Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Our beloved second-generation brother, Jacob Yoon Myung Park, of the New York KEA Church community in New Jersey, passed to the spiritual world on Friday, April 21, after a battle with cancer. Jacob has been an integral part of the KEA leadership team, and has been very involved and dedicated to his community, to his brothers and sisters, and to his own family. His wisdom and care will be forever cherished.
We send our prayers and encouragement for Jacob’s wife Soon Im Choi, his children HyungSam (Sam), HyungMan (Mike), and HyungKook (Tommy), and the rest of his family.
Let us join in support of Jacob’s family, and pray for his victorious transition to a glorious new life in the spiritual world, knowing that our True Father and many saints are waiting for him with open hearts and arms.

Jacob was born on August 14, 1969 (July 2 by the lunar calendar) in YeonCheon, GyongGi Do in Korea, to Do Hee Park and Hee Seok Kwak, a 124 Blessed Couple, as the third of five children.
In December of 1984 their family moved to Seattle, Washington, where he graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1988. A year later he enrolled in the University of Washington. During the college years, Jacob served in various capacities, as a Second Generation Workshop staff, a Boat Captain in the Ocean Challenge in Gloucester, and conducted many fundraising activities on MFT.
On August 25, 1992, Jacob was blessed with Soon Im Choi as one of the 200 Second Generation Couples’ Blessing. They have three sons together: HyungSam (Sam), HyungMan (Mike), and HyungKook (Tommy).
In 1995, he graduated from Georgia State University with Degrees in Mathematics and Computer Information Systems. In 2000 he started working at Manhattan Center as computer programmer, and in 2002 he started working on the purchase of the Greater New York KEA Church at North Haledon, NJ, which took two years to complete. In 2006 Jacob began his 11-year career as a KPMG computer programmer.
Throughout these years he has been involved in the growth and development of the KEA church in NJ. Since 2014, Jacob has been instrumental in the expansion project of the KEA Church Building, and in 2016, he became Chairman of the Board for the Greater New York KEA Church.
Jacob ascended on April 21, 2017 at 10:56 a.m. at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ. His family, friends and his entire community are praying for him and wish him a victorious transition to his new eternal life.
