Is the religion of Islam was sent by God? If so, is there a purpose and a lesson on why God created and supporting the religion of Islam, while at the same time supporting and guiding Christianity? As many faithful of the three Abrahamic religions know, the religion of Islam has now become the world’s reckoning second-largest and most powerful religion after Christianity-two seemingly opposing and conflicting religions.
Watching YouTube documentaries on the Crusades, many may think God is crewel for creating such conflicting religions which soaked the earth with the blood of the innocents. Yet in spite of the thousand years of wars and bloodshed, until now, no religion has claimed Jerusalem as theirs. and that Jerusalem remained neutral. So what is the answer to this fundamental question? The answer is given by God in the Divine Principle,( in chapter 2, Moses and Jesus in the providence of Restoration/ Jacob course), the teachings of the Reverend Sun Myung Moon, whom I believe is the Messiah/ Second Coming of Christ.
In short, due to the failure of the chosen people of Israel for not believing in Jesus and pushed for his death on the cross, God’s victorious foundation that was accomplished by the sacrifices and unity of Jacob and Esau was totally lost. God had no choice but to start anew again. God created Christianity and Islam to reenact the course of Jacob and Esau on a worldly level, represented by these two mighty religions. Christians and Muslim’s conflict, war, and hatred will never end without understanding this fundamental truth. Oh! you might ask, what happen to the Judaic religion?
Where does it stand? The Judaic religion stands as the parent to Islam and Christianity. it represents Abraham. as you might know, Abraham failed in his first offering ( didn’t cut the dove and pigeon in half as he was instructed by God) this act caused Satan to invade the offering. Although later Abraham proved himself worthy by willingly offering his only son Isaac as a burnt offering, God nevertheless passed the providence to Isaac’s family. And so it is with Israel, God moved his providence from Judaism to be fulfilled through Jesus and the two religions of Christianity and Islam centered on the Messiah/True Parents. the Reverend and Mrs. Hak Ja Han Moon.
