Hoon Dok Hae Inspiration: Proposal for us to bring healing and hope to the nation

After my 5:30 am Hoon Dok Hae this morning, I was inspired to write this post. It’s a proposal to all of us to bring healing and hope for the nation.

True Mother recently shared her expectations of us for the next 7 years. However, the nation is in turmoil and the situation looks bleak. True Mother set a pattern for us in Senegal. Here is what I observed:

1. True Mother start an internal process of preparing

2. True Mother privately education key religious and political leaders

3. Ancestral Liberation had started and continued after the Summit.

4. True Mother via UPF held the African Summit bringing together the the spiritual and political leaders in Africa.

5. True Mother proclaimed True Parents and the Only Begotten Daughter and God’s will for Africa

6. True Mother went to Goree Island and give a deep, tearful prayer liberating all the African and African Descent peoples

7. True Mother gave the Holy Marriage Blessing all over Africa (and some substantial offerings)

8. Those Blessed Couples are now being educated and raised in Heavenly Parent Holy Community.

How can we follow this pattern in America in this time of Crisis? First Peace Starts with me so

1. Do Hoon Dok Hae everyday

2. Find someone or a group of people in our neighborhood and share some aspect of Principle with them

3. Do Ancestral Liberation even if its one group or liberate some public figure, friend, etc.

4. Hold a community activity (practice social distancing) centered on an issue in America (racism, inequity, human trafficking, etc)

5. Share God’s point of view via True Parents words and works and proclaim True Parents and the Only Begotten Daughter.

6. Make a true, repentant and righteous statement about the issue (forget your own bias) in a public way. This is our Goree Island moment.

7. Give the Blessing to people and report it. Donate to a local organization.

8. Educate the Blessed Couples and include them in Heaven Parent Holy Community.

This is not perfect but as Tribal Messiahs, its a start. True Mother already did most of the work for us. Based on Dr. Kim and President Dunkley’s unity with True Mother, she traversed the US with Peace Starts with me rallies. If we unite with her we could change the atmosphere in the nation. In the Chosen 21-day workshop, I remembered something. In the 70s when our members swept the streets of NYC, posted flyers and recruited people for the Madison Sq. Garden rally, after that the city changed dramatically (open prostitution reduced, muggings reduced, porn shops closed out, etc).

True Mother’s recent impact due to the launching of the World Clergy Leadership Conference in Newark is still alive and strong. Newark did not have violent protests. The mayor marched with and calmed the people. Police and civilians ended their rally with dancing.
