Thank you for your dedication and interest to strengthen families on your community. We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health and happiness this summer.

You and your guest are cordially invited to attend the 24th Annual National Parents’ Day Banquet on Thursday, August 16, 2018 to be held at The Arbor Ballroom of The Washington Times, 3600 New York Ave., N.E., Washington, D.C. 20002. Doors will open at 6:30pm with a

delicious dinner and program beginning at 7:00pm. Parking is free in The Washington Times parking lot.

The National Parents’ Day Banquet is sponsored by the National Parents Day Coalition, which includes the affiliated organizations noted below. UPF-USA is proud to serve as the project lead for 2018. Our purpose is to recognize “Parents of the Year” representing various regions, states and cities throughout America. Please join us to celebrate these outstanding parents and citizens who have given sacrificially including their time, financial and emotional resources. Most of all, Parents Day celebrates all parents who invest their love to fulfill that uniquely outstanding and God-given role as a father and mother.

National Parents’ Day became law in 1994 with bi-partisan sponsorship introduced by Congressmen Dan Burton (R-IN) and Floyd Flake (D-NY) and signed into law by President Bill Clinton establishing the fourth Sunday of July as a recurring and perennial day of commemoration. Since then, churches, places of worship and community groups across the country have held annual activities designed to celebrate and strengthen families and to honor the outstanding parents in their communities.

We look forward to seeing you at the program. Please RSVP to our online registration at us.upf,org/parentsday2018/. The cost is only $10 per person, which can be paid online or at the door.
