WFWP S. London, UK Monthly Interfaith Peace Meeting: How to grow our heart

On a busy Friday evening, fourteen women gathered together to share their thoughts and feelings.

‘A Grateful Heart a Garden is’ a poem by Ethel Wasgatt Dennis, and “Cultivating the Garden of our Heart” by Amy Sparkman were read. It was an inspiration to help to understand the way of how to grow our heart, and radiate the beauty and goodness of God.

After all, what keeps our garden growing? Good planning, good soil, good water and lots of sunlight.

Considering the similarities between: of how to care for our garden growing, and how to care for our thinking and actions, it’s really a resemblance, try to care a garden of flowers and keep them growing… and try to cultivate our thoughts and actions and keep our heart growing.

The sharing and discussion became very engaging with various discoveries. It was the most relevant aspect of the gathering.

A tasty dinner and a delicious cake prepared by two different participants made the evening very enjoyable.
