We have learned already through the Divine Principle that all of us are going the road of restoration. To go through the authentic way, the road of restoration, the real course or crux of the problem rests entirely on the family-by restoring the family the whole thing is on its way. This is the key to the solution. So in essence, it’s rather simple. There was God, there was the archangel and there was Adam and Eve. Centering on God, that family would have been formed and God’s tradition of family and king of love would have been inherited generation after generation. This would have been the normal way. The blood relationship, the most important part here, would have come from God.

As a result of the fall, the blood we received was not the blood of God. It was reversed. As a result of the fall, instead of God’s blood we received Satan’s blood. His tradition of love and a different direction have directed mankind. This is what we see today. So ever since that time, the problem of mankind-all through the generations, was how to get ourselves out of the influence of Satan, by changing Satan’s blood, Satan’s heart and Satan’s affection. How to rid ourselves of him has been the age-old question of every man of every religion. Every righteous man has sacrificed because of this reason.

Very strictly speaking, when you are restoring your family, then you have to be purely different from what is in the past. In other words, we shouldn’t think about any other relationship except the relationship of God. Anything that has to do with our past relationships we really try our best to erase out of our minds if possible. Even our country, as a result of the fall, did not originate from God. We have to try to cut off all the relationships of affection which our mind is drawn to. Otherwise, if we want to go to Heaven, then Satan will hold on to you through that affection. The family itself is not free from Satan. You are not an individual, you are a family and you are part of the nation; the nation may not let you go through its boundary to Heaven. Do you understand? It will try to claim you with that connection. Religion has been expanding every year, every generation and every century. Why? So that individuals and families can influence not only the country, but the world, that no one can stop you. Today we know that religion is at the world level so that when the Messiah comes, then he can do all in one arrangement because everything is under the influence of religion.

Nothing can effectively stop you from going to heaven. Do you understand? This is why religion rules. The Messiah’s work goes from the individual level to family level to clan and nation level and world level. He will work on all seven levels, on the world level during these seven years. He is restoring

everything from the rock bottom. All at one time, from individual up to the world, is completely redirected with a new tradition and a new blood lineage. This is what the Messiah does through religion. As we know there can be many problems, but the most basic problem is that of blood lineage. There is only one person that can solve that. He is the ancestor himself, the parent himself, Adam himself. Adam is the True Parent. The True Parent is Lord because we have to trace back to the origin to restore. He is the only person who can redirect this blood lineage. The Messiah comes in the capacity of perfected Adam.

As a result of the fall, we must all go back to the original state. When we reach there, we don’t keep on going in that direction, but we go in a new direction, like crossing. In the fallen pattern, we have the individual, family, clan and nation. Now we all go back to the original point of ancestry and change the blood. Then we form the same individual, family and so forth, only with a different blood lineage. The pattern is the same; only the direction is different.

If religion had been very effective; in other words, if the coming Messiah does not receive opposition or persecution, then these would have been formed within seven years, almost automatically, all in one time. But if the world opposes, then it cannot go like that. Instead, he will achieve individual victory and then the family will oppose him. If he attends to the family restoration then the clan will oppose him. If he reaches out and secures the clan then the nation which is surrounding them will oppose him. And then the world will oppose him. The Messiah has to go through lots of difficulty to change the whole thing. And this is what in actuality took place for 20 years and the three seven year courses.

We already know that the world has experienced a victorious day. That year was 1976. At that point the entire world came against me in doing my mission, namely restoring the Heavenly direction. Therefore, within this last 20 years I had to re-indemnify 2,000 years of Christian history, in particular the persecution that the Christians received. This is why the Unification Church has had to go through intense indemnity, just to indemnify what the Christians went through for 2,000 years.

But when the indemnity is fully paid, then there will be no more persecution. This pattern will immediately start taking place. As you know, this is a Satanic world which we’ve been living in. What makes a Satanic world? Satan’s blood, Satan’s tradition, and Satan’s love. In order to leave Satan’s world we have to cut off Satanic blood and Satanic love relationships. How do we do that? The only way is to love God more than we love others: in particular, the Satan related person we’ve been loving. We have all kinds of relationships to fallen descendants. We have to have a stronger tie with God than to any ties we have with Satan. Even in the fallen world if we have a patriotic feeling we have to have a stronger feeling of love toward God.

This is a matter of life and death. There is only one thing that we have to be proud of. Nothing else matters except this very one thing. This very one thing is that we are proud of the new blood relationship of love with God. If you have to do it all by yourself, individually, then you have to fight on the individual level, on the family level and on the next level, the next level and so forth. The Messiah is doing it, but strictly speaking, if each individual is going to get away from the Satanic dominion, then each individual must do that. There is no way of getting around it. Each one must do it, whether he is capable or not.

But in reality, nobody is in that position. Nobody even knows what goes on, let alone be able to fight the individual level, the family level, national level, etc. We can never expect anybody to become successful. God is very much aware of this. His dispensation is that he connects us into the main messianic work. The Messiah does it. So when I received persecution on individual level, the family level, and all the higher levels, it was not an individual matter. It was an historical matter. The persecution that I have received is not for my individual sake but for the entire world that is about to be connected with me.

Only after winning complete victory on the highest level, which is the world level, for the first time we can go to the original point and start in the right direction. The Messiah will have to go around opposition, forming the Unification Church, he will let the Unification Church do everything the Christians were supposed to do to establish the condition to reach clear out of Satan’s domination.

The Unification Church is automatically connected to the individual. family and all the world’s nations; in other words everything is represented here on each level. This is not just the Unification Church but all of religion. Representing all religion is the Unification Church. The Unification Church represents all levels — individual, family, clan, nation and world-as well as all religions. We are in that position, so it is simple to understand that here there is no problem of race or religion because ultimately our purpose is one.

We are going the straightest shortcut; therefore, there are no racial or national boundaries. What are you? What country do you belong to? Who is a Moonie? A Moonie is one who belongs to God and whose work is to indemnify. He is going in God’s direction in order to realize the ideal world and Heaven on Earth. He represents the entire race, the entire country, the entirety of religion, entire everything.

Can an individual do that? No. In order for an individual to reach that, he has to have a family, because

the family is the basic unit. The moment you have a family is literally the beginning, the real beginning. You are not alone. Your family is connected with all the families of the world, including my own family. We are going through the wilderness, going forth to Canaan, not on the national level but on the world level.

We are going exactly the same pattern as Moses did, only Moses was on his clan level and we are going beyond that to the world level. I am leading in Moses’ position and we are all going through the wilderness toward Canaan. So the wilderness is not a civilized land. It is very difficult, if we look back where we used to be, where it was comfortable, where there was some kind of enjoyment. It is just like the exodus going out of Egypt. All the Israelites thought about the old days and then became prey of eagles.

Once we go out of Egypt and go through the wilderness to get to Canaan, Satan is following you and chasing you, trying to catch up with you, trying to kidnap you and discourage you to stop you. If you are looking back or going slowly, then he will catch up, just like Pharaoh’s army. All the evil forces will be following us. But the difference is even though we don’t accomplish, or die in the desert, we have at least someone to bury our dead body. We have that much security. Do you follow? Even though we don’t make it we will still continue and go with the spirit that you must remember that no individual can get to Heaven. You must have your spouse.

There must be a man and there must be a woman; there must be a husband and there must be a wife. There must be Adam and there must be Eve. Not “ne, but two, only two can go together Both husband and wife must be very close along with God. How close? Absolutely close, absolutely inseparable. Stronger than in the Satanic world. Such a family becomes successful, but we have to have stronger ties with God than with each other.

You are going back to where Adam and Eve originated. You are going back to the position of Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve 6,000 years ago. Our real Adam and Eve 6,000 years ago, did they know who was man and who was woman? They were aware of each other. They were just like brother and sister. But how about you? You are the result of the fallen world and living in it. Are you as innocent as Adam and Eve at that time, or do you know already? Then that means that we cannot go to the original position of Adam and Eve, that we cannot go to Heaven.

Even though you do not think like that, even though your conscience is clear and innocent, still Satan comes to claim you, saying, “He has my blood.” We cannot deny that. Even though we do not think like Satan, still our blood belongs to him. There is no way of denying it. What chance do we have? Satan will not let you pass freely, that is for sure. What are we going to do about that? You say you deny Satan. But

Satan, through injecting his blood in us, already has a claim.

How can we get rid of that is the question. But amazing things happen. Without this, we have absolutely no chance of going to heaven. But the Messiah will come and he will sign that you no longer have Satanic blood, but the Messiah’s blood. The Messiah can claim that against Satan. When Satan signed his name in blood, he did it with intense love. So likewise when the Messiah signs his name in blood, he will have to apply more power of love.

The more power of love that is injected in the individual the more he will be deeply conscious of love, love of the parent and love of God. No matter what happens he may forget everything, but he will not forget that. He will connect absolutely with the parents and absolutely with God; eventually, if he is really desperate. On the other hand, the parent will really give strong love. Even if God’s love comes in, it is kind of offset. It. will leave a very, very vague impression.

Let me explain one example. We’ve been living here, always pushed in one direction by a very strong wind. Now there is another very strong wind going against that. It is a heavenly wind, we find ourselves not moving in either direction, but this one is a little stronger, therefore, the former wind is a blood and love wind of Satan’s blind love wind but this one is God’s blood- and love-wind. It is stronger. So you experience that you are drifting to this side just a little bit. It is not like a gust of wind, but just a little. But you are on the heavenly side. You have to make sure that happens. That wind is blowing for sure. Like a sailboat, we will have to be blown by that power that pushes us. But the wind coming from Satan’s direction becomes weaker and weaker because more and more people will realize that God’s wind of blood and love is stronger. In the beginning, it is very small, maybe 5 miles an hour, maybe even 2 miles an hour, but then it comes faster and faster like a typhoon or tornado, maybe 100 or 150 miles an hour. The world will not like the Moonies, but we will have to advance nevertheless to get to the destination. You see that the entire world and entire America are plagued with sex, drugs, and immorality and the lack of will to do something. But despite this misery and confusion, they are no longer the same people. They changed completely into clean individuals, free from drugs, free from sex, free from any undesirable low morality. Yet they keep on going and they work harder for the sake of all America and all the world and for the sake of God they pick up more speed and then everybody else will follow them.

In the beginning, the people in the Satanic world don’t pay attention to us. They think, “Oh, they are an idealistic bunch, I used to be like that.” They mind their own business, but they look up a little further, “Oh, I thought the Moonies were nothing, but they may have something.” They can see that and they look a little further, “Oh, the Moonies are ahead of the world.” They don’t know where they are going, but we know exactly where we are going. So who is faster? You are absolutely faster. They are in the wilderness and we are in the wilderness.

They don’t know where to go in the wilderness, but we know how to pass through the wilderness quickly. When we go confidently, then all the world will follow us. We have a canteen full of water of life. We can always turn to that and never lose power, whereas the world doesn’t have that. To be in that point, strictly speaking, Adam and Eve must be individually perfect. You are in Adam and Eve’s position but are you perfect Adam and Eve now? You are still looking towards perfection. You don’t have to be perfect because there is a privilege with the True Parents’ relationship. When they go to heaven, then the children will go along with them.

Let’s take an example. When Carter became President, he moved into the White House. He had many household people, family and relatives. Are each of them qualified? No. Carter is the only person qualified to be in the White House but anybody else can go with him. Nobody questions it. Likewise, the only value we have in going into heaven is the fact that we are children of the True Parents.

When the True Parents qualify to go into heaven, then they will ask you if you’re a son of the True Parents. But Satan will say, “Go ahead.” He will look into your eyes and say, “your eyes don’t look like your parents’ eyes. And your nose is different from your parents’ nose. You must be from a different lineage.” He will challenge each and every one to discourage you. Then you desperately try, prove it to me that I am not from my parents. But he has no way to prove you are not children of the True Parents. So when you come against Satan, tell him to prove to you that you don’t belong to True Parents.

All families must be grafted into the True Parents’ family. The nation can represent the individual, representing the whole world. Then all things will be connected. This is the way you want to be. So we are about to be grafted to the True Family, not as a mere individual, but as a family, your family representing your clan, your race and your country. In other words, you are the family representing the world.

The tribe is under the world, the clan is under the world, the race is under the world. Since you represent the world everything you represent in between is already included. Would you work one by one and take a long time? Or bring everything into one, as an individual who has connected to everything? How can an individual and a family do that? What qualifications are needed? So when you marry think of the fact that

you represent the world, your nation, your race and your clan. You are an individual, but you are connected to all levels as you are connected to True Parents.

But someone will ask what your qualifications are. Do you have the authority? There is nothing which we did not receive from our original parents. If our parents had not fallen we would have inherited everything. So where can we find those parents? We cannot find them in a palace. We cannot find them in any historical place. But there is a place where we can find the parents. That is what we must look for. Then where is that place? The True Parents are at the center of the Kingdom of Heaven. A man of the highest place. Have you ever stopped to think about what I am telling you now? Itis like a dream. But does it have real content, or is it just a story?

You are quite different people. You are not like the people to be found in the world. All the dirty things, unnecessary things, are washed clean. Our brain has been washed of Satan’s blood and Satan’s love. The word “blessing,” has so much meaning to it. If you can imagine major surgery, you really almost have to cut your body into pieces to graft it with a new body. It’s like a big change of blood through transfusion in a major operation. The name “blessing” is just like this. But, who does that? God does it. True Parents do it.

An individual cannot be grafted to the True Parents. It automatically means two. There is no True Parent, it is True Parents. Two parents. No one man can or woman can be individually grafted into True Parents. It takes two of you to be grafted to True Parents. In our Divine Principle we have the realization of the four-position foundation.

The realization of the ideal creation of God is a product of the four-position foundation. Have we made the four-position foundation? That four-position foundation is based on God’s love. Who is the one who is sitting right next to you? Some of you have never seen him or her before tonight. A black or a white may be beside you. Maybe he treated you badly one time in the past. Right beside you may be a German. He was your enemy only a few days ago, but now he sits as a friend. You are about to love him or her more than anybody else, only next to God. You are about to love them more than their own parents who gave them birth and raised them up for 20, 30, 40 years.

Some of you might think, “Well, I used to know a woman.” “I used to know a man who was better than the person sitting next to me.” Can you ever think like that? You have all sorts of miscellaneous connections to the past. You may try to compare each one. “Oh, this person is not as good as he or she used to be.” Can you say that? Then you will try very hard to think, “I remember there was a time when a man caressed me, but that must have been a dream. I was in love with someone, but it was not reality.”

This is the way we should think now. At one time you thought it was a serious love, it was a deep love, but now at this point, knowing what we know, all of that was just a dream. Today is more real than what has happened before. This must be more real. Whatever memory we have of the past is not real, but this one is more real. As fast as we forget the past, the better off we are. We have to gradually clear our mind.

Whose eyes do your eyes resemble? They resemble your parents’ eyes. Then you might wonder, “Father’s

eyes are black, but my eyes are blue. How can blue eyes come out of black eyes?” But don’t pay so much attention to that your Father’s eyes are round and so your eyes are round. Your parents’ eyes are under the eyebrows and so your eyes come under the eyebrow. Your eyes have a nose in between, and so do your parents. You can see that there is more resemblance than difference.

Is there anything else to say? All of my life I have been sitting on the floor, not in a chair, so you are sitting on the floor too. You eat kimchee because your parents are used to eating kimchee. Eating kimchee you have to perspire. You eat it because your parents eat it. Is your mind taking after mine? You have been following me on the road of suffering. Other parents would not have led you that way, but I did and you didn’t mind it. You understood and were ready to go in that direction. There is so much resemblance there.

Absolutely every part of the world is represented here, 100 countries. In the usual individualistic society, to get married, how long you have to test and try! Now here you are, trusting God with this choice, even with a picture not the person. Satan is flabbergasted. Only after I reminded you what you went through you can understand what a great thing it is. Precisely what’s taking place here will take place in communist countries too. Do you think the Satanic world is now trembling? Indeed. Not only one pair or two pairs but when hundreds of thousands of pairs like this are prepared the Satanic world absolutely has no chance.

Let’s be candid for a second. Who should touch and caress you? Only your husband. You shouldn’t get so close to another man. Even dancing is too close. If your husband says it’s ok, you can go ahead and dance with some other man. But as far as I know, there is no Moonie husband who would agree to it. Who is the one who can caress your husband, your body, your legs? Only the wife. It’s not you who is in control, but your wife. Don’t decide all by yourself, consult with your wife. On something ordinary you don’t have to consult with each other, such as whether or not to love your country, to be filial sons and daughters to the True Parents, or your physical parents. No dummy would ask that to his wife or husband. You do that automatically. If your wife goes shopping and gets a bag full of things and you can find nothing in the bag for you, but only for your father and mother, should you mind?

Of course you shouldn’t. But if she buys only for herself, then it’s not so good. Even though she didn’t buy anything for you, but bought everything for everybody else except you, then you have to be grateful for that. If she goes shopping and buys only for her own good and you, and buys nothing for your parents, then such a wife should be scolded. Mother occasionally goes shopping and I am kind of expectant what she will buy. She always comes with an armful of shopping bags but everything is for the family members and other members. Sometimes as a surprise I get a present. It doesn’t make me unhappy. It makes me in fact, happy. And I am really proud inside.

This is a serious time, so now you know how to live. Each woman is in Eve’s position, but not as an individual. Each one is not by herself. All the women are holding on tight with Mother. You are connected to the families, clans, races and nations; and even to the world. You are hanging on to Father, one in unity with Mother so much that if someone would cut you off, your hands would not let go. You have to be absolutely seriously one. If you get cut off, you will grow it back.

Maybe that is the ideal. An old man would like to be cut off once in a while so he can grow back new and never get old. So if someone cuts my leg off to discourage me, I wouldn’t mind. I’d rather have my leg off, because the leg is going to grow again. So we must demonstrate, we must really feel and demonstrate that Moonies have the power of life, stronger than anything else one has ever imagined. Your life vitality will be strongest. Nobody can catch up with you. From now on you have to have vitality and a will to live. Live well.
