In Memory of Heeseok Park (1940 - 2015)

Our beloved sister, Mrs. Heeseok Kwak Park, of Las Vegas, Nevada, ascended into the spirit world on Thursday, June 4. Mrs. Park is one of our elder sisters who met our True Parents and joined the Unification Church in 1960. With a true pioneer spirit, she and her husband pioneered new churches in Korea and in the United State. Mrs. Park is known and respected for her exemplary faith, love and obedience to Heavenly Parent and True Parents. She is survived by her husband Dohee Park, her children Mieun, Yoonsun, Yoonmyung, Jungmi, and Yoonkwon, and her 14 grandchildren.

Let us all support Mrs. Park’s family during this important time and pray for her victorious transition to a glorious new life in the spiritual world.

Our beloved sister, Mrs. Heeseok Park, ascended into the spiritual world June 4, 2015. She was born on March 26, 1940 in Gyeonggi, South Korea to JoonBok Kwak and SoonBong Park. Mrs. Park met True Parents and joined the Unification Church in February of 1960. She received the Marriage Blessing with Dohee Park in the 124 Couples’ Blessing in July of 1963. She is survived by her husband Dohee Park, and their children Mieun, Yoonsun, Yoonmyung, Jungmi, and Yoonkwon, and her 14 grandchildren. Throughout their lives together, Mrs. Park and her husband pioneered many church centers in Korea and the United States. She first arrived in the U.S. in 1984 as a missionary. She then continued to serve the True Family with moxibustion in East Garden from 1996 to 2004 and later, from 2004 to 2012, served

many others in Korea as well, until she was diagnosed with a melanoma in her eye, which had spread to her liver. In 2013, she rejoined her family in the United States for recuperating and stayed there until her ascension.

Mrs. Park was a daughter of absolute obedience and absolute love to True Parents and Heavenly Parent. She was known for her unwavering faith, reflective humility, and love for nature.

Her many accomplishments include:
