Many Faiths Represented at Marriage Blessing

A World Peace Marriage Blessing was held on Jan 23rd in the Great Hall of Bromley’s Civic Centre.

This rededication of marriage and family for world peace, with 30 couples participating, was uplifted by the beautifully decorated stage and the profound prayers and words of inspiration from eminent representatives of Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism, Islam and Judaism.

Some had travelled from Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Spain, Romania, Hungary and the Czech Republic, others from Birmingham, the West Midlands, Bristol, the South Coast and all over Greater London.

The officiators were Dr. and Mrs. Yong Cheol Song and the participants could watch the Blessing invocation given by True Parents from their October 14th Marriage Blessing ceremony in Seoul, Korea on a large screen in the hall.

Congratulatory Addresses given by from Edwin Shuker (Vice President of the World Sephardic Congress), Dr. Gabriela Rezk- Gavrilla (distinguished surgeon from Romania) and Lord Tarsem King of West Bromwich (British Parliamentarian), allowed all to feel the significance of the event and to rejoice in their recommitment to God’s love, their beloved spouse and a world of peace.
