Don't Be Too Oriented Toward Spirit World Or Be Person Who Is Ignorant Of It

Who is the oldest brother her, oldest by age? How old? 35? 34? 33? How about sisters? Who is the oldest? 30? How old are you?

Who can sing? Who is the best singer here, Father asks. Come here. (A sister prepares to sing.) ‘I will sing a Japanese song. I have heard that Father and Mrs. [Won Pok] Choi like this song. It is an old Japanese song.’ (Sister sings - afterwards a brother sang Arirang. Another brother sings the Holy Song, ‘Blessing Of Glory’. And yet another brother sings the Heart Of My Country, a sister sings a Korean song, a brother sing Shenandoah. A sister sings Song Of The Spring Breeze.)

Can somebody give a witnessing testimony? A testimony about what one feels after coming into our church and being with us and Father for as long as we have and how we changed and so forth. Would anybody like to come and talk? What about the hippie experience. People who have gone through the Hippie stages? (Laughter) Could you talk a little bit about that and of course you can compare the life that you felt. (Sister begins to talk).

‘I used to live on the West Coast in Portland, Oregon. And I loved the West Coast very much because it is a very free spirit and there is lots of trees and lots of country. I was going to College there but the people in College they didn’t say hello to each other, even though we had the same classes and would see each other every day, there was no effort of the students to get to know each other so I just had maybe one or two friends.

I used to be Catholic and I used to live in York, and when I was about sixteen I decided that I couldn’t go to confession anymore because the things that I was saying in confession I wasn’t sorry for. I didn’t feel that I had done anything against God. So I stopped going to confession, I stopped going to Mass and I shut off the church completely. And then, then I began to try to understand, ‘How can I exist? How can this world exist?’

I was so amazed for maybe four years. Then I came to America and at College I met many different kinds of people. Some of them were influenced by Eastern philosophy - Yoga or Ashrams, you know, and meditation. I was very attracted to those people. I saw that they had a very kind of spirit they were seeking or something but they didn’t seem to care about me or I was

too shy to ask something from them and they didn’t want to give anything. So they just went their way. I went to many different kinds of meetings, like Hare Krishna and Transcendental Meditation.

I even went back to the Catholic Church once because I was so desperate to find someone that knew… something. Finally I started having give and take with people who were taking drugs, Marihuana mostly. Most of the young people there had tried it, it was considered pretty common. So at first I didn’t want to have anything to do with it. But after a while my best friend offered me some and then I had some and I like it very much. It made me feel very good. It made me feel like I was united with Creation more and I was more united with people. I thought more easily I could love them. So I began to smoke a lot, but for me it wasn’t just something physical it was something spiritual and I loved to be with people. I loved it when I was doing that. It is kind of like any habit like taking a cup of coffee or taking a walk with people you love. It became a very beautiful thing for me.

But after a while I couldn’t learn any more from that and I realized that it was just showing me something that I had to achieve by myself without anything artificial. Then I read a lot of books and I read that people even centuries ago had come to the same conclusions I was coming to. We didn’t know why we were on this planet. Why we exist. Man just doesn’t know what’s going on or how to love. So I read one book that made connections between all the ideas of cosmic consciousness and Transcendental Meditation and also LSD and psychedelic drugs. It was saying that we can somehow experience true reality by working on ourselves though many lifetimes. They believed in re-incarnation. So I thought about doing…The sister continues to give her testimony.

(After the testimony Father asks if the sister still has a question. She asks how she can feel Father if the movement is so big and she is not in the presence of Father.)

(Father answers) In the religious life, after you understand you have to experience. Many of the things we understand we actually have to experience. Sometimes people just don’t catch the right idea because ideas and feelings are two different things. They are close but not quite the same. We have to experience everything we think. Do you understand? Sometimes people feel hollow as if something is lacking, something is wanting. Even right after you are very sorrowful and very sad if you for instance have gone through extreme emotional upset, right after that, you feel sort of hollow inside. It is the same with happiness.

Sometimes you feel very happy but the next moment you feel the same feeling of hollowness. How to fill up that hollowness is the question. It is an important to understand that it is very normal to feel like this even though many people are not aware of it. It is normal because no matter how high a mountain is you cannot get higher than to the top. Then once you have come to the highest peak you have to come back down. You then come all the way down but never below the bottom of the valley and then where there is no further you can go down, you will start climbing up again. It is the same with sadness and happiness. How to manage all the kinds of feelings between these two extremes - that is the question. We have to be able to manage this through our daily life. All our feelings both the physical feelings and the conceptual feelings have to be connected to the spiritual world, which is the eternal world.

We have to balance it. We should not be too spiritually oriented but a person who is very little spiritually oriented is not good either. We have to maintain the balance between our understanding of the spiritual world and the world we are living in here and now. Sometimes man finds himself in a serious situation in a very serious state of mind but even in that seriousness and right after he feels this hollowness, he feels something unsatisfied, something wanting. This happens because he was not connected to the spiritual world, the eternal world, at the time of encountering that seriousness. That is why he feels this constant hollowness. Many people come to this point of seriousness in their life which is a very good thing because it marks the entrance to the real understanding. But unfortunately people don’t go beyond that one line.

If people would go beyond that line then they would be well connected to the spirit world but they don’t do that. They come right here and then they turn around and go back. That is what everybody does. Many people lead ordinary lives but once in a while they become very serious. That seriousness is a good opportunity to be connected to the eternal spirit world. But as people somehow don’t see the reality of that they don’t get connected to the spirit world and turn back. And it takes quite some time before they come to this seriousness again. So coming to this seriousness in mind is a good opportunity whereby the world of mind is opened but people usually don’t get it opened they rather miss that door and come back. The fact that you know that God exists, that our Father exists, helps a great deal in pushing ourselves a little further and getting connected with Him. And of course, everyone had a good opportunity to understand you (speaking to the sister) because you spoke out. You are one among a variety of people.

In other words everyone is different in many ways so you have to choose your own way, something

which is adequate to your own being and your own characteristics. We can say that you have to actually begin to learn to listen to the talk of the mind, not just to talk in general. The relationship is something like this; we have to be receptive with both our antennas, both our radios. One of the antennas is the antenna of the spirit body connected to the spirit world, the other antenna is the antenna connected to the physical world. What is happening now is that these antennas are not in harmony. We have to gradually synchronize them and make their wavelengths similar so that everything we feel spiritually will actually resonate with the physical reality and then everything will be felt in a dynamic, powerful way. Gradually we need to learn how to do that. Along these lines you have to adjust yourself, you have to learn how to harmonize the spiritual feeling and the physical feelings so they will harmonize.

Furthermore it is very valuable to understand that the moment of loneliness the moment of hollowness is a solemn moment where you are closest to the world of the mind. The pursuit of truth does not takes place in dance halls, gay atmosphere or just happy moments. Not at all. Rather when you are really deep and serious even miserable or hurt that is exactly the ideal moment where you learn the truth and where you catch the truth. At that moment of truth you will find yourself in one deep place quite contrary to what worldly people are doing. They are happy when they are happy. We can illustrate this in this way. Compare yourself to the tip of a needle, very sharp and covering a very small area. This is a physical example, but spiritually it is the same thing. Spiritually you have to bring your expose surface area into another expose surface area which is not big either, which is as small as you.

By pure chance you have to meet each other. When it happens and how you do is the whole question but once it does there comes an explosive power. That’s when you realize everything. At that moment you feel as if you are being electrocuted and electricity just runs through your body. Your entire body is shocked, you become aware of everything and all the good explosive power comes in. This should be an ordinary thing. Everybody is different, though. The extent they experience, how they experience and how often they experience this is all different. We don’t understand the taste of certain foods because our father or mother told us ‘this is going to taste so and so.’ And we know, they are not going to explain us either. Rather we eat and we understand. It is the same thing spiritually.

Nobody is going to explain how God is. You will have to experience God and taste God yourself. Then you know without anybody explaining to you. That is very important and necessary. Nobody is going to teach these things because you have to experience them yourself. Originally it wasn’t that difficult. Difficulties arose because of the Fall. Now our problem is; where am I going to find this small avenue where I can be connected to God? This is what we have to do. When our mind and body really becomes harmonized we can actually hear what our mind says, what our mind feels. It is as if our mind is broadcasting a wave throughout our life but unfortunately not even once do we hear it through our physical ears.

If a person would experience this voice of the mind once twice or three times then he or she would know exactly how to live. When you hear the mind’s voice then you know since you already heard which way you are going. And when you are determined which way you are going then your mind sort of starts reconnoitering around already. It goes around and sees the fields and checks out if it is good here or there. In this way your mind tells you beforehand where your going is right and wrong. It is extremely mysterious and mystique. Indeed, it is a mysterious world. When a radio wave is correctly adjusted to the right frequency then it just flows in and makes a voice. It is the same thing when we have this attitude then this voice comes in like this wave is coming in We are drawn to that object. Through this feeling is the very beginning of the entire life of value of human value we start feeling value from there.

So even when we sleep we shouldn’t sleep after being happy and being joyful and going right back to sleep that is not the way. It is no good. What we have to do after we have that feeling then we have to come back around and pray - dispose of all that and then go back to sleep. So we all must live on the very boundary line of the mind and body. We should not be drawn to much to the mind nor too much to the body. And no theory has told Father this but Father felt that even Transcendental Meditation and all this deep experience of Buddhist life the way they pray in this way is expressing this very thing let my mind and body be completely united and also make I stand right at the border so that I won’t be here and I won’t be there. We have two eyes but then from what do we start seeing things. We don’t see everything at one time. We start from one original point and then begin to see. We start seeing when our two eyes are focused wherever that may be. That is the very beginning of our seeing and then gradually we expand our perception.

This is how you see. You cast your eye and then the eyesight where you focus that very point is the origin of your seeing. And then gradually expand its realm. Even in the physical seeing that is. If you see that mountain that meadow. Like breathing you think breathing is so crude but not so. We may think that we breathe here (Father illustrates) but not so. When the two nostrils will draw the air in it meets here or there and it makes a difference. It had better be the right place they meet then the whole body breathes this harmoniously but slight deviation then the breathing become not so effective. It is the same thing. Seeing thinking is the same. Singing. When we see some good singing then we enjoy ourselves. It is like this. When you hear the singing it is so harmonious and it gives you the wide area of the resounding you

feel you are automatically forward into that the wider that spectrum is the more we can enjoy it is the same thing. So we have to have that wider common area with a person with another person and within ourselves wide and deep common area between two persons.

The overlapping area is the area of commonness the understanding and love. Like the people when we meet outside people. One time they are good but then after some time it may not last for too long. It’s the same way too. You start feeling the lasting value here. We may have come to one commonness but then it is not lasting. But to compare to that, Even we ourselves even our mind and body meets then is gives you such a more intense and lasting pleasure than the deepest pleasure you ever had with the contact with other people because that was only in one side so to speak whereas mind and body here is the complete one is one lasting plane certain. Since we were not meeting the people with that as a basis then temporarily we may feel something which seems to be nice but it doesn’t last long. And it doesn’t even give you the recurring memory either because it is just passing away. This is probably what you have experienced.

Repeatedly you start listing to your own mind. We will start analyzing ourselves even. When I see from where do I begin to see? From where? In other words when we see something when we feel something when we think about something. Then what is the focusing point? From what point do I start feeling things do I start thinking things. Is it when our mind and body is like (illustrating) that then of course it is not so well focused. Only when it is focused well when it is one like that then it becomes a better focus we have to always estimate ourselves which way to how much extent my mind and body is one So we must admit that we have many experiences of sorrowfulness and goodness and happiness. then we have to re estimate that one by one the mayor highlights of our past life. One by one rule out. With what criteria with what basis? We always have to set the criteria into one absolute criteria the one thing that I really like that I really want is just one, nothing else.

In other words the happiness towards each individual the one absolute happiness only one likeness something you like most you must have it all the time. While you are eating you think about that, Oh! Without this I cannot exist! And while you are doing something and then you immediately go to that thinking Oh without this I would never exist. That likeness that something is only one and we have to determine what it is and have the criteria start from there the value from there. So it is not more than one it is not two it is only one that we. So the complete frequency the rightly adjusted frequency is only one. It just doesn’t vary this way or that way. When our mind and our body become one that particular moment when our mind and body become one that frequency of the wave is only one. Same thing. What I like most is only one.

What I cannot do without is only one. When you experience this when you really grasp this: this is it, this is what I cannot do without this very one once you determine that then everything starts from that point. You start from the standpoint of that experience that being then you will think everything in terms of that then you are right. So we have to have that deep experience after joining church. That very deep experience we go through is common to all of us, But whatever that is nobody can explain that nobody can describe it. Each individual that is his own feeling. He alone have experienced that deep feeling. The same thing. There is a hundred ham sandwiches here and everyone eats a peace but do you think all the taste is all the same to each individual or is it different? Different. I myself alone know that taste. Nobody else taste the same as I do. So nobody knows God more than I do.

Because when our mind and body is so completely one and grasp God know God there then he or she alone knows God. Learning this all through out and it Logically it is so clear now when we compare to this explaining when the mind and body becomes one there God exists. This is the actual situation how it happens. It is not a conceptual thing it is not a reasoning. It is not anything. It is true feeling, it is actually happening this way and when you explain it the way it is explained in the divine principle book. We have to realize that there are two different kinds of desires within us. Of course we think what body desires most part no not at all our mind’s desire is even stronger. Only that sense the body. How body goes short distance and jigged and this way zig zag but our mind goes around in round motion and more straight. It is very difficult for the path of the body and the path of the mind to meet each other. So we have to try really hard. But by successful moment when our mind and body meet in one. Just imagine happy what kind of fantastic thing can happen. To tell when you have that experiences that when you are feeling like exactly when you feel like floating around on air. If you have that feeling then be assured that your mind and body have met. When you are going to experience that will remain a question until the time you experience that. So when you go out witnessing and go through a deep experience are you going to experience that? Possible.

So therefore we must really try everything and try really seriously from the bottom of our heart, go business, go politicking, the charity whatever. Try really hard to search for the meeting place between mind and body. This is why we have to try many things. Your mind is constantly directed toward that much stronger than you realize. It just goes around and it constantly tries to tell you the general direction to which your life must be directed. It is constantly doing that so us by acting in that neighborhood find out what it is. So generally speaking in actual circumstances the human mind is more or less this way

straight but the body has really went around over 6000 years. Because of the fall the parents, the unprincipled desire their own not so legal desire, want to do this and want to do that they really tried everything that they wanted to do what the body wanted to do. So to untangle this to trace back to go back to the original place where they started, it’s very difficult, it is complicated. Do you understand. But nevertheless we have to make them meet this our whole purpose of everything. Once we meet then every question is solved in one kind. We don’t have to try to understand God, because it is there.

Nobody will have to explain not even yourself will have think hard you already know, instantly know what is best for you. What is your mind is best for you. So your mind will take you where it is best for you. But now we are having a difficult time to be like that because our body does not correspond to this keen speaking of mind. So this is where the problem actually lies, to every one of us. Now If the great preposition of the Fall is true, do you think you can understand although we don’t feel acutely or don’t actually experience what it is? Do you think we can understand this general description of what it has to be? Again we will have to listen our mind talk, no matter how difficult it is. What our mind speak it cannot be heard where there is a great big band and great big dance and happiness and people just cheering. No. It is quite an opposite place. We can find. Then how do we find where our mind is? We have to really go to a serious situation. The serious situation where your life is at stake. Where the whole thing is there. We have to go through that. That seriousness that desperation.

Then and only then do we understand what our mind speak. All right, let us begin from the very beginning. What is Father to you? What is Father going to do to all of us? To all of mankind? In one expression, Father is trying to connect your mind and body into one. Some people Father has no problem of connecting he can connect them with a big robe, some people Father will have to find a strong hair thin being to fight to connect his mind and body. That difficult and that sensitive. After your joining the Unification Church and like she has well described most classically described become completely one with Father just love utmost beyond everything love Father it will be so natural and right behind Father like a great big and thick wall all behind is the entire spirit world right at Father.

So by loving Father, by liking Father so much, man’s mind spiritual being goes on jumping, jumping, jumping over and higher and higher in an extremely short period of time, the entire spiritual world is connected to him or her. After experiencing that then the revelation the dream the profound experience you get from one time to another, just time or twice is enough, that keeps coming on whenever there is some crisis in me keeps coming on. That becomes the central thought of ourselves, we will have thought by that time. Do you understand? So by that happening once or twice and we keep realizing that and two or three years many years then we become. So when we experience that then our mind cries out oh I want to see Father I want to see Master and you can hear that not almost hear that but you can hear that, physically. Sometimes you are aghast you are so surprised to learn so real and so sensitive our mind works towards us. So strong too.

We are surprised at that. And actually we are having much time and we walk in the street and just meet Father right in the street and this is because when he feel that strong enough its somehow works draws Fathers antenna that day that the path may connect to each other. And this phenomenon the world calls brainwashing, brainwashing. They try to figure out, but they cannot figure out so they say brainwashing. So it’s a ‘fall washing’ it is not the brainwashing but the fallen quality is washed out. So it is a fallen quality washing, rather than brainwashing. So the more this fallen nature is washed the more the true self and true thought of Father flows into everyone and he becomes more constant and more constant and more and more occupied by true thought and more and more excavation from old self. This is what is taking place. Once one person realizes and comes right on the track then he want to see Father regardless of what it is so strong an urge to see Father to love him, then this barrier goes out then all of a sudden the spirit world opens out. All in one time, do you understand. That means that is the area where you don’t have to do very much you just sit down you understand everything. What you want to know all you have to oh I want to know this then answer is already flowing in like that.

He knows who is coming that day what is going to happen that day. We have an example of this. The spiritually inclined people spiritually sensitive people, spiritually c communicating people even of very low grade even them will come into the church and properly oriented to much the same process as we are going through, to Father, very soon, they come right through and spiritually communicate. They know who Father is and how they have to do to Father and kind of service what their mission is everything in one time. Now look at you, after two years of studying real deep theology, you don’t come anywhere near there! Because these all help but it is not the essence itself. Actually the theology you learned is much more for the service of saving other people who speak the same language, but it is not of direct service to save yourself.

Do you understand? When we understand how difficult it is, or how valuable it is what kind of sheer chance it is to see Father in the dream. Just one time once we saw Father in the dream how rare it is, then we begin to see the value. It is not easy. This experience doesn’t happy very easily, while we are in an easy life or comfortable or life of no challenge, then it doesn’t happen so easily, but when we go to the front line like witnessing. So when you lose the nation and you are so desperate crying out for the nation

that desperation when you are about to lose somebody valuable or when you are in danger of losing somebody your desperation so much and you want to save that person so much and you want to love him so much you feel in dear desperation then in that area of desperation Father will move right into you, right next to you.

But not in ordinary circumstances. So this is why every opportunity Father would like to get he would like to make it to help you to get into the serious situation, the desperate situation. Not if I can’t do this I would that and that. Not that situation.. If I don’t do this what else, I won’t be. This desperate situation father would like to drive you into so that you will experience this. Imagine it if everything is ideal and flourish you would never have that opportunity so when everybody is persecuting against you and even trying to threaten you in many ways you now you are in a desperate situation everybody goes against our movement about Father that desperate situation you find you find yourself in truly not evadingly, truly that is so valuable because you will have attained your purpose, your mind will meet the answer, Father will move right in. This is why Father wants to drive you to that situation head on, straight forward. And spirit world is sort of leaving this whole position alone, because it world for us not against us. Under that persecution still we want original being original direction if we hang unto it, then presto spirit world opens up.

This is what Heaven want, what Father wants, what everybody wants. So we all agree that it is not bodily things we would like to pursue isn’t that right? It is spiritual things we would like to pursue. This is what all men must go through no matter what their position. You actually don’t want Father who explains this to you or actually it is not bad. In other words if you are able to explain by language then that means that can be created that is no problem. It is not that. It’s the area where nobody can explain it that is why everyone of us become precious and valuable. We have to find that. That is the area we are searching. In other words we experience Father that is the main thing not listen to Father oh I understand father and then understand, not that experience, do you understand? No explanation actually is necessary just to make sure we may say a few words to explain, but that is all. God nobody has to explain God to understand Him.

We experience God. Explanation can go so far but our direct feeling is more above that. We need that God, therefore we have to experience, do you understand? In particular situation maybe this is necessary, but not in eternity, not every time, not every successional movement we can’t explain everything. God loves us and lives with us all the time. Father is very mystique to understand. In one word generally if it is difficult to understand it is because of this. If we devote much time and devote much effort and devote much heart to understand Father, to pray about Father and pray for Father even, then so much we become closer to Father, to the spirit world. And that is Father’s patent, that’s God given heaven given privilege only to Father, only to Father, absolutely to no one else being in the world except Father has that privilege of the people going through Father go to heaven. Do you understand?

Devoting lots of attention love to Father then we go to heaven in spirit world. So this is what we have to achieve while we have a physical body. We have to better achieve it here with the body so that when we all go to spirit world, then we can stay as close as we do now to Father, but once this is not achieved Father says, you will stay far away from Father, just as you are now, he says! Just as far you are now to Father. You can’t even go to him. You don’t want to go to him because you cannot go to him. Now look at everyone in the Unification Church in the world. Every one of the members in the world, all of them and every one of them, Father is everything to them, Father is everything to them. Father is not just a part of their life, no. Father is everything, do you feel exactly the same way? If you don’t that is where you stay. Actually we will be able to feel that by grasping Father, I am grasping the entire world, whereas now we don’t feel that way do we? Every one of you feel that real feeling that not trying to grasp here and grasp there, but just grasp Father and then you are grasping all the universe.

Are we feeling that? Or every Unification Church member in the world are doing that? If they are far away by body, so much closer even by spirit. This is what is happening. That relationship. And this is naturally happening. Why is this naturally happening? So that our mind and body will become closer, through Father. Can we feel it is necessary? That our mind and body become completely one? By the time when you feel that Father and all the universe will balance in its value. In other words one Father is more valuable than the entire universe, not only by concept but really. When we feel that then we have relative value, the same value. When we feel that, that value in Father, then in a relative sense as an object we grow towards that value also, because we are the object of Father. This kind of relationship. Can you understand that? Why and how it takes place? Then why it is so? We have to realize, we have lost something valuable. What is that most valuable is the world of mind, we have already lost.

We have to clearly understand otherwise we will not understand. So when Father is able to give a prayer in English, then all of our life will become a lot easier. The spirit world will become so much closer in such a short period of time. This is already proven in the Korean Church. In Korea when Father spoke and after he spoke when he gave an intensive prayer, everyone literally everyone had a spiritual experience. They knew everything, they didn’t have to think. They don’t understand Father by reasoning or by learning a lot of things, actually some were even illiterate. They could not understand a word. They did

speak but not even read. So many has mentioned that I don’t know who Father is and I don’t care, I like him and I love him. When he goes to hell I will go there, I don’t care what it is. And then he doesn’t know complicated things. With this criteria, how far are we? Probably as far as from New York to San Francisco! There is three hours’ time difference. So you have to jump over the three hour time difference zone before you are able to meet Father. That is an exact analogy.

Now we know the relationship of mind and body or begin to at least, don’t we? What Father is trying to do is only one thing: how Father will bring mind and body of each individual of our members to a short distance. Since many people wanted to become one with Father like that the internal world is achieved in Korea with Father. It has been achieved. Now Father is controversial in America. It is the way it ought to be. What really matters in this country is Rev. Moon, do you understand? Already it has been established revealed and established in spirit world, in the religious world, Rev. Moon is the top, he is the One.

This is already known. Now even many signs begin to getting close to Rev. Moon, begin to understand Rev. Moon. Do you see some of the signs? The newspapers, mass media. They thought they were opposing Father and tried to not accept Father in the society, but now they know, what they did was completely reversed and now they cannot oppose Father any longer, because they cannot find any reason to oppose Father. They actually start feeling, who made Rev. Moon famous? It was us! But what they get was nothing, that is what they are feeling. Actually they have tried so much and have done so much and Rev. Moon has become twice of what they put in, but then they are not getting anything, this is what they are feeling. Father kind of felt that in the beginning. If you oppose you will end up like that and sees that. The sign is already clear. Do you feel the sign like that too? Have you seen Father worry because all the people of America oppose him? Then how is it humanly possible, when everybody opposes him, if someone oppose you, he follows you? That is because our eyes see limited vision, you know. We see only our field, but Father sees longer, the future and also the larger environment.

Father can see the place of it. Many people will say oh we sure bothered you so much and how can you survive but actually this has very little to do in fact. Father really is not worried a lot, even if somebody would incarcerate Father into prison for instance Father knows that in a few years, in no time at all they will have with their own hands to bring Father out with a (?) protocol. This is how he doesn’t worry. Do you understand? Imagine yourself. Now you are close to Father and doing singular work, but suppose you are responsible all by yourself for one country and Father is far away and you cannot even consult with him. How would you do? You would find yourself in desperation. Really in desperation and heart broken and everything, disappointed. What can you do with that kind of weak faith? Then the only thing you would have to do is you’ll have to listen what your mind say, then maybe you can go forward. Originally speaking man does not need a leader. In other words if man did not fall, he would not have…. Why doesn’t a man need a leader? It is very simple and obvious. Because man goes through the path of love and is led by love, now who is going to explain what love is? Love is something we feel.

Do we learn about love at all at school as a subject or as math? The mathematics of all the explanations so this is love! Does somebody teach that? Have you ever that somebody even tried to do that? Experiencing surpasses goes higher beyond the explanation, so the explanation is not necessary. We feel directly. So when we feel directly, why explain. Since love is experience we don’t need any explanation or education. So that means no education is necessary about God, because we already live with Him. The birds are seeking the love aren’t they? Were they taught how to do that? They are born with it. Likewise man was. So conclusion again is religion is not learning like we are trying to learn. No. We have to experience by ourselves on our own accord. So these agnostics Harvard and Rubinstein, Mr. Kim has just reported to Father, they try to figure they try to explain what God is. But Father realizes they can but only a small portion of God, which is very nominal, very insignificant. They don’t know that God is to be experienced not just thought. Where is God? The Divine Principle teaches the same thing where is God.

God exists between the complete subject and object. When they have good give and take, then there is God. But without love we cannot understand God. It is the same thing. There is no unity when there is no subject and object. Likewise when there is no love there is no God. Do you understand now? Is your mind and body one? You? So that is a problem. So the individual is problem written, he is full of problems and that problem is only this one thing. Now the people try so many things and free sex and they try everything to see to try to find God but we know the answer is so clear, they can’t find God that way.

If try sex then how much value do they understand about sex. That is the whole thing. When they do not think it is valuable, then how can they find something valuable doing things which are not valuable? Love is only to be experienced but even when we experience how much by concept do we know the value of it, this is the thing. Since love is the value of the universe such a high value is love but actually the people who are in love does not think they are in that value. So it is like dogs running around. Because dogs do the act of love but no value they feel.

If a man behaves like that the same as an animal, then where is he going to find heaven? We know that we find heaven through man and through woman. We already know that. But that sense of value is all broken in the individual. So how can that individual find value without rehabilitating themselves back to

the original. So we have by concept to realize Satan really tried with all of his bad wisdom against God to ruin mankind to this lowest grade. We have to know that fact. By love, by misuse of love Satan brought mankind to this lowest feeling and lowest realization about love. We have to realize that. So God was badly successful.

To the extent that man now think even they can live without God. That God actually is not needed anymore. Chase God completely out. This is what Satan has made the people do. And Rev. Moon comes by and completely turns this upside down. Teaches man the original value and each individual trying to correct themselves up repair themselves up for the first time and they are successful too, this is what is happening now. Some people even now find some distance from Father, don’t you. Sometimes you are even afraid of me which is absolutely out of question. Sometimes your mind is sort of suppressed like that. That is why. Why is this? Because I am going in one direction and Father is on the another.

So we are oppressed. Like when there is a call then we see the prickles come out. same thing. Since we are going the reverse way to Father then we feel fear. Then we can understand. We can sort of deduce that, oh I am going the wrong way. If it is not the same way why is it not faith? You see this kind of logic, can be very simple. To be adopted. So you see it is absolutely necessary that we must go through the stronger onset of purity once again stronger only stronger before we can be restored back to the world of love. Do we understand? We have to have this. If we don’t feel that strong sense of onset of love then we cannot go to the high realm of love. Actually we have to be quite confident in this field before we even start thinking about blessing. But look at you now.

What happens? People even less than three years after joining, they are waiting for the third year to get blessed, not knowing the value of the blessing.. These people asking to getting blessed will have difficulties. Father is trying everything taking every opportunity to give you stimulation enough to turn ourselves completely around. This Unification Church is the only place in this wide world where the really loving couple in the outside world, they really fell in love, and they cannot leave each other without each other. One week after they get married, they listen about Father and the Unification Church, they give that up and are able to come into the Unification Church. How? Because of the stronger love. And this place had better have that stronger love otherwise it is not true isn’t? This is what the Unification Church is. How difficult even comprehend even fallen category to give up their own sons and daughters which they loved so many years they give up and they just put in the orphanage and they come right into the church live in the church. This happens so many times it is commonplace in the Unification Church. What happens as a result is that people blame Father for that, you see. Everyone they give up their parents they give up their children they give up their lovers and then they join the church for their sake.

What happens, you can easily imagine how else can you imagine? Man and wife are greatly in love one of them listens to Divine Principle and Father, then they give up the spouse, they come right in, you see because their spirit knows that they have to submit to the better love to the greater love before they can be restored, they know that. Then what happens to this husband? He says Father lured them and go out to the world saying that and then other people will believe in that and oppose Father. This is the very beginning of the opposition to Father. That has not broken its chain going on and on still. Actually Father doesn’t give you intense blessings now these days, in other words in the form of prayer. But if he does like he used to in Korea, in the original church, in the early church then you cannot even stay some place far indifferent. Your mind is just drawn like a magnet. You come to Father all the time, 24 hours.

You cannot help but doing that. If Father give you intense prayer that would happen but Father does not give intense prayer like that anymore. This is why you can be somewhat indifferent as some of you are now. Do you understand? So Father is the owner or the Master of that mysterious power, drawing power. Father has that. So it is not brainwashing it is the power of love. Do you understand? So where on earth can we find some percussion, some stimulus enough so that I can regenerate stronger onset of our getting into the adulthood that sense of love.

So only way can recharge. In a common criteria especially for women, for three years they had better, they should actually become acceptable cry for Father because she miss him so much, at least more than three years before they original type of mind be restored. Are you all that way? At least three years and more than three years we have to cry for Father. This is where we have to be. But if the people who are here, but without that then that is the reason enough to be repentant and to try once more back again harder enough for three years. And if you really really want to know the truth and become one with Father if you really do that then God cannot help but accepting that prayer. He will make this happen. So it is not us who are making it, it is Father who will do that for us. Man is the same way. Even men they should miss Father more than they miss the all-time lover that you cannot forget.

Actually the only way you can forget is that you love Father more. And without doing that you will never be able to go anywhere. So that is the only way open to the fallen man to go back to God, to become a royal citizen to God to Heaven and to become the son of filial piety, to become the original way. Only way. To become like a disciple stronger disciple stronger disciple more faithful disciple than any written history records. We have to be stronger than that otherwise we cannot go through that barrier. Are the

men that way now? Men for three years cried for Father missing Father, More than anybody else? If they reach short of that then he cannot expect to go beyond the barrier. So what happen if he doesn’t reach there. Maybe he reaches only here. That is where he is going to stay in the spirit world. Or maybe that’s much reward he is going to get when time comes. And Father doesn’t want that.

Father wants you to inherit everything. The true Unification Church members, original Unification Church members are unworthy ones and common ones or spiritually communicating people. No exception. This is what Father intends to do now. We have hundred people here, not one man should be the exception for that. All hundred will meet this criteria and pass through. This is why Father really is going to put you into desperation. We’ll say now Father but how? We have to understand Father first and the love. How can we understand? Well, when we go and suffer we know then for the first time, Oh Father has been doing that all throughout his life, he did that. We understand that. Then we become so closer with him. We have to have a real feeling that Father had to go through in witnessing in standing on persecution and even building the economic foundation like this all for the purpose of bringing ourselves each one of ourselves to cross the line and into God. Only thing Father has done through that.

So without us actually going through that how can we understand Father and be thankful for that? So this is why we have to go through the same way as Father in the past all his life. Do you understand? Father is also desperate to do his part of responsibility, to provide you with these circumstances to give you the knowledge so that you act. If you don’t, even God what can He do? Even Father what can he do? Then one day you will go to spirit world and say, Father you haven’t taught that to me. Like here are you here because I told you to be here or did you come on your own accord? Of course we all came on our own accord.

That in itself is a great thing because God chose that big. So by suffering even by going through suffering we will feel the situation of God and the situation of God. This is the whole purpose of doing difficult things and suffering. Do you understand? When we say, no, I won’t do that then the alternative is, we don’t understand Father, we don’t understand Master. So now we have learned much but it is not so essential. The more essential thing is when we go through this then we get all round result. But when we don’t go through this, then maybe what we have learned will work against because we think we know but not actually it. Eve Father himself is always bringing utmost reminiscent. He values it most of his great days of suffering. Mother keeps saying to Father, that Father rest a little but Father feels talking in this way more comfortable because he is now doing his work, when he rest he is not doing his work. Like yesterday, Father only slept after two o’clock in the morning after talking to Japanese members and after they left, Father slept.

Get up at four o’clock in the morning and before that so it is at most two hours sleeping. That is the only sleep he had yesterday or the day before. When Mother says, Father you rest a day, she stands to reason. Then why Father live that kind of life? Because when Father work that great difficulty and suffering Heavenly Father really comes and comforts Him and he knows that very taste. And since that taste compares to nothing, Father keeps on doing this. When Father goes to fishing it is not because Father enjoys fishing or get lot of fish and then enjoy eating fish. Of course not. When is casting is casting his line and wait for the moment that one crucial moment, that feeling Father values most, this is why. Every thought he can concentrate on that point. There he can forget much of the greater responsibility, just he is able to concentrate on one thing. Get the work done so quickly. And Father likes that loves that.

That is why he goes fishing. So when he sits on like this, many afternoon or the moment of sunset, Father had experiences in the past very valuable experiences. It keeps coming to him. It is so valuable that he can sit and talk to you much the same way. And many times Father forgets if it is morning or evening. Dusk or dawn sometimes Father forget which side it is. Day or night Father doesn’t have particular time, when he devotes himself. Father often did that too. For up to two weeks he has been fishing and Father no fish, not one in two weeks, but Father kept on the line in the water and he didn’t mind because he was yearning that being able to concentrate. The reason Father likes tuna fishing is because Father does not want small fish to bite often. Tuna is a giant, a thousand tons. Once a day one bite a day.

One tuna will bite once a day, Father is content at that moment and all during that time, Father can think. When tuna actually strikes it, the line forgets this spiritual impact or the real thing. And then he wheel it in. By the time he starts wheeling it in, then he feels, oh this is real. Then he brings that fish in. So we all need the prayer too. We have to pray three times more time, than the time we spent for eating three meal a day. Do you understand? If we don’t do that, there is no way to reach that realm. Until Father actually took up his Korea as his capacity, Father never talked anything. Father was famous for not talking to people. He was so silent. He did not even speak one word, all day.

Father felt, what do I accomplish by talking, when I don’t understand all things about life and all the value of life? What relationship is that to me, Father thought. Father is very serious almost all the time. Now Father has been liberated from much of that and he acts so casually and so much like ordinary people. Specially American members will remember that Father one time and for long time, for many years Father didn’t even go near theaters. If he had to go somewhere and he had to pass a theater door, then he

took another way to evade the theater, cinema. Because it restricts him, the thought of there is a good movie playing, even in his young childhood. Everybody know that it is comfortable to ride but Father always used to walk because he was fearing that he wouldn’t be so indulge in comfort. So he kept on walking rather than riding on a vehicle. Especially when you walk a long distance it is a good opportunity to think and meditate, while you are walking until you reach the destination you have nothing but to think. Father walked five miles a day to school one way. In the countryside that is why the primary school is, in a district.

You don’t have a school right in your next door, it is five miles away so you walk, you walk back. But Father keeps on thinking that Father really keep remembering that. Even then Father did most of the major plan of what he will have to do in the future about the world, he did then. And while he was walking back and forth to school every day, Father shed much tears on the way along the way, about what he can expect in the future. And what he can expect of us and all that. He really had much tears. Now none of us have of course so much tearful experience, walking to school. Heavenly Father, God, loves Father very much? Actually, you answer is very simple. What if you would ask that question to God, what would God answer him? Answer you? When Heavenly Father says yes, and we say yes, it that yes going to be the same yes? How different. We can even try to reason then among all of these many religions and religious leaders of history, why just one Rev. Moon, God loves him so much? And maybe we can give some reason. The first reason maybe because Father shed more tears than any living human being. And also we have to know that Father did so much adventure.

It is countless times that Father, just the whole thing at stake, just his life and all. This undertaking of Father’s work in America in itself is a great adventure, this is big adventure, what Father is doing. And this adventure of course Father is doing for God. And thirdly, Father knows the value of God more than anybody else on earth or spirit world. This is because Father was able to make God cry out burst into tears so many times. And this is for the first time in history this happened. So with these three things as a qualification as a reason as a basis would God love him or not? Father told, Father really wishes that he wouldn’t suffer anymore, because when he suffers more than when he goes to spirit world how can he say, that I lived on this earth, because knowing he / did it on earth. Father doesn’t want to leave a luxury extravagant life sleep a lot and all that, Father doesn’t really like it. That is a small good.

It became a custom of Father to work hard. So the spirit world always recommend Father when Father goes to a big department store say, pick up the best suit in the entire world in the entire universe, get the most expensive suit in the world, they keep begging Father to do that! Father says, no, this is okay with me and he picks up ten dollar pants. Father doesn’t have ambition because can you imagine what kind of ambition Father can pursue and be happy? Certainly not. Nothing. Lot of money then? No because Father has enough, just enough. Then for what will live for the rest of his life? Becoming famous man. Now Father has everything, fame and money, houses. So what will Father want? The only thing Father want is Father will provide you with better things, especially in establishing this one important area of becoming one.

Not only that even physical plane Father will have to provide you with minimum necessity of life in the future. This is what Father what Father is devoting most of the time at. For your own foundation that is. All the races. To establish tradition. Your tradition. Your offspring how can salvation how much offspring can gain salvation. That is more difficult. To save our own children in the long time to come is more important than anything else. Father is trying to make a lot of money purely because of this reason. Because we are going to make a lot of families, otherwise what is the money for? Father is fifty-seven fifty-eight. Twenty more years it is not so long what would you want out of these twenty years? What would he work for if lot of money then for what?

This is the only reason. For our foundation. And famous, authority, power all these things Father gas already got as he does now. And certainly that is not the motivation it is not the purpose, so there we can also understand become close to Father. And as far as Father sees, every one of us not in proper situation in proper position. Father will have to see to that. That you get positions. So Father know how difficult it is for each one of you to provide your own provisions and provide your own positions. So Father is trying to, is determined to get you positions, where you can stand, where you can live.

Pray here intensely go to the mountains and pray all by himself long time maybe it is necessary for us to pray one month, when there is a new moon coming out very crescent moon then until that becomes a full moon until it becomes a crescent moon once, more one month we have to pray one month continually doing nothing but praying. Try to understand situation of moon even while you are doing it, many things you must try. It is like the sun it is the same thing we make it personal and we try to understand it. But animals or the sun and moon and everything we love and meditate them but the closest Father knows the shortcut is to get hold of a man, cry for him, shed tears for him, care for him and love him. This is the most important thing. This is the shortcut, Father knows this. Do you understand? Of all things to care for another person is that precious, that valuable.

When you do that God gave all kind of credit to Father, for not praying to Him year around, Heavenly

Father understood, because instead he cared about the people so much. But fundamentally speaking we have to do both. We have to work with the men for men shedding tears as well as make a lot of prayers to God too, we have to do both ways. So what is religion? Is religion to know or? What is religion? (experience God) Are you going to know God or are you going to experience God? (experience God) Are you going to experience Father or are you going to understand Father? (experience Father) That is Father’s mission. Father’s mission is to tune into this. So you going through that just as showing by Father and then we understand about Father and understand about Heavenly Father and become completely one with Him.

Can anyone of you with so much confidence shout out that you are the happiest being on earth? Ask that question to each one of you, yourself. Am I the happiest one in the world. You can say that if the whole purpose of your life is to pursue God. If you try to experience God, if you live that way, then you can say that. And also at the same time you must be able to have the heart to say I am the unhappiest man on earth. That is because we are unhappy because we cannot do all the good deeds for Father. Freely we act as sons and daughters of filial piety that is the source of great unhappiness. Do you understand? So in either way, we cannot help but shedding tears. Tears of happiness and tears of sadness. But twenty four hours a day, whether we are awake in the morning or sleep in the evening we are able to? tricker right to the tears. But at any moment we can be so happy, we can really say, God, I am the happiest being on earth, we have to be able to do that. We are so happy because we have that great Father, we have that physically and spiritually we have that we are happy.

We are happy but Father is not happy, we know that, so therefore we are of greatest unhappiness. We are so unhappy. We have to be both ways. Do you understand now? This is where agony comes in. This is where being heartbroken comes in. That without doing some indemnity for God, we cannot make him happy. Without providing some indemnity for God, for the sake of humanity we cannot make God happy. So I am going to do that. I will devote my life all my life doing this. This is our Unification Church member, this is what we are for.

When I do that I won’t stop at a moderate place there is no such a thing as a moderate place. I will do that to the extreme to the end, every one of them will be benefited. This is what Father has been doing. Father came here preplanning for many years. Father was only able to come here to America after he established his individual restoration, family level restoration, tribe and nation. Then Father was able to come to America. Father is more serious than happy being in America. Father is not a happy man in America. In fact unhappy in America. We will accept that. It is okay with us but let not God be unhappy this is why we are doing this. This is what Father has been doing. By doing that, maybe I can eliminate my unhappiness in me understanding Father, that God is not happy.

Do you understand? So when Father did that and proclaimed on Father’s birthday parents birthday the way Father did was, now Father was able to say, I am not an unhappy man, I can call myself a happy man and Father began to proclaim the new era. Do you understand? Father feels that even Father goes to Spirit World that at any prepared time Father has done all of the things as a happy being. So all things are done. So Father is assured that he can, that he has something to boast about to God about himself and he has already won some prize from God so Father feels that. Do you understand? With what he has achieved here, all the spirit world will be happy and welcome Father, because of what he did. You would like to go there too, wouldn’t you to where Father goes? Then are we going to all die together? (laughter) That means let us laugh, because we have done much serious talk. Can you understand, what Father says?

While we are living on earth, if we didn’t do what were supposed to do, the n how regretful it is once we move to the world where we cannot do that. So the opposition is limited time, it is not unlimited time,. No matter how impossible it may seem, as long as the living God is with us. Soon the whole universe falls into the category of God’s direct dominion not the indirect dominion as we have seen. Once it becomes the direct dominion evil cannot be rampant so much anymore, even evil cannot. Of course good things will prosper. So God loves Father so much because of all these reasons. Do you understand? Now that you have heard and imagined so much that if you were God, do you think you would love Father?

Many, many scenes in the history Father created himself did it himself. Even God was so mystified. How Father knew everything about the fall of man, not only the fall of man but the consequence after that after that each scene Father knew, everyone of that and God was sometimes mystified. How did he know so perfectly? Have you ever stopped to imagine that? Which is what Father did. Naturally, Satan is more mystified because that secret only Heavenly Father and Satan only two persons know this secret. But Father found out all about that and mended all about that and got the formula all about that for us to apply, so God is really mystified. How did he do that? Heavenly Father took six thousand years to restore one Adam and He was really up neck. Now Father not only restoring himself but how many people Father has restored and how many foundations he has made? And how many formulas he has made? Do you understand? Since Father has got already love from Heavenly Father and much love so maybe Father can do without the love from you? Maybe that is extra! So for your own value you are talking to that Father you have to all know.

The talk you are listening is that very source and only that being of millions of years. So when we meet Father like this, how much the spirit world is envying over us. Of course this is what every spirit people tells us. That you don’t know, but they know and they are envying us so much so you better know. That is what they are saying. All right when we all go to spirit world, what do they keep as a memory. Does sitting in the same place like this and talking and listening directly from Father, don’t you think this will be a memory, which will last for eternity with such a strong strong power? The we are sitting in that moment. Are we going to boast about that? Are we going to be proud about it after we go to spirit world and tell every other spirit being about what happened?

Then they say as a spirit man you are boasting then why are you here? What are you going to say? What are you going to say when the spirit man will say, Why are you here then? If you are so great, if you are so nice? Why aren’t you with him? Why are you around here? If the spirit man will say that when you are proud of that and tell the story? And also imagine, that is the most fearful thing, Father knows this, and Father want you to prevent from being like that. This life on earth is just like that. Just like one small particle in comparison with eternity. Are you confident now, that no spirit man will ask you that kind of question? (Laughter) Maybe all of us cannot achieve as greatly as Father did but you have to establish the smallest condition, you might call it 5 % of our responsibility, we have to do. Do you always think about the 5% of man’s responsibility?

Do we always live with the 5% responsibility of man rather that with the 95% responsibility of God? So without these basic things, what are we going to do when we get married and even after we give birth to our children? What are we going to do with our children? What if your own children will say in the spirit world you are blessed but why did you bring us here in the spirit world? If they protest against you, what are you going to say to your own children after being blessed and getting a lot of children? That is such a dreadful thing even to imagine. And we had better make sure. So this is one thing Father is really mystified, how can they really sleep all they want, and eat all they want, and talk all they want? How can they live on like that with everything ahead of them like this?

That really puzzles Father. How can they be so optimistic about their own life? You are not only getting near to the eternal world spirit world, getting near the completion of the life on earth and go to spirit world but also your bad conditioning is really a bad thing. It is like time ticks and time is getting short and short, the same thing. Eyelash keep adding on, and so much the shorter the life becomes. And so much is to be done. Do you understand? Since the sun is setting it is going to get cold and our body keeps on pointing to the indoors. If Father leaves now, Father get to East Garden 8 o’clock. Like all the parents telling sad stories to children, children really don’t like that, likewise you don’t like to be hurt by Father saying this, do you? You don’t like that, do you? That is okay then. Since we happen to find ourselves in the category of fallen people, fallen mankind, we just cannot help it. It is something that we might as well get over it, and maybe start thinking about something else, a little bit more happy.

Like the steady old maid, Father says! Sometimes you would like to get married to don’t you? When that urge comes unto you, always think, I have more important things to do, than that. And then you can go back to that thought. Father talked today about our mind and body must become one so we are able to literally listen with our fleshly ears what our mind speaks out. Father also talked about Father came to make this possible in all of us and Father came as a mediator to God, because without True Father no one can come to the Father. And strongest sense of love percussion that stimulus only can bring us out of the fallen category and the past experiences of love, whatever strong or weak it is we have to be stronger. And also Father talked about that Father is the happiest man on earth but at the same time the unhappiest. But all put together, Father decided that Father is the happiest! And also God is much mystified and Satan baffled how Father found out everything so meticulously and did it such a meticulous reverse way and restored everything as far as Heavenly Father’s heart is concerned and what else? And after that in the end Father spoke about spirit world.

Every day of ours is preparation get our work done individual work necessary so that we can be prepared to go to spirit world. All in all that more important than getting married and give birth to our own children, which is important but that is secondarily important but more important is the other thing. Do you understand now? Father even sun rises for you.
