destiny and fate of mankind to move forward to the original world without fall. We were

born and raised in a family which does not have the original status. So, we have the

destiny to part from our parents, brothers, sisters and relatives if they are opposed

to the goal which we are headed for. God would want to have your parents and brothers

and sisters cooperate with you when you want to move to the original world; But if they

are against you, you have to leave them. Our goal is not very clear, but we have to

march forward to the goal which is set before God, even though it is vague before human

It is not a short way. It may take years - our whole lives. But we have to go the

way. In the life of faith, we are the troop of people who are moving toward the new world

and the new goal which we are not used to. Unless we attain the goal and settle there,

we have to move about from place to place ever struggling to attain the goal. Our parents

are not the way they should be. Our brothers and sisters are not the way they should be

so we are going to leave them as we move toward the goal. Unless they are with us,

cooperating with us to the goal, we have to leave them. That is our destiny. We are not

going out of human desire, but we want to go in accordance with God’s will. Just to move

about from place to place is not in accordance with God’s will. So, in moving we want to

go through the toll gate of indemnity on the individual, tribal and national levels. It would ~;) be good if wherever we -went it is in accordance with God’s will. But this is not so easy.

Moving Troops

You must have your leader in the vanguard like the sea gulls - when they fly in

a troop, the leader is ahead of others. If one of them flies out of formation, they will

go against God. You have to set your eyes on the leader and day aryi night you must

follow him. In the troop, a member should not do things in accordance with his own will.

If he loses track of the leader, then they are on the verge of life or death. We are in the

course of moving towards the goal - multiplying our members until we cover the last one

on the earth. When we look back into history, we will find the facts.

In the family of Adam, we find that when Abel and Cain were offering sacrifice,

they could not do it inside but they did it outside their home. It was because God was not

abiding in their family, so they had to build the altar outside and offer the sacrifice there.

Outside of the family, God could be with themJ Wherever God was, if the offering was

acceptable, then God and men could live together. When Abel offered his sacrifice to

God, he was in the position to live forever with God if the offering was acceptable, but

on the course he was killed by Cain. God lost his son who2s offering was acceptable.

So, God was in the destiny to re-start. After 1, 600 years, God had to choose another

family - Noah’s. But God did not abide in Noah’s family either. He had to have Noah’s

family make the condition so that He could live with them; then they, together with the

man with a central mission, can move the family to the central position.

When God ordered Noah to build the ark on the Mount of Arawak, God was hoping

that Noah could be successful so that he could move his family into the family of God.

So, Noah had to leave his home and began to build the ark on the Mount of Arawak. He

had to go through long years of suffering and hardships - for 120 years. If his family had

not been cooperative with him, his whole family was notwith God. It was both God’s wish

a nd Noah’s desire to have Noah’s family cooperative with him so that they could be saved

Moving Troops

when Noah was righteous in God’s sight. Noah was concentrating on his mission. So, he

could not look after his own family. In the course of time we cannot imagine that his wife

a nd his whole family were cooperative with him for those long 120 years. If any of the

family, be it his parents, hi s brothers and sisters, his wife, had gone against him, then

no one of his family could be saved. But to their eyes - to the eyes of his family, friends,

relatives and neighbors, he was just a crazy man. If he was going to build an ark at all

why didn’t he build it on the seashore? But he built it on the mountain some 4, 000 feet

above sea level. We must know for what reason God made him do that.

Why did God place him in that position - where people could not understand him?

God would have him work in the position where nobody else could understand. Then, if

he was successful it is sure that he could be the only one and no one else could do the

job. Beyond a doubt he was in the position where other people were skeptical about what

he was doing. Sometimes he, himself, felt to deny what he was doing. But his goal was

set and his determination was unchangeable. The ark he was going to make was the

representation of a new place - it represented the new place to be created. Noah was

supposed to love that place and he had to be determined to live with the ark all through

those years. He did that and his mission was successful. Only his family who was not

cooperative with him failed his mission.

Then the providence was prolonged for 400 years more when God chose Abraham.

In order to have someone accomplish the mission left unaccomplished by Noah, he had to

choose another person. That was the prolongation of God’s providence. In that situation

God chose Abraham, the son of an idol seller. God would take away a person whom Satan

loved most. Once he objected to God, he could not be restored at all. If he would long for

his family, miss his family, he could not have him go through the mission. Abraham had

to leave his home and he wandered about from place to place like a gypsy. In Abraham’s

Moving Troops

days the situation was different from Noah’s. At the time of Noah, at most, his family

and relatives objected to him; but now the whole nation was objecting to Abraham. It

was not an easy job for Abraham to take his whole family to wander about.

In the course of time if Abraham had felt regret and longed for home and desired

to go back home, then God could not use him. His goal was only a vague one - he did not

know how much time he would need to carry out his mission. But he would not vacillate;

his faith was firm and he continued his way. That is why God could use him. He would

strive on the way without knowing where the goal was. Not only one day or two, but for

an undetermined time. He would strive on together with his family. That was what made

him great in the sight of God. Abraham went to Egypt even though his destiny was to go

t o the Pharoah’s palace, he would do even that. But Abraham would not miss his home -

his goal was to be with God. He ministered to God as his king rather than the Pharoah.

That is what made him great in God’s sight. He was many times at the verge of life or

death. Because of the Pharoah, he was even going to lose his wife, but his determination

was great and his faith was firm. That is what made him great. He was living for some-

thing greater than he had, and he never lost sight of this goal, so he would strive on.

However difficult his course may have been, his goal to work with and be with God was

not changed. God now could see that he would not vacillate even if he was given a greater

mission. Even Satan could not accuse him of any mistake or wrong, because he was

successful in his mission. He knew that this man, Abraham, could do greater things.

Even though Satan accused him of any mistake, if God was confident to use him, he would

make him do another job, and if he proved him in God’s sight, then he could be proud of

his son, Abraham. He had no condition for Satan to accuse him, that’s why God could

Moving Troops

Then, God ordered him to offer three sacrifices on the altar. God promised to

give him an untold number of ids descendants - as many as the grains of sand on the

seashore. Abraham, himself, felt that he was in a serious and fearful position, because

his descendants’ destiny and his own rested on whether or not he could carry out his

mission. He had to separate himself in order to belong to God and he had to separate

his family from Satan and have them belong to God. That’s why he put three kinds of

offering on the altar; cow ry oxen and a dove. But by his not cutting the dove into two,

the sacrifice was nullified. By his cutting the dove in the acceptable manner, his offering

could have been successful and purified. Then God could abide there. But he was unsuccess-

ful by not cutting the dove. So, instead of God’s, it became Satan’s abode. We must know

that by our careless mistake at the last moment, God’s providence can be nullified.

Because he did not cut the dove into instead of God claiming it, Satan devoured tow,

put the offering. (The eagle came down and devoured it) So, God was ,in the position to have

them move to another place or to have them choose another one. Abraham committed

a mistake already - he had created the condition for which Satan could accuse him. He

could not be successful there, so he had to create another situation.

God’s providence was extended when he had to offer his only son, Isaac, to God

in place of or as the offering. He was the substantial offering. In this case if Abraham

had loved his son more than God, then his offering would have been nullified. It was the

condition for him to move to another place of status. But if he was not successful, God’s

providence would have been prolonged. Abraham had to leave everything in God’s hands

in utter obedience. When he was about to kill his son, God saw that he was righteous

and his mission was successful at that moment. After this success, centered on Isaac,

Jacob could stand in the position to start his mission on the substantial level.

Moving Troops

Up to that moment, people could approach God through the offering of things, but

now centered on Jacob’s family, God’s providence could be developed substantially.

Because Jacob was the descendant of Isaac and Abraham, in his family, also, there was

the condition for Satan to accuse. That is one point we must remember as to the providen-

tial history. With the failure of his precedessor, Jacob was in the condition where Satan

could accuse him of the failure. His family, his tribe and his whole nation had that condi-

tion. If Abraham had not been a failure Jacob could have been successful, and his success

w ould bring about individual success. The success of his family would bring about the pro-

vidential success on the family level. If he had restored his tribe or nation, the success

could have been carried on those levels. But because of Abraham’s failure, there was

s atanic accusation left.

It is fearful! His act of not cutting the dove intotwo would leave that kind of condition

where Satan can accuse him. It prolonged God’s providence and the condition could be

carried out through eternity if the followers could not succeed in their missions. Even

though he would win the faith of the whole nation there is also satanic accusation remaining.

If Abraham had succeeded in giving his offering to God, that kind of accusation would not

have remained. Jacob had to leave his home and set the condition of indemnity so that his

whole family and his whole nation could not be accused by Satan. But if Jacob was success-

ful in his mission of connecting his whole nation to God, God from then on, could establish

the national scope of progress. In his days, Jacob was in the position to have to win over

Satan both on the spiritual and physical levels. Noah was a failure and again the second

failure was brought about by his forefather, Abraham.

So, in the time of f acob his mission was doubled and he had to expand his mission

and be successful there both on the spiritual and physical levels. Haran was to him the

satanic world. In Haran there was his uncle. He was supposed to receive this man of

Moving Troops

central mission. But even though Laban was his uncle, he had him go through difficulty

and deceived him. Even though his uncle Laban would go against him, and deceive him

and do everything bad to him, he was in the position not to oppose his uncle. If he did,

his mission would be nullified. Even though he was under such difficult situations where

persecution and all derision came to him, he knew that God would protect him and if he

was successful in his mission, God would be overjoyed at his success. He knew that Laban

was on the satanic side while he was on the side of God. If there was God he knew that lie

would protect his way and,,He would be victorious. However strong the opponent power

may look, he knew that he was strong because God was working with him and in the end

he was going to be successful in his mission.

During the 21 years’ drudgery, he was deceived 10 times by his uncle Laban, but

his zeal and faith in God never vacillated, never waivered. Laban would deceive him so

many times, but now Jacob was confident that after a course of time, he could have the

course of deceiving Laban and he would win over him. After 21 years of victory, he had

to go back to his own home, because his mission was successful. On the way back home,

his way was not a homecoming - pleasant and joyful course. But it was for him more

than going towards the enemy land, because he knew he had to reconcile with his brother,

Esau; and his determination was like the man who was on the verge of life and death. Both

God and Jacob wanted to have what he had acquired in the strange land - foreign place

inherited to his own home.

In his life in Haran, there was no threat for his life. But when he returned, there

was danger awaiting him, and he had to succeed there at the risk of his life. On his way

home at the ford of Jabbock, he had to wrestle with the angel. There was something there

from the situation he was under when he was in Laban. He was desperate to win over the

angel, the Satan. He fought all through the night wrestling back and forth. At daybreak

Moving Troops

it was time for the angle to leave. Jacob became even more serious at that moment not to

let him go. He was in the position to be thought by God and Satan that he would never let

the angel go unless he was blessed. God was compelled to bless him. Satan, was also

compelled to bless him. Jacob won that position. So, God had to recognize his victory

and the angel could not help but recognize his victory. if the angel had wanted to bless

Jacob, then Satan could accuse him saying tla t the angel had been on the side of God

originally. But God, Satan and the angel didn’t see any condition in Jacob that would not

make it possible for him to be blessed. Jacob was the first man who created the condition

where God, Satan and the archangel could bless him without finding any condition to accuse

him of his state. He was victorious on the spiritual level, so however difficult the struggle

may be with Esau, he was confident to win over him. While he was blessed with material

abundance during the years of his work of Laban, it belonged to Cain’s world, and he knew

that he was going to return it to his side. So that is what made him great.

It was with renewed determination and love that he was headed for his home to Esau.

He knew that everything he had in his possession belonged to Esau and also to Cain. His

determination was to win the victory against Esau and thus he would have laid the victoriai s

foundation for his nation to be saved. He had made the victorious condition, so even though

his brother, Esau, would come out with his whole family and rc!atives, there was already

a victorious condition that was set so that there was a victorious condition to begin from.

It was the principle that when he poured out (invested) his whol life, love and everything

to someone else, he was confident to win over Esau, but Esau was a little fearful of his

brother. Esau felt like receiving his younger brother. They embraced each other and that

was the foundation to receive the national providence of God.

From the victorious foundation laid by Jacob, God had the condition and there was the

national foundation to work on. Out of his descendants God was going to form a nation of his

Moving Troops

choice and be prepared for a final providence to be realized. On the satanic side

there was a nation already formed. A king reigned over the nation, but both the king

and nation were evil. But in the nation of his choice, He was sending His son. By

sending His son to win over that nation, He was going to win. When this chosen nation

would fail to carry out their mission of receiving the Messiah, then God had to allow

the satanic world to claim these people and God’s providence would have been prolonged,

and another move would have to take place. Jacob, even tluugh his mission was success-

ful, his later generations had to go to Egypt there and after coming out of Egypt, he had

to fight against the Cannanites and win over them.

Saints and prophets sent by God had always to go through all those difficulties first

to separate themselves from Satan and then to carry out God’s mission either on the

family, tribal, or national level. If the family could be one with the central personage

with God’s mission, that could be a success. If the nation could be one with the central

person with God’s mission, then there could be success, but without cooperation they

had to go through another period of indemnity. The Israelites in Egypt going through

drudgery was something like Jacob in Haran going through hardships. For Jacob to

lay the foundation of success on the family level, he had to go through only 21 years

of drudgery in a righteous way. Then, the nation as a whole were one with God and that

made their mission a success. ---- Ju in Haran, Jacob was deceived 10 times m Laban. The Israelites had to

go through untold di fkult` . By ten types of miracles they were saved. It was only

after they had made a certaincondition that God could help them through the 10 miracles.

Moving Troops

Just as in Haran Jacob was deceived 10 times by Laban, Jacob had to go through

untold difficulties. God had to 1a rden the mind of Pharoah and then by the ten miracles

they were saved. It was only after they had made the certain condition that God could

help them through the 10 miracles. It was because in God’s sight, He could not but

recognize the success of these people. And the whole nation and all the people (Israelites)

could not but recognize the success of Moses. Satan, too, could not accuse Moses of

failure. If the people of the Israelites were utterly cooperative with Moses and obedient

to him, he could have succeeded in his mission with the Israelites while he was still in

Pharoah’s palace. Their fate could have been changed. But because of their disobedience

and their disbelief in their leader, he had to leave the palace of the Pharoah, leading these

people into the wilderness and there he had to roam about 40 years in the wilderness of

Midian in preparation for the entry into the land of Cannan. There was nothing else in

Moses’ mind during those 40 years. To save the Israelite people was the only thing he had

in mind. However difficult the situation mayhave been he would not be frustrated. He kept

his faith in God. So, God had to use him through the way and made him a success.

But the Israel people were skeptical of Moses and were scattered in their faith.

But God would strive hard to make their minds unite, and then he would lead them by miracles.

He kept using Moses as the leader. The course of Moses and the Israelites going back home.

At the ford of Jabbock he had to, again, fight and wrestle with the angel and win over him.

These people had to fight against the satanic power in the wilderness. At the ford of Jabbock case it was Jacob who fought against the angel. He, alone, had to do that. In this/Moses had to

go through the same thing. When he was going to Egypt, God appeared and tried to kill him. and Then Moses’ wife, who was wise enough to cut her son’s foreskin/threw it away, saved him.

That was what he had different from Jacob. With the cooperation of his family, Moses was

Moving Troops condition of saved. So, the/satanic accusation was removed from his family.

Wherever Moses went he had the right to accompany his family ‘for his family

to accompany him) wherever he went in the providence of God. He was victorious on

the individual level, substantially. He was again successful on the family level in the

substantial way. So, from then on he was going to move his whole family to the next

stage. The whole nation was going to move to leave the satanic world and go forward

in search of the preapred world of God. Originally, the Israelites were not in the condition

to leave the land of Egypt but by Moses succeeding in his mission on the individual and

family levels, they could leave the land of Egypt. It resulted in the success as a nation

in the position of the external level, while he himself, when he succeeded in his mission

on the family level, that played the role of internal success. His case was just like Jacob’s

case when he was on the way back home with his family. If the Israelites were confident

and if they had faith in Moses and were cooperative with the leader, it was not a difficult

thing for them to reach the land of Canaan.

God performed a miracle when they had to cross the Red Sea. If they had obeyed

God, they could have crossed the wilderness of Midian in 21 days, but because of their

disobedience and disbelief in God, it took them some 40 long years. Moses was desperate

and he won success in his mission on the family level. So, the Israelites were supposed to

obey their leader, and if they were entirely one with him they could have succeeded in

going - entering into the land of Canaan. Because of thei r disbelief, the mission was a

failure. The 600, 000 people were their mission was something like the wrestling of Jacob

at the ford of Jabbock, but they failed in doing that. If they become one in the battle against

the seven tribes against the Canaanites, they could won a victory right there making Moses’

mission a success and they, too, could have been included there. But they failed in doing

Moving Troops

that and we know how serious the matter is when we are on the move as a troop in the

providence of God. If we fail in our mission, the great transmigration must take place.

The complicated history of the Israelites from then on was resultant from the failure of

their forefathers.

The first generation of the Israelites failed to pray before the , but

God chose the second generation to enter the land of Canaan. The descendants could

barely enter the land of Canaan. They could have been entitled to the land of Canaan

with high, and uplifted heads, but because of the conditions they had to go through, there

were satanic forces waiting for them to fight and win over. By sending numerous saints

and prophets, God had to purify the peoples’ hearts and prepare the nation to receive the

Messiah. God wanted to have his chosen people to become one with Judaism, and if they

were one with Judaism, God’s providence could have seen success there. But they failed

in doing that. Despite God’s attempts, if they failed to be united into one, God had to leave

them in the hands of Satan. There came about the condition for Satan to invade. We have

been taught about the preparation period for the coming of the Messiah. If the chosen nation

had obeyed God, they could have formed the foundation on which the Messiah, Jesus, could

come. During the time of difficulty God wanted to have the peole become strong enough

to go through the indemnity course and receive God on the firm foundation that they,

themselves, had laid. But they could not do that. God had to send a person to lead this

nation of the Israelites.

John the Baptist was on the one for this mission - to inherit all the deeds accomplished

by the past away saints and prophets in preparation for the coming of the Messiah. John the

Baptist started his mission to prepare this nation to receive the Messiah in such a way that

they can be removed to another place. The Israelites were supposed to be united under

Moving Troops

John the Baptist as the new ancestor. God’s trying to make them into one firm ground was

for them to receive the Messiah - to be removed to a higher level. The leader there,

to remove this nation to higher level, must go through difficulties which either Jacob or

Moses and all the rest of the saints and prophets had to go through. That was his 30

years of life in the wilderness. For John the Baptist those 30 years were the period in

which he had to go through all the difficulties and persecution. His only wish and his

faith was that the Messiah would come and reign over this nation which was prepared by

God. Then, he will reign over them in righteousness and with justice. John the Baptist,

when he received Jesus, should not have let him go - just like Jacob would not let the angel

go unless he would bless him. In a sense John the Baptist was in the position of the archangel

after the fall. So, this time the archangel should obey Adam and if he believed in Jesus,

he could not have let him go, but he would want to just cling to him and beoome one with him.

~If the Israelites had become one with john the Baptist who was ready to receive the Messiah,

then a firm foundation could have been laid at that time that God’s whole providence would

be a success

Moving Troops

If the Israelites had become one with John the Baptist who was already ready to a firm foundation could have been laid at that time and receive the Messiah, then/his whole providence could have been a success. Then the

victorious blessing could be there on the individual, family and national level. If the

chosen nation had succeeded in their mission as individuals, they could have been on the

victorious level foundation as the sons of God. As the family level foundation they could

have laid the family level foundation as God’s family, and the national foundation as God’s

nation and the world wide as God’s world. But the Israelites could not carry out their

mission, so they were dispersed and they had to go through the course of indemnity. That

is why the Israelites were scattered all over the world without having their nation, without

even having their families.

Through several thousands of years of history, the Jewish people had to go through

untold difficulties. They were looked down upon and trodden underfoot, and they had to

go through great misery. “ If they had succeeded in their mission, the Messiah could have

carried out his responsibility with their nation as the foundation. But because of the failure

and disbelief of tnL. ~., use, he had to carry out the mission centered on the 12 disciples.

They had to go to Rome (?) and they had to march and get victorious victory over them. ’

then God would give them the mission. After going through all the indemnity course all

over again, God had to have Jesus go through his mission centered on the 12 disciples.

Before the crucifixion of Jesus, John the Baptist and the Israelites had to cling to Jesus and

be one with him to make his mission a success - at the risk of their lives. But their mission

was a failure and that’s why he had to be crucified and that’s why the people had to cling

to him. If the Christian world had been one with him, there could have been blessing for

them as people, as a family and as a nation under the will of God.

Even though you may have to kick away your own family and nation or leave every-

thing in the world, you must never let Jesus go. The Christians must never let Jesus go in that

Moving Troops

way. So, the Christian population could barely prepare the foundation for the second

Israel. They barely form the second Israelites. So the fate of every Christian has

become that he or she has to leave his home like Jacob and has to go through so many

difficulties on all levels or else we cannot reach God. In order for us to be able to go

back to the bosom of God, we must leave our home or else God would have us or make

us leave our home, by using the power to drive us out. There is no doubt of the fact

that our Christian predecessors had to go through untold difficulties and persecution.

From persecution they were driven out of their homes unless they came out of their homes of

their own accord. Christians had to leave their countries because of the persecution there and ha

had to scatter all over the world. The history of Christianity until the present moment

has been that the people had to leave their land, their homes, because they were persecuted;

but they did not come out on their own accord - out of their own will. What I am talking

a bout is not found in the Divine Principle book. What I am saying is true and is taking

place. The Christian population would move from place to place in persecution, but their

goal was not clear. Many people were martyred; and in being martyred, they set up the

foundation for the future Christians.

Scattered all over the world, the Christians are not patriots anymore - they don’t

have their country in mind. They have to have the concept of all Christians being a nation,

a nother tribe under God. But they have forgotten that too. They are in the situation that

they cannot have the concept of their home, or family, alone. They have been only working

for their salvation as individuals. Ardent Christians like Paul and others believed in

c elibacy and they would not marry and remain bachelors or virgins to minister to God.

Other people would follow their ideas or would leave God to fight against the Satanic power.

This is the condition of the Christian world in the latter days. Then when will Christiandom

see the transmigration again to the next level of things? Christian now separated from

Moving Troops

their own country. Christians are separated from their own tribes. Christians lh. ve

their own families, but in the truest sense, they have no family under God. They are in

despair; they are in utter lonliness. This is the condition the Christian people have to

go thm ugh. If a Christian is a true believer, he must pray to God to be able to restore

himself to become the son of God - to restore his family which is righteous in God’s sight -

to restore his nation and the whole world which is God’s. But there is none like that in the

Christian world.

If they-are really going to carry out their mission for the cause of God,

they must be desperate in waiting for someone to lead them, because they know that

scattered like this they cannot lie united into one under God’s will. There must be many

Christians today who are in the position of John the Baptist waiting for the Lord to come - pre-

paring their own nation as the solid foundation for the Lord of the Second Advent to come and

work. Just as the Israelites should have become a solic foundation for the Messiah to work

on the Christian population wherever they should be the foundation for the Lord of the Second

Advent. They must long for the Messiah to come. Is there any such person or gran p?

We must be prepared for the day to come when we can receive the Messiah

on the prepared foundation of oneness or else we cannot help him make his family and we

cannot have the tribe, nation and world under him. In doing that we must transcend national,

racial, individual and family boundaries. Just as the people of the Israelites should have left

their homes, their relatives and everything of value behind them when the voice of the leader

would come to be united with them, we in this world must lend our attentive ears to the

voice of our shepherd; and when the Messiah should appear, we must leave our homes,

our nation and everything which we have been treasuring, to be united with him or else the

kingdom of God cannot come about. If, in that day, you would insist on keeping what you

have, and if you think of things on the individual level, you are like the Isrealites being

Moving Troops

disobedient to Moses. You are like the people in the day of John the Baptist not being united

with Jesus, and our mission cannot be fulfilled. If the voice of a leader is heard and would

want you to leave your home, your nation and your world of ideology, leave democracy,

and communism, and come and join this group, if you do not listen to him, then you are

worse than the Israelites who failed in their mission.

If you are not gathering the people, then you are against God’s will. If you

are not awakened to the fact that you have to leave everything behind and you have to

sacrifice your own life for this cause, you are not accepted by God. How many people out

of the Christian world can reach that level? If none can meet the level, what would become

of God’s providence? God’s providence will be nullified on every level. The whole world

is on the eve of despair, destruction and ruin. In these last days if there is such a leader

appearing and such a group being united into one with him, God’s will will be realized.

If you are in the position of John the Baptist making the way straight for the man to come

as the leader of the whole world, then you would want to devote your life and live and die

for this cause. If 100 lives had to be given, you would want to sacrifice your life for this

cause - in utter gratitude, taking every hardship for granted.

You must think that it’s worthwhile for you to go through such difficulties.

Are there any such Christians in the world today? If Christians should fail to do this, God

is a pitiful God’ and how pitiful the past saints and prophets would be! How pitiful must Jesus

be because he had to convey the mission to his predecessors. And how pitiful would be the

prepared nation and all predecessors therein. Through 6, 000 years of history God has

been preparing the world to receive the Messiah. If it is nullified how great the agony of

God must be? This is the time when you are to hear the voice of a very great leader; and

if you are not attentive to the voice and don’t follow him to be united with him and don’t

follow the tribe, and nation under him, then God’s hope will be diminished and His providence

Moving Troops

will be nullified.

Originally, if Korea as a nation could have been cooperative with the leader,

he could have projected his mission and expanded his mission to reach out to the end of the

world, right there. But since Korea did not do that, he had to move on to this continent.

He is now here to dispense God’s providence. If you cannot succeed in your mission of

being united with him, and accomplish your own mission, then how grievous must God be?

In Korea the Christians and the : orean government oppose our movement, that’s what

drove me here. But what we have that is different from the days of Moses and Jesus is that

even though I left my country, people will want to have me back, because there is the

condition as Esau and Jacob - to receive me as Jacob. There are the Unified Family in

Korea and all the members longing to have me back. They know that I had to move onto

this continent of America.

In this country there is a certain amount of success for the Christianity

on the spiritual level. So, if I fight here, like Jacob at the ford of Jabbock, win over

satanic power here and go back to my chosen nation, and if I will be received by them, then

our mission will be a success. Even on the spiritual level, America is so prepared as to

receive any kind of faith. Here we can enjoy the freedom of worship. So, I am not going

to be sacrificed here. When we finally win over the satanic power here and gain the victory,

then I will have to set up the condition to be received by the chosen nation again. The

Christian world is the archangelic world on the spiritual level. So, America is in the

position of the archangel, and I am fighting Jacob’s fight against the archangel at the ford

of Jabbock. So, I am right at the ford, and I am fighting this power. Whether or not I will

win is the question. Do you want me to be defeated? (No! Which way do you choose?)

(Win!) If you want to win more than Jacob, you must be stronger than Jacob. Are you that

strong? (Yes!) That is a problem.

Moving Troops

You must be like Jacob who would not let the Art hangel go; you must cling

to me. “Even though America may have to die - even though a democratic world will have

to be faced with ruin, I will cling to him” - that must be your attitude. As in the time of

Jacob’s wrestling with the angel, there is a time element involved. At daybreak the angel

has to leave, so we have to leave. So we must accomplish it in a certain amount of time.

Are you resolved to do that? What if you right arm is plucked out? Then you will be ready

to use your left hand. But if your left hand, too, will be plucked out, then you must bite the

satanic power. If your teeth are worn out you must use your legs to fight against the satanic

power. After hearing me, you should by this time know how grave, how important your

mission is and then it is natural for you to do your work at the sacrifice of your own life.

America is now at a loss what to do. Frustrated and deprived of the power -

powerless. In looking at this America, if there is anyone who would complain saying this

America is such a big land, and in order to restore her we need time and you slow up, then

you must kill yourself; you deserve death! If you really know the situation and if you realize

that America is in that position, you must be ready to sacrifice your life. That’s what God and the

whole world would want you to do. You must be prepared to do that. I have already said about

the time element - from the year 1972 through 1978 - within that period of time we have got

to carry out our mission to save this nation! Can you persevere, be patient and win - strive

through the way for those 7 years - even thoug h your arms are plucked apart? There have

been many patriots who have fought for their nation, been imprisoned, led lives of untold misery in .

those prison cells and even died there for the sake of their country. Up to the present

times, even the martyrs in the Christian world were ready to do that to save themselves

on the individual level.

We deserve the honor after winning over Satan. Can we not do this with

determination? If, in this situation you think of yourself as an individual, or just your

Moving Troops

own family, then you are worse than Satan. If you say “I cannot go any further,” then you

are destined to hell. It is because you are the fruit of the accomplishments of the past

saints and leaders and you are the totalization of those people. You have inherited what

they have accomplished; and so if you fail in your mission, you are worse then Satan and

you are destined to hell - nothing else. If you see things with that kind of eyes, if you

hear things with that kind of ears, talk about things with that kind of mouth, God will hate

you, punish you and make your eyes blinded, make your ears deaf and mouth dumb. Before

God doing that would you not want to pluck out your own eyes, ears and mouth which would

When you are prepared to deny yourself, kill yourself, when you are

prepared to lose yourself, you will never complain. Once you are prepared to die, to lose

your life, you must be ready to fight against Satan face to face with your gun you must fire

your bullet piercing through the heart of Satan. Commands will come from me and you will

have to pierce through the heart of the president, the heart of the senators and the heart of

the governor of the state. You must do that!

Those members from other countries - you must love America more than you

do your own countries. We must transcendboundaries. You must force people - compel them

to listen to your words. You would say “They don’t move”, but you can make them move if

you have faith. At the time of the exodus of the Israelites, if when all the rest of the people

are coming out, one would remain there, would the leader leave him behind or chastize him

and force him to come? Afterwards he will be thankful. We are now in the time of emergency

at the verge of life or death.

Centered on our activity on the first of October there will be great change

coming about in our movement. We are concentrating our efforts on the City of New York.

Moving Troops

We have brought the State Representatives and Commanders of the mobile teams to this

city to focus our attention on this city. Not only those people, but we have brought

Japanese and European brothers and sisters to fight right here in this city. We must

make this place a settlement for us as victors. Just as if at the ford of Jabbock, Jacob won

the battle with Satan and would go back to his own home with the victory won by him, we have

to win the battle here; and then the promised land will be given to us.

By the time when you go back to your countries, there will be a substantial

foundation already laid to welcome you. The members from other countries are not here to

live forever, but to fight the battle for this nation and for the world, but to fight for the victory.

You must remember this. Unless you put yourself in the position of Jacob to receive the

blessing from his father and to inherit the blessing from Esau, you cannot succeed in your

mission. On our way, we have to multiply our members, we have only a handful of members

here, but when we are on our way to the battlefield, we must multiply our members, expand

our movement and include all the western hemisphere and the whole world and then God will

be victorious for us.

We are now in America. This is the land of Heron. If our battle is successful

here, we are in the position of Jacob, blessed with material abundance and with expanded

members of the Unified Family and then we can go back to the homeland to inherit the whole

heritage - the birthrate. America is the country where many nationalities are mingled

together. These people are miscellaneous descendt. If in this nation we are able to unite

those people into one, God will set His home in this nation and we can see the possibility

of making the world into one. We are working here for that purpose - not working in a

homogenous nation. There is great meaning to our work here. We are like the Puritans in

the world. You must know the blessedness of our being able to participate in this great

cause. Then you are given the victory by God. We must be grateful - we must sing in

Moving Troops

praise of God that we can participate in this great battle. If we win the victory we will

have won the victory for God in this great land. We will have erected the kingdom of

In selling tickets, in handing out the handbills, you must know that you are

doing this for the sake of the kingdom of God which will be erected and you will be strengthened.

We have to stir up the whole city of New York. Our action will be like a strong storm,

creating whange in this city. We are resolved to change this city - this satanic city. We

know how to do it and what to do. Then, if we are resolved to that under God’s direction -

under Master, then we are resolved to win the victory. If your days’ work is not a success,

you must feel more challenge and ask God for more difficulties and more work to do,

immediately after failure. If you want to prolong your work if your have not been successful

in the previous day, you are in the position to have to pray to God to give you more work and

you must take the rebuff as the challenge - or else we cannot continue our work and move on

to the next higher level. If you retreat from here, you are like the Israelites, who were destroyed

in the wilderness and turned to corpses - being killed by hardships.

To us everything is new - everything is an adventure and we must do anything

and everything at the risk of our lives. Ifam the kind of man who would not do ordinary

things. The command I give will be surprizing and extraordinary to you and you feel

desperate to carry what you have been told to do. Then when you have done that, another

command will be given - a command more extraordinary than the previous one. Once you

are given the command you are given strength. There is no complaint possible. If you

remind yourself of the difficulties which the past saints and prophets had to go through,

but through the time of Jesus Christ they had not been able to set up the core of the family…

How great our task must be - how can we feel easy and idle away the time?

Moving Troops

You may feel that our battle in New York City is so severe, so difficult, but each next year it will be more difficult andkear following will be more difficult. But we must

do this until every corner of the city is restored. If you have realized that we have that

kind of situation can you be frustrated - after one day, after one month? You represent your

whole nation. You are not just any individual, but you represent your whole ancestry -

all of your descendants. Those who are from other countries are representing your

countries - whether or not Master will win the battle will be the victory or failure of this

nation, America. If he is a failure it means it is the American’s failure. Male or female,

young or old, the same applies if you really know that if you are a failure you have no face

to lift before mankind, before God and your relatives. Would it not be better for you to die

on the battlefield? Unless we obtain victory on this continent, we cannot move on to other

places. Then we will be a scattered people without a nation. Some will fall away

leaving God and His providence.

Following the example of our predecessors, we are here to move on, trans-

migrate to place to place and bring the world back to God’s bosom. We are a group, to

move on and on until we can wih the goal. We must be grateful and be able to accomplish

our mission here and now. What we have earned here, what we have accomplished will be

inherited to other nations and other camps of ideology. For example, when we reach out to

the communist world, the whole world will be included and brought back to God’s bosom and

then alone the whole world will be happy. Are you confident to carry out this mission? If

you are ready for that, hold up your hands. These are not my words, but God’s words. Looking

back in the history of God’s providence you will know it clearly. It is the Principle. If you

fail to carry out your mission, the Principle will accuse you of your mistake. The standard

of God’s judgment over you will be whether or not you have carried out the mission under

God’s will rather than your own will. While in the satanic world people are at war with each

Moving Troops

other, individuals quarrel, families and nations fight, but in our world we must love each

other and we must love our Gods our Father.

If you, after being taught like this, would complain about your brothers and

sisters and would look down on black people, fight against yellow people, then you are

worse than Satan. You will be Satan’s foothold to work. It was the cause of the spiritual

death of the Israelites - their failure - that they complained against Moses when he was on

the mountain ready to receive the tablets ‘from God. You are like Moses, like John the

Baptist, the disciples of Jesus. You are in the position of being apt to complain against me

as your leader. The more difficulty you are placed in, the more you are apt to complain.

You must be alert and watch over yourselves or else you will fall into disloyalty and disbelief.

or else you are going to fall back to Satan and complaint. Dissatisfaction is not

You must be grateful and be ready to sacrifice yourself on the way of restoration.

We are not living today for the sake of ourselves, but for tomorrow and for the days to come.

Our goal must be far ahead in the flit ure. The members of the Unified Family are the soldiers

who have pledged before God to fight against the satanic power and win over it and glorify

God at the end of our battle. However long it will be, we will fight on til the time when we

gain the goal.

Suppose the City of lvew York is a stick, we have to break it apart with our

strength in faith. Are you like that? Then you must feel that it is wonderful that our gith today is m

more fierce than yesterday’s. The more bitterness and the more difficulty ;you are faced with,

you can realize that your goal is nearer. If you have a day on which your ticket selling is

so difficult you must realize that those who buy the tickets that day will surely come and be

saved and it is worth your toil. If you sell those in an easy way, maybe those who come will

not be saved. If and when you could, by selling the tickets like that bring one person who can

be a great leader in the future, it is no re than bringing tens of thousands of people. You don’t

Moving Troops

know where or when you can meet such a person so you would go on and on selling tickets.

You feel that you are in search of such a person. If you feel like that in selling, then you

are sure to bring that kind of person who can save the multitudes. God is so anxious, but

who knows, while you are striving on, right at the threshhold beyond which you can find auch

a person. If you stop selling, then God’s hope will be nullified, you will have committed a

grave mistake.

You must remember that right at the moment of crucifixion Jesus kept thinking

that if he could go through that death, and go beyond death, he could save the whole nation.

His hope was not diminished, his desire was not killed. That’s what left room for him to be

resurrected. He knew and believed that with his resurrection many people would be resurrected

and he would have a multitude of people under him even on the spiritual level. Right in the midst

of persecution, and at the moment of death, he would not discard hope. That’s what made

him resurrect.

We cannot complain. The same thing applies to me. With the great task ahead of

us we are marching forward to the end of the world. If you are going to fall on the way, it

would have been better for you not to have started at all. Once you have started, you must

gain the goal. Where are you headed for - to the level of your city, your state of shall we

march forward to Moscow? If we transmigrate - move from place to place covering the whole

world, then the world cannot but become God’s kingdom. It is a wonderful thing to move - to

have a great transmigration on the individual, family, national, etc. level. And when we

have covered the whole world we cannot but become God’s kingdom and the whole world will

become God’s children.

Those who are female and pretty old, are worried they will die without being

married. Thenyou will have to leave this world without bearing children. In that case, too,

can you be grateful to God that your participated in this movement? On the way your attention

Moving Troops

must not be distracted to look for your mate like this, but in the world after, we will have

gained the fiiorctory, you will be given a wonderful mate. The same thing applies to the male

folks. Do you imagine that Jesus thought of that kind of thing on the way? If he was going

to marry, he was going to do it with all his people welcoming him, and with all of them congratu-

lating him. You must be hopeing for the same thing. There are many blessed couples here,

but they are only blessed within the scope of the church. They cannot enter the kingdom of

God as they are. They have the conditions left to be set up by them to reach the national level

of things. They have to set up the standard of blessing on the world wide level. That means they

have two more blessings to receive before they are entitled to heaven.

In blessing, too, there are 3 stages, so after going through 3 stages of blessings

alone, can you be recognized by the world and by God. Then, would you not rather wait until the

whole world is restored and then and there receiving recognition by the whole world? What

if it takes 30 or 40 years more? Can you still wait? If you are ready to lose your life, you

will gain it. If you are ready to wait that much in fighting through, then your time will be

shortened to one year o less. In order for you to do that, you must concentrate your whole

efforts on our work alone. Then, alone, can you shorten that period. You must be ready to

receive the persecution of 10 years’ portion, con tracted in one year. Then, bot h you and

God will profit.

The time is hastened to realize the kingdom of heaven. If the death rate is 100

of the whole population every year, then out of the 4 hillion of the world’s population, 40

million people are dying their physical death without being saved - that means they are headed

for hell. In 10 years’ time 400 million people will go to hell. If we succeed in our mission,

that means we will have saved 400 million people. If we think of that, would we not rather

shorten the period into one year rather than 10? Then you must realize that every moment,

every second of your life will be used to save a life. If you are so serious, can you idle away the time - spending the whole day without doing anything for God?

P zz. Suppose you hand out one bill to one Der~nn_ ,hn ii,

Moving Troops

people may be waiting. In that situation, can you hesitate, can you wait? If you are so

serious as that, then you will be given strength and your whole self will be animated and

vitalized and given rebirth and you will dash on. The road will be open and then you can

break through. The highway will be open and God will be waiting with a Lincoln limousine

and drive you to the very goal - with Himself as the driver.

Just imagine, God is all anxious to have you succeed in your mission. He has

been waiting 6, 000 years or more, w ould He not be anxious to have you accomplish your

mission in the soonest possible date? He would like to have you go to the kingdom of heaven

by leaps and bounds. At the very moment, right there, we will be recognized as God’s sons and

daughters, and we have the dominatorship over all the creation. We will reign over the whole

world and elevate the dignity of God and glorify Him. We will be given the world. We will

live in the world having nothing to do with satanic accusation. Our ancestors will be blessed

there. fur future generations and descendants will be proud of what we have done. Our goal

is right there and we start from the City of New York on the concrete base. We are doing

the project of selling tickets here for the erection cf the Kingdom of God . On the way we wil

not lose the battle! When we realize that we are in the battle, are we going to lose the battle,

or glorify God? When I point out the goal, your attention, your zeal and your whole being must

be headed for that goal. We have to go through in the world. We have to swear for that goal.

Can you do that? Shall we go from now - forever!
