FFWPU Philippines Church Innovations: Ahn Shi Il and Family Peace Festivals

First of all, I would like to offer my deepest love and gratitude to our Beloved Heavenly Parent and True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind! In line with our Beloved True Mothers’ direction through the International Headquarters implementation of the four major innovations specifically centering on the Church innovation to encourage Church growth, the Philippines for several months is regularly conducting the Ahn Shi Il Family Service every Ahn Shi Il Day. From the usual Sunday services for members, we have changed it to regular Ahn Shi Il Family service every after the 8th day focusing on our core membership. It is being done at the national level but mostly via zoom/ online, especially on weekdays from 6:00 am to 7:30 am. But if it falls on a weekend, especially on Sundays, we are doing it on a hybrid setup, where there is a physical gathering at the Headquarters attended by members and blessed families nearby and participated by all other members nationwide via zoom/online. For September, an average of 373 members have joined through zoom every week, and an average of 1,110 have watched via Facebook live every week or every Ahn Shi Il Service.

Last year, on May 2021, the Philippines conducted two (2) series of Family Peace Festivals. This Family Peace Festival was a grand celebration for all members, Ambassadors for Peace, Peace Associates, and even for new invites. This festival highlighted the “Welcoming of New Members” to our Heavenly Parent’s Holy Community and was recognized by our entire community. It is a very good program that encourages members and new people to be part of our community and build a peaceful world together. Starting next month, November 2022, the Philippines will start our National Open Sunday Service specifically for new members, HTM members, and Peace associates, and for new people to rebuild a stronger church foundation, continuous development, and church growth.
