Here’s the UTS graduating classes of ’84-’86 (or is it ’85-’87?) in the photo.

I’ve moved home no less than 52 times since graduation in ’86 (average of 2 times each year for 26 years) and didn’t have a permanent home nor storage space yet I’ve managed to keep that photo with me for 25 years. It’s my treasure … thank you President Kim and dear brothers and sisters for precious memories and lots of love….although I did have to overcome a broken blessing and divorce during my first year, the stress of which landed me in Rhinebeck hospital on Christmas Eve after returning from a 21 day team fundraising. I had my appendix removed that night-just in time the doctor said, and spent Christmas alone due to hazardous icy roads. But True Parents’ son Heung Jin Nim was lying in a hospital dying just down the road in Poughkeepsie (1983) so I couldn’t complain.

That’s partly why I always felt indebted to God and True Parents as a UTS grad and couldn’t say no when the National Messiah mission came up. I never wanted to be an overseas missionary (3rd world), nor my husband, and sometimes envy those in the USA leading ‘normal’ lives. But here we are with a young child still trying to get back to Nepal for this last year of 2012 and our 16th year of mission to help resurrect the nation. Over the last 16 years we raised up a young Nepalese college student to become the Unification Movement’s National Leader and he was voted into the government in 2008 after forming the Nepal Family Party. The NFP is teaching and advocating Headwing Ideology throughout the nation.

We are presently staying with friends in England (no home or job yet), and have managed to raise $2000 (with help from friends and strangers) toward our air tickets but still have visa and living costs to manage for 10 months (from August).

If you feel moved to help us get back to Nepal, we’d be grateful for any donations. (Can use our PayPal account: John Nicholls; jongin2uk@yahoo.com or contact Robin Graham). Think of it as a condition toward resurrecting a 3rd world nation through a fellow UTS grad! May God bless you all and all of your endeavors to make a world of peace and true love!
