UK Cranes Club Dinner for both 1st and 2nd Generation Unificationists

Both 1st and 2nd Generation Unificationists joined together for an evening of valuable talks, discussions and comradery.
The gathering was opened by Veronica Dostilio who introduced Cranes Club. She explained how Cranes Club was initiated by Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon in order to give a platform for young Unificationists to focus on professional development.
Discussion groups The first talk was given by Terry Sweeney who spoke on the importance of financial stability and he gave personal anecdotes on his experiences as a landlord. This was followed with a talk by Ceri Jones who spoke on the topic of “Student-hood To Financial Independence”. She shared about her experiences as a Financial Advisor and gave practical advice on financial management.
The attendees then spilt into discussion/networking groups based on different professional interests. A pasta dinner followed the networking groups which allowed attendees to continue their discussions.
After dinner, Simon Rosselli spoke on the topic of “Employed VS. Self-employed”. He explained the pros and cons being employed Matthew’s talk (and self-employed) and shared how he found success in becoming his own boss. He also shared about his personal experience performing for True Parents.
For the final talk of the evening, Matthew Huish, UK National Director, talked about the value of reading. He provided insightful advice on how to get into the useful habit and shared how reading helped him in his personal life.
The evening concluded with Ceri Jones thanking attendees for making the effort to come and encouraged attendees to make the effort to keep in touch and collaborate with one another.
Following the event, Ceri Jones said: “Thank you so much to everyone who attended, you all made the event such an inspiring day. It made me even more excited hearing about all of your lives and goals. We really have such an incredible bunch of people in our community. And I for one am so excited at what the future could hold if we continue to get together, collaborate and share our experiences.”
