of true hawiness, we should look back on ourselves and consider whether our minds and our bodies are united into one, and whether we are the starting points of peace, and whether God is at the center of the starting points of peace. This is the JX’Oblem. This starting point cannot be made up of the mind alone. The mind, centering on God, should also be united with the body. If this had come about, there would not have been two paths in following God. There would have been only one path. But due to the fall, hwnan beings have two paths to follow. They were divided. So when we see the resultant world, we cannot deny that ;there was a wrongful cause. We cannot deny the reality of the stage of our everyday life, where the world re~enting the left wing and the world representing the right wing are in conflict with each other. In other words, this fight was not started from the world but from myself. (140-15)

A perfected person should lead all PeoPle in one direction in the position of absoluteness

That is why as the last days approach a God who is truly transcendental is necessary. We need a God who transcends evil and everything else, who has absolute power over all, and ifthe devil exists, God should not be hindered by this devil, but should transcend over it, and be completely unrestricted. Before we can find such a God, we will not be able to overcome the state of conflict that exists at JX”esent. In other words, the era of history that has been carried on until now, and the history of religion which has been the internal leader of the present age cannot overcome this new culture. Only when we center on the one absolute and transcendental God who will not let the evil god intervene any longer, and not a good god who fights with the evil god, can we begin to restore this world.

…- Then let us consider for a moment about God. What kind of a God is this God? We see that He is not a transcendental God who rules over the history of providence or the history of humanity. Why is this so? This is because human beings fell. God stands in the position of a doctor who will cure human beings of this sickness. He is the repairman, in the position of mending us of this defect. He could not become a God who was only to guide a perfected person in the position of absoluteness to lead all people in the one direction. That person was to choose the right direction over the wrong one. This is what is different. Don’t all people have minds and bodies? The body and the inind must become one. This comes first. But how to make them into one is the problem. We have to make them into one, but the root of Satan is deeply driven into ·your bodies. How was this root driven into your bodies? As the divine principle of the unification church has disclosed, this root came to be driven into our bodies throogh the blood lineage of the evil god. In other words, we have inherited the blood lineage of the evil god. In my veins and flesh flows the blood of Satan, the devil. In our bodies are deeply rooted the root of the devil’s blood lineage. This is the problem. Then how about the

world of our minds? Is the root of God’s blood lineage deeply rooted in our minds? God’s root could not be driven into our minds. The one deeply rooted on earth is Satan, whereas God is still floating in the air. ( 140-18)

The person to recover the lost love is the Messiah

lf God and the human ancestor had been bound together Into one model, what would have happened? We can make the conclusion that the resulting root which would have then been planted centering on God’s love would have been the root that established the foundation for both the body and the mind. In other words, the original purpose of creation was for the mind and the body to become the root centering on God’s love, whi(:h would have not faltered for anything, but would have followed God’s love through a ono-way path into God’s ideal world. The direction taken would always be centered on Jove. You cannot get there if you are not centered on love. Only when I become a person with a loving heart and become one with God, and my mind and my body become one in love, be it man or woman, only such a person standing in such a position can follow God and enter the world of purpose and love. This path oflife could not be followed due to the fall, and so we have to be restored to this path. Although this must be realized in this world, there had been no way of restoring human beings to the original path. So as the person in charge of solving this problem, and as the representative of human beings, the Messiah was sent to us. The Messiah is also the Savior. Who is the Savior? He is the person who will recover the lost love. Then who is the savior talked of in Christianity? He is the person sent to restore hwnan beings because we were born from false parents due to the fall. He is sent to restore false parents to the position of true parents. The true parents are supposed to come and, centering on the core of God’s love that human beings could not reach until now, lead us to the path we were supposed to follow if we had not fallen. Unless we do so. we cannot enter the realm of God’s love that is unique and absolute. The Messiah is the person sent to us to fulfill this mission. Then who is the lord of the secoQd coming? He is the person who comes as the true father and establishes the position of true parents with the true mother he has sought out, and consequently establishes the core of love, that-Oad been lost, to become one with God. That is why it had been prophesied that Jesus would come back on the clouds in thelast days. But what will he do when he comes back on the clouds? He will seek out a bride. Then what does that mean? Since the parents were lost, they should be found again, so that the absolute core of the origin, which is the love centered on husband and wife and also the love of God, can be established. Only then can all the sadness, grief, sufferings, wars and diseases brought about in this fallen world of man can be resolved. Nothing else can solve these problems. So what is the unification church? The unification church works to unite everything into one. But how can the unification church unite everything into one? Through power? Or intellect? Or intimidating power? Definitely not. This can be done only through love, the essential love. Where does this essential love come from? It must come from God. Why should it come from God? Human beings were born out of love. When you were born, wasn’t your parent’s love at the root pf your birth? If that love is connected to God’s love, God’s love can take root in both your minds and bodies. (l~0-22)

You should completely deny yourselve.s and the root of God’s love should take root

Ii; God’s love deeply rooted in your minds, so much so that you can not pull it out no matter how hard you try? “I am completely bound by God’s love. I cannot do anything I want to do with my body. Since God’s love is so deeply rooted in my body, I cannot live the way I would like to. I am a person who cannot live without centering on God’s love. Even when I eat, I eat centering on God’s love, and when I live my life, both my body and mind are centered on God’s love.” Is it that way for you? It is not like that. Then who will break down this wall?

Today is the Day of the Opening of Heaven. What docs opening of Heaven’s Gates mean? This is the problem. You must go seeking for God’s love, but your minds and your bodies have become enemies with each other. God’s Jove should have taken root in your bodies, but instead it was the root of Satan’s love that had taken root. Therefore God cannot take root in the world of the mind where the body is centering on the root of the enemy. — According to the divine principle, God’s love was supposed to take root when the mind and the body are united into one. The root of love cannot take root if the body and the mind are separated and in constant conflict from each other. So the problem here is myself. I. It is not anything else, but myself. Don’t you occasionally complain about the objective world? When a person says, “The world is about to be ruined”, that means the speaker is standing in the position of someone who is saying “I am not a person to be ruined, but the world in which I live in is about to be ruined.” That is the enemy. Everything bad is blamed on the world and complained of, and everything good is mine, and so I am please with it. This is the problem. The problem is not that the world itself is bad, but . that I have not discovered that I myselfis bad. . I should know that I inherited the blood of Satan. Who is Satan? From God’s point of view, Satan is an adulterer of Jove. He is a traitor. He is the enemy of love. In my blood veins are flowing the blood of Satan, the blood of God’s archenemy. That is why we should draw out this blood. Is it easy to draw out blood? Your eyes are not

the eyes of people who love God. Your eyes complain about the world and think of yourselves as the best in the world.

The fall was the beginning of arrogance. It must be completely gotten rid of. That is why in religion you are told to deny everything the body desires. What does the body desire? What does the body like? It likes to be comfortable. That is why you are told to walk the path of suffering. What does the body like next to that? It likes to eat good things. That is why you are told to fast. You must the do opposite. What comes next? Worldly love, the husband is the best, the wife is the best, and my sons and daughters are the best, but what good is being the best of a lineage inherited from Satan? This is wrong. You should deny this as well. For God’s love you must deny your husband’s love. This is the problem. You must deny your wife’s love. You must deny your children’s love. Not only that, but you must also deny the family, society, nation and the world which was formed centering on Satan’s love. Unless you set the condition that you have completely denied all this, do you think God can claim and love the remnants of what Satan played with and loved? Satan should not exist. Originally, human beings were only to serve God of absoluteness, and so if there are any traces of Satan’s plays on your bodies, the original ideal of love cannot take root in you minds or your bodies. We cannot deny that our original ancestors fell. Our human ancestors were supposed to show that only God was supposed to take root in both our bodies and our minds, and that only God can be connected to our bodies and our minds through ties oflove. Fallen human beings must cut off everything and be engrafted to true love

In this regard, if the fall of human beings is true, what is the uppermost religion among all contemporary religions? The religion that completely denies the fallen world, centering upon the logic of love. After denying the fallen world, the religion must develop more positive Jove than that which it denies in the fallen world. When the world transforms itself into such a world of love, the ideal world comes. What kind of place is the Unification Church? It is the place where God can experience love that He has never tasted before through relationships with human beings, and where God can implant the root of Jove in the human world that He has never done before. • Reverend Moon, who established the Unification Church, must lead the history of engrafting an individual, a fiunily and so on, until the whole world is included, into the one root, one trunk, one branch and one leaf of love centering upon God’s love. In order to be engrafted into the new root, you must cut everything belonging to the satanic world Where do you cut? Should you cut the legs? You must cut your neck. That is why Jesus said, ‘’lbose who want to die will live, and those who want to live will die.” Those who want to cut their neck will live, and those who do not want to cut their neck will die, because our destiny is to be engrafted onto the new root. The heavenly nation and the evil ~anic world are fighting over this. The path you are supposed to follow centering on true love, the path you iiJ:e supposed to follow with one mind and.body is blocked. The path to true love is blocked, and so your mind and body cannot follow this path. It is Satan’s love that blocked this path. Centering on love, doesn’t plus and p~us repel each other? Originally, the body was suw<>sed be a minus, centering on God’s Jove, which is a pJUs. But Satan’s love is acting as another plus factor in place of God’s authority, and so the body and the mind repel each other. If the Jove of satanic world, the Jove in the body is completely rooted out, the body will center on the mind and become the object with the mind as the subject. In this way, the mind would be a plus and the body would ~ a minus, and so as the body matures, it can automatically become one with the mind. But there is another plus factor residing in our bodies right now, which is Satan’s love, and so they repel each other.

Even if you believe in Jesus, Buddha, or even try to be enlightened by yourselt: you cannot go to heaven or paradise if your mind and body do not become one. You should know this. Contemporary Christians attend services regularly, read the Bible, sing hymns and attend early morning prayers, but all the reading and reciting will not enable them to enter heaven if their minds and bodies are not united into one. You should know this clearly. Can unification church members be exceptions? No. Can Rev. Moon himself be an exception? Definitely not. That is why Rev. Moon has walked the path of struggles all his life until now in order to set up the path of God’s love, amidst oppositions and persecutions from the satanic world. I should first unite my mind and body into one, then unite my family into one, and finally spread it out to the whole world by engrafting everyone to this root of love. The branches of other existing churches will all wither and die out. As a result, this whole world will also wither and die out. But the unification church has put forth shoots from this new root of love, and has formed a realm of unification tribe by engrafting the whole world . Then what can break dowri this wall? What can break down the wall that separates the mi~d and the body? Brute force cannot break it down. Only God’s Jove can do it. What can completely unite a man and a woman eternally? If they are bound together by false love, they will only fight with each other. Their bodies may be bound together, but the woman’s mind wants to go one way, while the man’s mind wants to go another way.

They will have different purposes. Their bodies may be bound together, but their minds want to go to some place else. Where would these minds want to go? They want to go in the direction of a bigger love, a better love, and a more splendid love. The country that presents this clearly is USA. Even after they are married, American women cannot keep their focus on one place. Their backs are bound to their husbands, but their eyes travel around constantly, looking for good-looking men around them. That is why it is said that in the last days pregnant women will meet with disasters. That is because since she has both a husband and children as well, she is more involved with worldly love than anyone else. Men think to themselves, “IfI d9n’t have a wife, I can get one, ifI don’t have a child, I can give birth to one, even if they pass away … “ and so they can put everything in order easily before they go, but it is different with women. They would rather die than leave their husbands and children behind. For this reason it is said that in the last days pregnant women will meet with disasters. They must be married again. In the unification church, we say that married women, even those with children, must receive the blessing. This logic is reasonable when we consider the principle of heavenly law, which says that we must put down roots once again. (140-28)

Unification church plants seeds of love transcending national boundaries

Today is the Day of the Opening of Heaven. Since the parents have made a mistake, God has to take full responsibility for this mistake. Taking over this responsibility from God, Rev. Moon must open the gates. He has to open the gate from the individual level, family and tribe. All of those gates have been blocked. The doors for races, nations and the world have been blocked. All of those doors have to be opened. By what? By Unification Church families. You can find unification church families in more than a hundred and something nations. Through this we can cross borders easily. Germany anti: France lie adjacent to each other, and if a Frenchman asks a German at the border, ‘’Oh, I’m visiting Germany, and since you’re a German you should guide me,” the German will indeed guide the Frenchman around his nation. This is something that is unprecedented. The German government will not . like it But the Frenchman is not visiting Germany to steal national intelligence from the German government. He is going there to plant seeds oflove in the German government. Fundamentally, God’s love can be planted anywhere around the world. Ifwe want to plant God’s true love, even the fallen world does not have the right to refuse us. Anything apart from the seeds of God’s love can be refused, but when we cross borders to plant seeds of God’s true love, we cannot be refused. If a Frenchman crosses the border into Germany to plant seeds of love, and he is opposed by a German, aa:ording to the law of love that opposing German will be punished before the Frenchman who is opposed. This is the heavenly law. German people generally think of French people as enemies of their nation. But we tell French people to go and plant seeds of love in Germany, and we tell German people to plant seeds of love in France. That is why the unification church transcends national ,boundaries centering on love ties. In establishing a world that has not ‘(alien, what is the first thing that should be formed? Should national boundaries be built first, or should God;s love be established first? God’s love must be formed before all others. If God’s love exists there, there would~ no national boundaries. The path that centers on true love does not acknowledge national boundaries. Even i’f American laws tell me what I can and cannot do and oppose me, I will not acknowledge American borders centering on God’s love. The American people themselves welcome the gift oflove I’m bringing to them, but Satan has put up the national border right in front of me to block me. This national boundary should be broken down. The policy that puts OS first should be abolished.

From the individual, family, tribe, race, nation to the world is divided into two by a wall. Even the cosmos and the sprit world are divided into heaven and hell and blocked. By whom have they been blocked? If Adam and Eve had become True Parents, the whole cosmos would have been united. But because they became false parents through the Fall, the Kingdom of Heaven and hell have been blocked. Who can break down this historical world of grievous resentment? True Parents have to do it. When they do it, they are not doing it from the position of a king or that of an imperial throne. Because mankind lives a suffering — life in hell on earth and in the spiritual world, the gate of hell first has to be opened on earth. Then the gate of hell in the spiritual world has to be opened. Through that, the pathway is opened on earth for the individual, the nation and the world. The highway connecting earth to the spiritual world has to be constructed. They have to connect to the mainstream. With the standard of unity between mind and body, we have to go beyond family, tribe, race, nation and world and the spiritual world to break down all the barriers. Everything has to be broken down. The worst and last problem is to open the gate of hell and heaven in the spiritual world which has been blocked. We have to go to the depths of hell on earth and open the gate of hell on earth. We have to go to the first gate of hell in the spiritual world and open it Otherwise, nobody can enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only the person who wins over hell can open it. How can you win? Not by a prayer, but by God’s love. Unless you can do this, you cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven. That is why Reverend Moon paved the way from earth to heaven by

opening the gate of hell on earth and in the spiritual world centered on God’s love. The name of the International Highway came from this. Do you understand? This is to break down the wall that has been blocking us. There are many nations and principles in the world, but according to the divine principle, only the principle that centers on the core of love with God’s true love as the nucleus, the core that connects human ancestors to this nucleus becomes the mainstream. On the path true parents follow centering on this core, true filial sons and daughters must be born. And when the true parents and the filial children connect with each other and ascend to the national level, true patriots must be born. And when they climb over the true national level into the world level, true saints must appear. All members of the unification church should carry on with the works of the saints. Who are the saints? They do not think only about their nations. They do their utmost best for the world, and work hard to save the world. So even though unification members reside in Korea, they must inherit the path of saints and live for the world. What comes next? They must live not only for the world, but also for the spirit world &nd the cosmos.

The reason Jesus became the prince of heaven and had the authority as God’s only son was that he was able to love not only the Satanic world but also the spiritual world. The spiritual world has been blocked by boundaries, such as the boundary sphere of the Buddha, the sphere of Confucius, all of the barriers have to be broken down by a higher standard of God’s heart than theirs. From the high throne of heaven, all the walls must be broken down from the highest level to the lowest. The barriers of ancestors from tens of thousands of years ago, many thousands of years ago, many hundreds of years ago, and the barriers of ancestors of only many years ago, have to be broken down on earth and pave the way to connect to hell. Otherwise, the opening of the gate of heaven cannot come about. It is complicated. (140-43)

The Kingdom of Heaven is emp9’ .. If the people who have gone to the spiritual world had not fallen, they would be able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven on the foundation of uniting with the core of True Parents’ love, centered on God. Everything has been delayed because man did not have that opportunity. Where did the delay oi;iginate? It has been delayed in hell and paradise. So nobody is in the Kingdom of Heaven. The very first people to enter the Kingdom of Heaven shoukl be True Parents. If I say the Kingdom of Heaven is empty, people will think I am demented. But Jesus could not enter the Kingdom ofHeaven. You cannot go there alone. If our original ancestors had grown into adolescence, and had established the three objects of love which is the ideal oflove centered on God, they would have become the parents who could leave the seeds of true love. The Kingdom of Heaven is the place where such parents enter first. But until now, there has been no couple who has been able to leave the seeds of true love, and also there is no foundation for the descendants to inherit. So the Kingdom of Heaven is empty. Due to the Unification Church, the gate of the Kingdom of Heaven has been opened. But because Father did not go there yet, there is no one who has entered. Even Heung-Jin is waiting to enter while he goes in and out of there with Jesus. I am not just making up a story and trickily telling this to you. After I checked and checked, even worthless things, and researched arid ran through everything, I found that there is only one way to go directly. That is to go to the family, tribe, race, nation, world and spiritual world and up to the heavenly throne. On_the way, you have to give others directions with a signal of love to guide them. You cannot communicate with other signals besides that, or else you cannot go. Do you have confidence to go to the Kingdom of Heaven? You can get there by a love car, If it happens that an angel of love can give signals to the love car, it can guide you to the Kingdom of Heaven. Even though this road is winding, it is a highway. On this day oflast year, Father at Danbury and Mother at East Garden finally opened the gate to connect heaven and earth. Ancestors who went to the spiritual world many thousands of years ago came down to their descendants. If you enter the Kingdom of Heaven, you have to descend on earth through hell. If you want to go to the Kingdom of Heaven, you have to win over hell. Only persons who win over hell can go to the Kingdom of Heaven. Paradise is like a waiting station before you enter the Kingdom of Heaven, after having gone to the depths of hell. — Did Jesus sow the original seeds oflove? Jesus came to earth to find a bride he loved and sow the seeds oflove, but did he do so? So, should Jesus come on clouds? Should he come in the form of a spirit, or a person? He should come as a human being with a physical form. The world cannot be operated with wild guesses and rough estimates. It must operate according to the theory. Perfection ·is only possible on the foundation of complete knowledge. Do you think it is possible to attain perfection when you are completely ignorant, disheveled and without any clear ideas on how to go about it? Even in a scientific era like today, and despite all experiments and estimates based on intelligence from computer data the Challenger exploded without leaving a trace. They pressed the button to set it off after having a complete knowledge base, perfect plans, statistics and enough positive proofs to forecast a success, and yet in 57 seconds it exploded. This proves how difficult it is to perfect something even with complete knowledge. Then do you think it is possible for you to become perfected and go to the Kingdom of Heaven if you are completely ignorant and uneducated? (140-45)

After being connected to each other by the realm of heart, the gates of heaven and earth were opened

Now, I told you before that the gates of heaven and hell in the spirit world were not opened, didn’t I? If all the gates in the spirit world are to be opened, all the spirits in the spirit world must be connected by love. In other words, the unified realm of heaven and the spirit world can only come about if all· the spirits in the spirit world passed through the love ties of True Parents rooted on earth, before they entered the spirit world. But until now, all of our ancestors in human history have not been connected to the root of True Parents love before they went to the spirit world. Heung Jin is the second son of True Parents. On earth, he lived to be 18, the age of Adam before the fall. Born as the son of True Parents, he went to the sprit world with a love connection to True Parents. Did Jesus go to spirit world with a love tie centered on True Parents’ root? Because Jesus does not have a connection to True Parents’ love, he cannot come or be of help to the realm of the unification church, led by True Parents. And that is why we must liberate them. When Heung Jin went to the spirit world, Jesus became the old messiah and Heung Jin stands in the position of the new messiah. From their respective positions, Jesus serves Rev. Moon’s son centered on True Parents’ love, and they have become one. By this unity, the spirit world can now be controlled by the realm of True Parents’ love, centering on Jesus, and the path of ~ucation has been opened for all the spirits that have gone to the spirit world as believers of Jesus, even those in hell. In this way, it has finally become possible to establish the kingship of the spirit world. Because True parents came with the kingship centered on both the spirit world and the physical world, in order to connect it to the spirit world, they must first establish a unified foundation of the spirit world and connect it to the foundation of the kingship, the fuundation of formative growth. Otherwise the spirit world cannot be connected to True Parents as they stand in the position of h~ving reached the perfection stage on earth. Therefore all preparations must be made beforehand. The spirit world was supposed to be united and connected centering on the connection of True Parents’ love, but everything was blocked by a wal~. But now that Heung Jin and Jesus has become one, Jesus can be connected to True Parents’ family on earth through him. By the blessing of Heung Jin, &:,_bridge oflove has been laid between earth and heaven that connects Heung Jin and his wife who is still in the physical world. Through this bridge, Jesus can come to the physical world and help True parents’ family and the unification church. Because this door has been opened, Christianity centering on Jesus must become one with the unification church on earth. That is why such happenings are occurring in USA. How else do you think the other existing churches and denominations of Christianity, that have opposed the unification church until yesterday, have suddenly decided to get together and put the unification church in the position of Abel? The existing churches arc In the position of Cain, the elder brother, but they gave up the position of the elder brother to the younger brother as they returned. The existing churches know that on the way back the younger brother has to stand in front with the birthright, and so by serving the unification church, they are … The spirits that have gone to the spirit world as Christians stand in the position of the archangel assistfog God, and so they are helping Adam and Eve on earth who are going through the process of re-creation. In other words, just as the archangel was supposed to help Adam and Eve, these ~rits come to earth to help the unification church and Christianity in their joint activities. •·

In this way by connecting earth and heaven, the realm of heart has been united into one. Until now, all nations and former kings and leaders of Christian states in the spirit world had been separated from each other by walls, but now they are all connected into one. Until now, making the leap to the purpose of uniting all into one unified realm that is centered on the realm of heart of God’s love, transcending all nations, was impossible. What, then, has been made possible by the connecting of realm of heart on earth and in heaven, and establishing a unified realm? Now we can enter the Jrivileged era where we can fulfill the objective realm. Why? Because Heung Jin was married to Hoon Sook. So now even in the sprit world, the era of endowing objective ideal has come, endowing the objective ideal to all the spirits of the patriots that had been loyal to their late king. In other words, they can now unite into one, and work to unite all government officials centering on the president in office of their nation on earth. Now that this historic realm ofheart can be connected to the realm ofheart of True Parents, the time has come in which presidents and leaders in the world can join the unification church. Since all the presidents who have gone to the spirit world should come and bow down in front of the parents on earth, as their representatives 12 former presidents were called here to pay tribute. In other words, since the presidents in the spirit world are all former presidents, by connecting to the former presidents on earth we have also been connected to the presidents in the spirit world. At this time, if current presidents are connected to the unification church, and centering on them at least 3 nations are united into one, the world will be easily restored. Then we will be able to enter the era of the realm of a unified kingdom. Until now all paths that connected God’s love to the physical world and the spirit world centering on True Parents had been blocked, but by opening the gates of hell and heaven, these paths have finally been opened up as well. The hell that lies before the spirit world, and the hell of the physical world is this world itself, and so we should start a movement centering on the destiny of Christianity and unification of religion and unification of the world to unite all into one. Now we are entering the era in which all races and religions can make the great

• leap to the new world, by establishing an organization for the Unification of North and South America, and a national assembly ofreligion, and centering on a new unified movement that will take us in the direction of the unified world. You should know that what enables religions of the world, and democracy and communism of the world to follow the ideology of love and make the great leap, centering on the direction started out from heaven and passing through nations and races, is the unification thought and the realm of heart of the unification church. Through this realm of heart, Rev. Moon should bring Satan to submission in the path of the cross on the world level at Danbury, and break down the wall that stands between hell and heaven. You should remember that this is the significant historic truth that commemorates this day. Therefore I am deeply grateful for the time in Danbury. Starting from July, and passing through August, September, October, November, December, and January, it took 7 months. Centering on the sentence of 13 months, in half of that time I went to the bottommost part of hell and have opened the door. Because I have opened this door, I can liberate the satanic world centering on the realm of heart that Satan has followed until now. That is why after my release, in 120 days I have to win over public opinions of the world, and become a religious leader of the world, at the same time attaining the central position of a respected leader in the political world. Nobody can stand in the way of Rev. Moon. You should all know that nobody can block the paths of those that follow orders from Rev. Moon. (140-53)

Inherit the victory of True parents and go directly to heaven

You should love True Parents more than your families, yourselves, or the satanic world. Can you exchange True Parents with your husband? Can you exchange True Parents with your wife and children? Definitely not. Because you are following the path of love that serves True Parents, you cannot forsake True Parents. You can forsake your wife. 1n the colll’Se Q:f restoration, you have to pass through two women. But there cannot be two mothers. 1n the era of restoration, you have to pass through a woman who has not fallen. It is supposed to be like that. You must know this clearly. From the earth, I have prepared the highway and brought the victorious power of heaven and passed it on to you. So, you have to love True Parents absolutely centered on True Parents’ standard and realm of heart and separate from the roots of heart caused by fallen parents. By doing so, centered on new parents, you have to plant God’s love in your mind and body and attain absolute oneness. Then, Satan cannot separate you from God. This is theoretical. Then what will happen to you? I went through the history of indemnity to save Cain-type sons and daughters as the representatives of the world. Therefore if you love the world more, with a bigger heart, than True Parents, there is nothing in the spiritual world or physical world which can block you from now on. You start from the earth and can go beyond the world and the spiritual world directly to heaven. But if you cannot fulfill it, your way will have so many barriers. B~ Father knew this, he dedicated his life up to now to prepare the way, and gave you the privilege to attend ‘t}le Day of the Opening of Heaven’s Gate.
