T until 6.45. The lecturer made a presentation for a little over an hour. One of the focus was to explain that human brain does not work at all like a computer but is very flexible and works best with permanent education and care. The discussion was quite long and we had a coffee break in the meantime. In the previous sessions, we had often hot discussions with opposite opinions, but this time everybody was very respectful of the other ones and the discussion was very constructive, inspiring the lecturer to make new points he did not mention during his lecture. The whole session was recorded on video, but sorry that there is no picture. The lecturer, Denis Chadebec, a former high-school teacher, had already been giving lectures in other scientific circles. He is often attending our club science, but this was his first time as a lecturer in club science and it was quite successful. Therefore, it will not be the last time. Our next session in November will be about the scientific revolution ot the beginning of the 20th century by a former director of an aircraft and space research institute and in December we will discuss about GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) and the lecture will be given by a second-generation biology student specialized on food.
