Shin-chul Moon emphasizes unity with True Mother and Pure Water in Europe

The ‘Heavenly Top Gun Missionary Shin-chul Moon and Spouse European Tour’ was conducted for 50 days from December 9 to January 27. The tour was planned to testify about True Mother centered on True Parents’ teachings, unite with Europe’s future generation, and assess key mission fields.

Missionaries Shin-chul Moon and Ji-woo Moon, along with UPA officials, testified about True Mother in seven countries - Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, Germany, Portugal, UK, and Albania. They shared mission field status through identifying blessed singles, Heavenly Top Gun activities, and meetings with local leaders.

The missionary couple arrived at their first destination, Hungary (December 9-18, 2024), on December 11, meeting with President Gabor and former President Tibor. In Pécs, they conducted street witnessing with Heavenly Top Gun missionaries and visited holy grounds. During meetings with members, they shared Heavenly Top Gun activity reports, gave messages, and held Q and A sessions. In Budapest, the missionary couple each gave testimonies to about 40 members gathered at the Peace Embassy. They then visited the History Museum and attended UPF Ambassador for Peace meetings.

In the Czech Republic (December 18-23), they visited Mari Zibna ‘Martyrs’ Cemetery’ to commemorate early missionaries who made noble sacrifices during underground mission work. Shin-chul Moon delivered messages emphasizing the providential responsibility and role of second generation based on True Mother’s words, while Ji-woo Moon prepared praise services with young members, awakening the importance of love for True Parents.

In Romania (December 23-31), they participated in a workshop at the Peace Embassy where they conveyed the major providences guided by True Mother and their significance. They also met with former President Bong-moon Jung, heard about Romania’s missionary journey, and presented him with a plaque of appreciation.

In Germany (December 31-January 7, 2025), they held a graceful New Year’s Commemoration Service with about 100 members at the Camberg Center Workshop site on January 1. During meetings with youth and students, they reached a consensus that ‘everyone’s heart and effort are needed to create a healthy community that believes in and follows True Parents.’ Afterwards, the missionary couple visited Frankfurt holy ground and Berlin.

In Portugal (January 7-13), members warmly welcomed the missionary couple with a welcome dinner at the Peace Embassy. Missionary Shin-chul Moon had deep discussions with YSP students and UPA cadets about the importance of vertical faith, including his missionary experiences. The missionary couple then attended Sunday service where they conveyed the importance of aligned faith with True Parents and the significance of the Cheon Won Gung Cheon Il Sanctum Entry Ceremony.

In the UK (January 13-21), their first schedule began with visits to the FFWPU-UK headquarters and holy grounds, guided by Heavenly Europe Continental Director Michael Balcomb and his wife. At the welcome event held at headquarters, they received reports on major activities from young leaders of YSP, UPF, and WFWP. They held praise services with UK second generation at a two-day Future Leaders Workshop at Livingstone House, and attended Sunday service at Cleeve House.

In Albania (January 21-27), they attended a workshop at the Durres Training Center. Missionary Ji-woo Moon told the workshop participants, “I hope you will internalize and understand True Parents’ core values, form deep bonds with each other, and take time for deep reflection about faith.”

At a praise service held at the Europe and Middle East Peace Embassy, Missionary Shin-chul Moon emphasized, “Let us cherish that now is the golden age when True Mother’s words will bear fruit, share these words with the world, and realize them together,” adding, “Let us deeply root True Mother’s love, providential vision, and purpose.”

This tour by Missionary Shin-chul Moon and his wife, representing the True Family’s third generation, provided an important opportunity to awaken Heavenly Europe’s future generation to their responsibility and providential consciousness as pure water centered on True Mother, the Only Begotten Daughter.
