I had a dream: God's interest in me, among others.

I so greatly cherished the time God had spent raising me up and filling my life with unforgettable, uplifting spiritual experiences and encounters with His Holy presence, in a way God never spent time with anyone else. It wasn’t until much later I learned that I was only one among millions.

Three days ago, I missed Morning Devotion at 6 am and I was disappointed with myself by that. About 7:30 am after I watched the Morning Devotion Video, I took a nap and I had this dream…This dream is almost like the Bible parable of the sower in Matthew 13:1-23.

I dreamt someone, a leader-owner, asked me to tell a person who is a responsible person, (farmer I suppose) to plant a one specific seed, only one plant, not many. Only to find out later, the person in charge planted many of same seed. Plants looked like Corn plants, all stood in a square in rows, tall, healthy, green and looking good. when I looked at the square shaped small corn field, it felt like I am watching Morning Devotion Zoom meeting with all the images of brothers and sister who are attending Morning Devotion. Although the plants looked all healthy and beautiful, the owner was not happy. He only want to see the only one plant to show an example of its uniqueness.

I thought, prayed and wondered about what this dream meant for three days and I believe God answered me today.

Now. you must remember, I went to have a nap while I was upset with myself for not been able to attend Morning Devotion at 6.am. Attending Morning Devotion with my brothers and sister is very important to me. But on the other hand I was not good on my own. I did not do morning devotion by myself. I did not have deep prayers nor did Hon Dok Hey regularly. From what I felt God was telling me in this dream is this, it’s okay being in a group with Dr. Yong Morning Devotion, but I need to develop my own morning devotion with God and have deep prayer and feel God’s presence and God’s love. I need to be a filial son and an example God can be pleased with. God is interested in me personally, and so in you! Have a blessed day!
