Greetings from the chair of Europe and Middle East to CIG Leaders' Assembly

Dearest True Mother, the Begotten Daughter from Heaven, and leaders of the world, I want to first express my deep thanks for organizing the online CIG Leaders Assembly.

Our region Europe and the Middle East is the birthplace of major providential religions and cultures such as Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The European and the Middle Eastern cultures are extremely influential over the world in many fields such as ideology, religion, politics, economy, culture and so forth. Therefore, it must be our mission to bring unity between Western and Eastern world and European and African people for realizing the Chon Il Guk. The growing number of Islamic and African people in Europe, I think, is a very providential phenomenon. In this regard, the idea of the Heavenly Parents Holy Community is especially necessary for our region.

We have many advantages and challenges. One great advantage is that we have many capable and well-experienced leaders such as sub-regional leaders. In spite of many difficulties and challenges, the Continental Leader Dr. Mike Balcomb has been leading the region with burning passion and has been investing internal and external resources to raise 2nd Generation. The big challenge we have had is the issue of Church development including the Chon Bo providence. We need to discover the new witnessing method adapting not only to the current situation but also a new era.

UPF and 6 associations have been actively operating for the victory of ILC and Rally of Hope. I should not forget to refer to the Balkans. This area has a high potential to restore one nation to support Korea. The Balkan peninsula in Europe is that of Korea in the providence.

Since many European nations have diplomatic relationships with North Korea, we are ready to contribute to the Korean Reunification Providence. In particular, UPF Russian has been playing an unique role in this regard.

I am thankful to True Mother for allowing us to organize the Artist Association for the World Peace in the memorable year of Beethoven’s 250 years of birth. This is the very field that Europe must take a leading role. In the symphony #9 in D minor 4 by Beethoven, people sing as follows. This is the part of the European Anthem.
