Prague, Czech Republic — “European Values in the Time of the COVID-19 Pandemic” was the topic of a UPF “Peace Talk.”
Organized jointly by UPF of the Czech Republic and UPF of Central Europe, the June 15, 2020, online discussion attracted more than 150 registered guests from 20 nations in Europe, Africa, South America and North America.
Dr. Juraj Lajda, president of the Czech chapter of UPF, served as the panel moderator. In introducing the event, he explained its main topics: European values; religious freedom and freedom of the press; and family values. He said that for each of the topics there would be two panelists.

The presentations were followed by a question-and-answer session moderated by Chantal Komagata, Central Europe UPF coordinator and secretary general of UPF-Switzerland.
In conclusion, Dr. Lajda thanked the speakers and all the participants for the productive webinar.
