Conversion experience: How a Muslim converted to the Unification church

The most fervent and defining moment of my life!

How a Muslim converted to the Unification church.

After God miraculously handed me in the hands of unification church missionaries through powerful dream, and was lead to attend many simultaneous workshops. On my 40-day workshop’s last day, I was asked whether I wanted to accept the teachings of the Rev. Moon and join the movement. I was a little hesitant at first, and wasn’t sure what to do. I needed some help, or perhaps, a nudge. John and I talked for a while, and he stood with me outside the house while I thought about what my decision would be. Then Jacinta came in (John and Jacinta are both claiming me as their spiritual son). She said: “Ali, we are not here to push or force you to join our movement. You are old enough to make your decision. There is nothing hidden about our movement. You have spent more than a month with us learning about our teachings. We have done all we could to help you and if this is not enough, go there [the forest] and pray and ask God for help to tell you what to do.” She physically, but gently, pushed me towards the forest. I made the cheap comment: “Oh, yes, God is going to tell me what to do. Just like that? If God can do that, why couldn’t He end mankind’s suffering?” I knew that I was crossing a line with God. Anyway, Jacinta insisted and she was not going back inside the house until I spoke with God. She stood there and watched as I walked hesitantly towards the deep wooded hills.

I walked for approximately a half mile until I found a deep ravine nestled between two hills. When I felt I was ready, I stood in the direction of the Sun and began thinking of the right words to say to God. I closed my eyes, and, muttering like a little boy, I said: “Heavenly Father, I am sorry to call you Father. My religion (Islam) forbids me to call you father. But, I would love to be your son. I would love to call you father, but I am not worthy. I love this group. I have learned so much about you through their teachings, but there is so much controversy surrounding them.”

Suddenly, a message came down from the sky as fast as the speed of light! The words were written on my forehead and spoken simultaneously: “Son! Why are you so troubled? If you are sincerely doing it for me [joining the group], wouldn’t I be with you? Wouldn’t I save you even if you are in the most dangerous group?” The message was so powerful and clear that I immediately fell to my knees, bowed, prayed, cried, and talked to God as the real True Father. I know no words to describe that moment. I cried for hours. Approximately 10 minutes after receiving the conversion experience, and while I was still in the meditative spirit, I received a very revealing vision, described below:

As I looked up to the sky, lo and behold, it turned into a huge round building like a football stadium with gates on both ends. People were rushing into it. There were people who didn’t want to go in, but were being dragged in by others. Others wanted to go in, but were being held back forcefully and not allowed to enter.”

It was truly amazing! God does speak to His people and answers their prayers! He answers not only Christians, but Muslims as well! The Abrahamic religions need not fear God’s new truth taught by the Unification church. They need to pray and ask God for help. And Muslims need to understand that God is our Heavenly Father. After my conversion experience, I ran back to the center, my face all puffy and red from crying. I demanded to sign the membership papers immediately. Jacinta, John and about five other members were shocked. Curious to know what had happened, they gathered around me and listened as I shared my conversion experience with them. Unfortunately, the group had run out of membership forms and I would have to wait a few days for them to arrive from the headquarters. And it was there where I officially became a full-time member of the church.
