Hyojeong Dedication and Special Luncheon for Moon Jeong-ah, True Parents' Great-Granddaughter

A Hyojeong Dedication Ceremony and Special Luncheon were held at the Cheon Jeong Gung Banquet Hall to celebrate Moon Jeong-ah’s 103rd day of life in this world. Moon Jeong-ah is the first child of Moon Shin-heung (Moon Hyo Jin’s 2nd son) and his wife Moon Yume.

Around 30 FFWPU leaders and heads of providential organizations attended the ceremony.

The Hyojeong Dedication Ceremony included an opening declaration by Yoon Young-ho, director- general of FFWPU International Headquarters, an offering of flowers by Moon Shin-chul (the eldest son of Moon Hyo Jin’s family) and his wife Moon Ji-woo, video screening, the Hyojeong Dedication Ceremony by Moon Shin-heung and Moon Yume’s family, cake cutting by Moon Shinheung and Moon Yume, greetings from the family of Moon Shin-heung and Moon Yume, a congratulatory song by YSP (Heart Byeong), congratulatory remarks by Chairman Song Yong-cheon of the Sunhak Educational Foundation, and a victory toast by Moon Yeon-ah nim, chair of UPF-Korea.

Then came the luncheon and Hyojeong Hwadong-hoe entertainment. The festivities concluded with three cheers of Eog mansei led by Kim Jae-hyeon, Vice-Chair of YSP International.

Below is an excerpt of True Mother’s Words for the occasion.

Today, we have all gathered to celebrate Moon Jeon-ah’s 103rd day. Every time she visits her Great-grandma, she opens her eyes, even if she is sleeping. She looks around and when I call ‘Jeong-ah,’ she responds. She even plays and exercises for a long time with her great- grandmother. Even when she gets sleepy, if I am around, she rubs her eyes and tries to stay awake. She doesn’t cry.

Sometimes she looks a little tired. So I tell her mother to take her and put her to bed. When her mother is about to take This was followed by a report prayer by Moon Shin-heung. Here is an excerpt from his prayer:

Please bless Moon Jeong-ah with good health. We pray that You will guide her to inherit True Parents’ love and to fulfill her filial path as a true child. We, her parents, will invest our whole hearts in caring for Jeong-ah, with our hearts completely harmonized with Yours. She will be

raised as the daughter of Heavenly Parent and True Parents.

May we resemble True Parents on this day! In particular, may the True Family unite completely with True Mother here on earth. In addition, may the future generations of our blessed families live in harmony. Please pour Your blessings upon this tradition of unity so that it will flourish forevermore.”

In his Letter of Gratitude Moon Shin-heung wrote:

Beloved True Mother, today, we are celebrating Jeong-ah’s 103rd day of life. We sincerely thank you for allowing us the opportunity to share this joy with so many people. You taught us everything we needed to know; how to hold her, how to play with her, even how to dress her. Mother, thank you so much for teaching us our responsibilities as parents. We will engrave this in our hearts and never forget True Parents’ love. To all our brothers and sisters, I want to say, ‘Thank you for your sincere love for True Parents. Thank you for the love that we have also receive from that foundation, upon which Jeong-ah is growing up beautifully and in good health. We sincerely thank you again.’”

Chairman Song Yong-cheon of the Sunhak Educational Foundation stated “We are confident that Ms. Moon Jeong-ah can become a great-granddaughter who can be remembered in the providential history of Heavenly Parent and True Parents throughout the world, beyond the Unification Church, and who can serve as an example for all humankind. We will become Cheon Il Guk leaders and blessed families who serve as strong fences and windbreaks to protect her so that she can grow into a person who can passing on Heaven’s blessings to people of all generations. I hope that she will grow up in good health with the precious character given by Heavenly Parent, become the joy of True Mother, and grow into a lovely young lady who is loved and respected by many people.

YSP members then presented a congratulatory song which was followed by a victory toast by Moon Yeon-ah nim, chair of UPF-Korea and the event concluded with three cheers of Eog mansei led by Kim Jae-hyeon, Vice-Chair of YSP International.
