What dreams may tell - It is amazing how God can approach us through dreams

Dreams tend to exaggerate and stir up our emotions!

The following is an experience I had on dreams during my pioneering years in our church.

Dreams tend to exaggerate and come out very overwhelming, just to make us pay attention to the issues addressed in the dream.

In my pioneering years with our church, I was sent to take over the leadership of the leader of this particular pioneering center.

The leader was a friend of mine. She was leading a small group of three Japanese missionaries.

She was sick and can’t do much work, she just stays home whereas the other three missionaries worked hard day and night. The leader did not only stay home and did not work, but she was also spending most of the money, fundraised by her members for medication and doctor’s bills.

One night, this leader had a very terrifying dream. She dreamt she was cooking in the kitchen and opened the oven and was terrified by what she saw. One of her members’ was cooked, like chicken in the oven and burnt black like charcoal.

After I took over the center and had a talk with the three Japanese missionaries, one of them expressed how difficult it was for them to see their so-called “leader” sit at home doing nothing, and not only that, she was spending most of the money they raised for herself. She was crying uncontrollably as she was telling me the story.

This poor member was burnt in bitterness towards her leader.

I knew then why this leader had this terrifying dream.

It is amazing how God can approach us through dreams.
