Clarifying Current Jeong Seong Conditions

Recently, new Jeong Seong conditions were introduced for all members worldwide by the World Mission Headquarters in relation to True Father’s Seonghwa. These include kyung-bae and Hoon Dok reading that were already being applied as preparation for Foundation Day. Additionally, we have been maintaining a 24-hour prayer vigil in America with a rotating schedule involving all Districts.

Rev. Cotter is now instructing that we focus our Jeong Seong on the conditions assigned for the 53-day period of our True Father’s Seonghwa, ending on October 25, 2012. These include:

1. 120 kyung-bae each day during the Jeong Seong period.

2. Hoon Dok reading of the eight great textbooks and teaching materials: at least thirty minutes each day.

3. Special financial offering of $1,200 per family (to be fulfilled as soon as possible).

4. Family or community-based prayer during the Jeon Seong period (replacing the 24-hour prayer vigil).

The first two conditions will be officially continued after the 53-day period until Foundation Day.
