WFWP S. London, UK held: Women's Get-Together for Friendship and Peace

WFWP S.London/UK held a ‘Women’s Get-Together for Friendship and Peace’, in Haslemere Hall/London on 8 July 2018.

The event brought ladies from the neighborhood together.

With the Friendship and Peace reading, many comments were made and experiences shared.

One of the readings was: ‘God has created us with a need for relationships. We naturally seek true friends with whom to share our love. We can generate a beautiful response by accepting love from the other person. Whatever we receive we should return to others. If all people could do that, so much tension and hatred would dissipate. To have a friend, we must first be a friend. We need to examine what the term ‘Friend’ means to us and then, convey it to the other person. We cannot expect to develop friendship without willingly extending our trust, respect, heart and love. Communication is a definite need. We long to share the things which are deep in our heart, but relationships can only be successful on the basis of giving and receiving.’

We were happy being together sharing and eating a delicious lunch.

It was a good afternoon for us all.
