Our True Parents practice the Joy of Giving Food to Others, father said; ‘To me, giving people food is the most precious work. When I am eating and I see someone who has nothing to eat, it pains my heart and I cannot continue eating.’
On Nov. 12 Saturday morning, centering on Rev. Ken Doo Las Vegas Family Church, 18 members went to Three Square and supported them. Three Square welcomed groups from all over Las Vegas, spreading world hunger awareness. Through this experience of volunteering, I learned anyone can help make a difference. Goals can be accomplished through the power of community, gathered together to reach a common objective. Neither age, gender, or ethnicity is relevant when serving at Three Square; wanting to make a change in society was the only requirement and we were more than welcomed to embrace those who shared the same passion.
