Cranes Club Europe Call for Projects!

Is there a project you’ve been thinking about realising within your field of expertise?
Do you feel there is a skill you can contribute to your community or wider society, together with other like-minded people?
One of the objectives of the Cranes Club is to support the creation of grassroots level initiatives that will serve our community and the greater society. As part of this years Cranes Club Annual Meeting, we will be introducing Project Incubators – a dedicated time within the schedule to help motivated individuals to publicise an existing project, develop a new project on a specific theme, and form working groups with other like-minded professionals within the Cranes Club network, creating specific outcomes and action plans.
Project ideas could be anything in any field; though they should be specific enough to provide a basic framework for discussions during the Project Incubator sessions. (You can check the draft schedule, sent out recently, to see some already confirmed projects)
We are inviting participants to submit a brief project proposal (see below) that will be publicised to participants during the event. You will then be allocated a time slot in the schedule (Saturday 1st April afternoon) in which you will be able to lead your project incubator and start working towards improving your community.
The Cranes Club coordinating team is on hand to provide some support to help you plan your session if needed.
The deadline for project proposals will be Friday March 24th 2017.
If you have a project and would like to host an incubator session, please email us the following details at: cranesclubeurope@ gmail, com
1. Background
Please provide a brief bio that highlights your background, interest and expertise relevant to your proposed project – this will be printed in publications.
2. Identify the issue you wish to address in your community/society
Please provide a clear description of the issue you wish to address in your project – a more detailed outline of your issue will help to focus your project and attract potential collaborators.
3. Proposed project
Provide a brief summary of your proposed project or initial idea. To the best of your ability, outline your:
main aims (what do you intend on achieving?) methods/program of events (what will the project be?) collaborator profile (what kind of person could contribute to the project?) evaluation and follow-up (how will you measure the impact of your project and sustain the outcomes?)
Thank you for your ideas and dont forget to register for the conference! See you there!
