Declaration of Faith

I was still in school when I came to believe that Divine Principle was the only path to resolving the fundamental problems of life and the universe. I felt engulfed in infinite joy and blessing that I could meet the Returning Lord who came to the Korean Peninsula. I abandoned all earthly pursuits and embarked on the journey of faith. No matter how heavy my burdens became, I always felt blessed to be living during the same era as the Messiah, the Returning Lord, the True Parent of humanity. And to receive this blessing even though I could offer so little in return. This sums up the past 53 years of my life. However, I was deeply shaken and dumbfounded by news of the Hyung Jin Moon and Yeon Ah (Lee) Moon blasphemy and vandalism committed against True Father’s messianic identity and status after his Cosmic Seonghwa. I spent the ten years since 2012 in shame and remorse with the heart of an unfilial son.

At the 10th anniversary of Father’s Seonghwa, Jinchun Kim traveled around the country, lecturing in each district. From April 19 to 20, he educated 500 leaders from around the world in Chung Pyung with blasphemous and anti-Providential rhetoric about Father. Hearing what he was teaching, I could no longer hold back or stay silent. On top of that, the presentation by Myeongdae Kim, vice president of the Retired Pastors Association, at Hwasung church on November 27 truly made us doubt what we were hearing. His words were anti-Principle and anti- Providential gibberish against Father. Kim disgraced Father using absurd logic he referred to as Heavenly secrets.

Who in the Unification family ever thought such things could happen? This tragedy calls for blood- vomiting lamentation. The real problem lies with the many leaders and senior pastors of the Family Federation. What’s even more heinous is that well-meaning members are kept in darkness away from the Family Federation’s anti-Principle and anti-Providential claims. Oh, True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humanity! You were anointed by Heaven and came to the Korean Peninsula as the savior and messiah of humanity, the Returning Lord, the Third Adam and the Tree of Life. The Christian foundation and the people in it whom God prepared for two thousand years failed to follow you due to ignorance and unfaithfulness. Because of this, you had to bear the cross alone, walk the wilderness course, and be imprisoned six times. Despite all the hardships, you kept rising again like a phoenix and ultimately laid the victorious foundation!

How could they denounce everything you accomplished? I am so sorry. I am very sorry. No words exist on earth to describe the kind of forgiveness that I must beg of you. There is not one person who could find their way back to your forgiveness if they ever tried to taint your messianic identity even once.

What would happen to the six thousand years of Restoration Providence for which God endured so many difficulties if someone could shake the identity and the status of the True Parent of Heaven, Earth, and Humanity who is the center and the core of the cosmos, the substantial God who is God’s body and the horizontal God? What would happen to Heaven and Earth? What would happen to the future of the world, the country, people, family, and individuals? There can only be darkness.

The Family Federation has been on the wrong course for too long, and they have passed the point of no return. All their attempts to justify and excuse their anti-Principle and anti-Providential actions will be in vain. Fellow family members! Wake up from your sleep and discover the path to eternal life and salvation!

This is our heart as we officially announce that we are leaving the Family Federation, the dear organization that was a part of us during our entire lives.

My wife and I place our complete faith in the “Coronation for the Realm of Liberation for God, the King of Kings” held on January 15 and 31, 2009, and in the signed proclamation declaring Hyung Jin Moon as True Parent’s heir and inheritor and all others as heretics and destroyers. We hereby proclaim we will serve the True Parent’s representative, the inheritor, the successor, the three-generation kingship, and the realm of the royal family walking the difficult wilderness course for the past ten years. We will shake off the past depressing ten years that plagued our hearts and start a new beginning filled with hope. Aju!
