Samuel and Hyanghee Read officially opened the new coffee lounge last Sunday, and now we can all enjoy some great coffees and a facility that can be tasked in various useful ways. The room was renovated and re-furnished by funds raised at our own kickstarter at fundthefuture.co.uk.
The room comes with a great wall-mounted TV, sound system and a Gaggia expresso machine and milk frother. It’s open after the service on Sundays, and usable throughout the week if you book.
Donors of £10 or more get a free slice of cake, of £20 or more a free tea/coffee for the first month, of £50 or over got a mug with their name on, and those who gave over £100 had their name put on a plaque that was embedded in the serving counter top.
The special mugs are kept in a cubhoard of their own.
