Swedish Winter Workshop for Young Adults Aged 18+ Worldwide

Following the successful Swedish Winter Workshop last December, we are happy to announce that we are having another one and we are inviting youth and young adults aged 18+ worldwide to join in.

We want to prepare 2nd gen in their twenties to tackle issues that might occur in their life of faith. Turning 18 or older, a lot of 2nd gen have already moved out or are preparing themselves to. It can be very hard to juggle the responsibilities that living away from home comes with. Some of us have full times jobs or studies to focus on, rents to pay, valuable friendships to uphold, households to maintain, etc. With more responsibilities in our lives it becomes harder to do things that we did when we still lived at home with our parents. There is less time for HDH. We might value a sleep in on a Sunday rather than attending Sunday service. We see our 2nd gen friends less and may therefore have less interest of attending events. We can see from a pattern that a lot of our older brothers or sisters that used to maybe be our team leaders when we were younger barely ever come to church anymore. Why does this occur and how can we prevent it?

The motto for this workshop will be “The steps leading ahead”. The aim for this WS is to prepare our participants to be responsible for their own life of faith. Read more Click Here:
