The Korean people had suffered greatly over the shooting down of a Korean Airlines jet shot down in the skies above the Soviet Union and over the South Korean officials killed in the bombing in Rangoon, Myanmar. When they received me, I could see in their faces that they saw a ray of hope.

Following this, Korea must quickly develop the basis to connect itself to the world. This is the only way for Korea to survive. If True Parents connect the seven million VOC families living in Korea to the families of American ministers, then we can connect naturally to the growing realm of Christian influence.

At the National Victory Over Communism Rally, I gave a clear message on how to defeat the communists, and the people of the nation welcomed it and responded with applause.
From all eight cities, twenty three thousand people were gathered and in Seoul, five thousand people were attended the rally. At that time, over five hundred police came to stope the rally.

During True Father’s speech,
he was wearing a bulletproof vest because of
the opposition forces.
Especially, the last rally in Korea, True Father delivered his speech amid rising tensions due to reports that a group had been sent there to assassinate him. On that same day Heung-jin Moon, True Parents’ second son, was badly injured in a traffic accident in the United States.

His injuries proved fatal, and he passed away on January 2, 1984. At a time of opposition from that Christian nation and the increasing danger of communism, his death became a sacrificial offering.
Is there a genuine solution that can bring order to this global chaos? Should humanity resi/,,’11 itself and simply wait for the day of destruction? We never can allow that to happen. A fundamental solution to these problems does exist. That solution is based on the proposition that God, the Absolute Being, exists. It is because the world that the absolute God seeks to realize on earth is a world of peace, a world free from confusion.
