Why was Rev. Sun Myung Moon rejected by established religions, particularly Christians?

I am just a voice in the wilderness straighten up things for the Lord.

America - a Christian country, treated Rev. Moon so badly, why? It’s obvious, it’s not because of what they say about him, it’s because of what he claimed himself to be and what he teaches, that he is the Second Coming of Christ. So, let’s get down to the basics of what he teaches. There is 5 fundamental new truth in Rev. Moon’s teachings.

1 - God is in great sorrow and pain because of the suffering of humanity. God is not in heaven, but he is in the hell of hells trying to save and comfort his lost children. God is the Parent of mankind. His unconditional love for human beings is like parents’ love for their children.

2 - Jesus didn’t come to die but to live a long life and have his own family and be the model for God’s ideal family for people to follow. The Bible said Jesus is the Son of God and second Adam. Therefore, in Jesus’ time, there should have been a daughter of God and a second Eve! Had they met, they would have married and became the True Parents of mankind.

3 - John the Baptist was a total failure, he did not fully support Jesus when he needed him the most. At a desperate time when people couldn’t believe Jesus as the messiah, because their Bible, in Malachi 4:4 - 5, gave them a sign on when the messiah would come, that Elijah must come first. But the Jews of Jesus’ days did not see any sign of Elijah and demanded that Jesus answer their question. Jesus answered and said that John the Baptist is the Elijah to come. Read Matt: 11:14 and John 1:19 - 28. John’s sin was his denial that he was Elijah, therefore he made Jesus looked like a liar. This is one of the great reasons why people couldn’t believe Jesus and believed John!

4 - Christ would not return on the cloud as Christians expecting. Christians should have learned their lesson from John’s failure and about the second coming of Elijah. Christ will be born in the flesh as he first came. And He will come from the East as the Bible says. Jerusalem, Israel is not an “eastern” country. Korea is the country in the East, the Messiah would be born.

5 - Salvation means Restoration. To restore/recreate what was fallen, what was not realized by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. It is the restoration of God’s family and the change of blood lineage from Satan to God. For this reason, the Bible calls sinful human beings as “brood of vipers and children of Satan” (In Matt, 3:7,) Therefore, the blessing of marriage offered by the True Parents, Father and Mother Moon, is the way of salvation, resurrection, and rebirth.
