WFWP South London, UK's First Interfaith Peace Meeting of this Series

A small group of 14 people attended the ‘Interfaith Peace Meeting’ in the evening of Friday 23 Nov 2018. It was the first one of this series.

The session started with an explanation of the purpose of the meeting and later every participant introduced themselves.

We had a few songs from our new guest Cleo who is a professional singer, like ‘You raise me up’ and ‘Amazing Grace’, followed by a reading of ‘Parent-Child Relationship’ referring to the Creator and His children, and also a poem from John Schuhart ‘Precious Light’.

After that we sang together more songs from the heart, and Cleo sang, ‘Ave Maria’ from Franz Shubert, and we also had a representative prayer.

At the end, we had a cheerful time over refreshments, and are looking forward to the follow-up meetings in the New Year.
