Father's Legacy Journey

In 2014 I will embark on an amazing epic journey. As many of you know my family always seems to do things in a big way and it looks like 2014 will be one of our biggest adventures.

Over the last few months I have been doing much soul searching as many of us has. Our movement, over the last few years, has often looked like one of those Korean dramas we love to watch. In the process of all the drama my faith as tested. I often found it hard to focus on the bigger picture, on what my faith was based on. I lost sight of the power of the Principle and how the Blessing has changed my life.

I often asked God “what do you need me to do for you?”, “how can I repay you for the many blessing you have given me?”. In the past He sometimes made it clear what He wanted me to do and most of the time it was something I did not want to do. He’s like that you know. This time when I asked He responded “What do you think I need” and What do you think True Parents need?” This, quite frankly, confused me. I thought how can I know? I am a follower, a soldier.

I prayed a lot and reflected on my life and my experiences as a missionary and as a pastor. I started to remember my life when I first heard the Principle, how the truth changed me and made me a completely new person, a better person. I thought about all the other people I know who were also changed by the Principle. I thought about my Blessing, my amazing family and how Blessed Families are building Gods lineage all over the world. These things took my breath away. True Parents did this. Father discovered a truth that has the power to free people from Satan’s grasp and True Parents were able to open a path for humanity to change their blood lineage from Satan’s to Gods through the Blessing.

This is Fathers Legacy.

Now I know what I will do to help and with my family we will make a way for this to become a reality. I will travel to all 43 nations in the 2020 Vision Project and record testimonies from friends, members and Blessed Families. Testimonies about how the Principle changed their lives and what the Blessing means to them. From all the testimonies and experiences we will make a documentary about Fathers legacy and how True Parents have panted seeds around the world. Seeds that are continuing to make positive, sustainable changes while building One Family Under God.

This journey is much bigger than just one family’s quest and we want to invite everyone to be a part of the adventure. We will be raising funds, developing a web site, blogs and brainstorming with many to discover how we can make the best offering to heaven. An offering that can inspire the world, encourage the next generation and bring a focus on what the most beautiful and powerful things are that our movement can share.
