“The word, God uttered with a miserable and painful heart on that day was, “Adam! Where are you?” From that day on, God started walking the path to restore the blessed land. While keeping the blessed land as the future goal, God has been walking the historical path to rebuild the blessed land.”

God desired to see the earth become a blessed land, where He would dwell in it; and no evil existed. However, while pioneering a path to the blessed land, Adam fell; as a result, it turned into a day of lamentation. Ever since this world fell into a world which is the total opposite of the original world that God purposed.

Who are responsible for having lost the blessed land? They are none other than our ancestors, Adam and Eve. You must know that because they fell, we lost our blessed land.

Then, what should we do to recover the blessed land. This is the first and most important question that we must find an answer. In order to do this, we need to find out his motivation, when Adam lost the blessed land.

Adam could not keep his faith in God’s word. Thus, he could not become an agent who would carry out God’s word. Moreover, Adam could not become a subject of heart, who would embrace the entire universe standing as the central character of the blessed land, representing God. Instead, he lost God’s word of truth which would have established a new Heavenly order and law, and failed to become a subject who would have kept, followed and served the laws. Accordingly, Adam could not become the central figure of true love who could dominate the entire universe representing God. And this is the very fact of the fall.

Because of the fall of man and thus losing the blessed land, numerous people suffered and perished while pioneering the blessed land throughout the history. We cannot deny the fact that history is filled with bloody struggles, conflicts and wars.

Adam was supposed to rejoice in happiness together with God in the blessed land. He was the responsible central figure who should have appreciated all things in Heaven and earth with God, and would have dominion over the entire creation in God’s place. However, he could not become one with God who had created the world. This was the fall of man. You must understand that since the day of Adam’s fall, God has been struggling and agonizing to restore the all things that were lost.

With the heart of hope, God was supposed to have called Adam from a position of happiness after fulfilling His Will; however, He had to call him from the miserable position where God’s Will was not realized. The day when God called out “Adam, where are you?” was no longer the day when He could welcome and embrace Adam with joy. This was the day when God lost the blessed land, when God lost his character being reflected in Adam, and when the fortune of the Heaven and earth became overturned.

The word, God uttered with a miserable and painful heart on that day was, “Adam! Where are you?” From that day on, God started walking the path to restore the blessed land. While keeping the blessed land as the future goal, God has been walking the historical path to rebuild the blessed land.

On that mournful day when Adam fell, God expressed his sorrow by uttering these words “Adam! Where are you?” The utterance was His lamenting cry having lost the blessed land. Realizing his action betrayed the Heavenly law, Adam confessed his guilt to God. Seeing him, God could not help feeling sympathy and lamentation for Adam. You should understand and feel deeply about God’s sorrow and lamentation.

Therefore, God has been moving forward with great sadness restoring the blessed land since Adam’s fall. However, human beings have not able to unite with God’s call for rebuilding the blessed land which He had purposed; and failed to walk to search the path for that purpose along with God. You must understand that these failures also added more sorrow and agony to God.
