In January 2014 a team of young students from Sun Moon University (SMU) was sent to Europe to visit some countries and promote Korea and SMU. A part of the project was the idea that the students from Korea can also taste something of the European culture and atmospehere and visit countries outside Korea. Five students came to Prague (3 Koreans, one from Malaysia and one from Czech Republic) and introduced their project in several events. They spoke in the Czech-Korean Society, had a presentation at one of the Prague High schools, and at the University of Economics. They also could meet the vice-president of the SMU in Czech Republic and representative of the Korean embassy in Prague. UPF in Czech Republic used this opportunity and togehter with the W-CARP organized a public lecture on topic „Education in Korea“ where the SMU students could speak. The students prepared a very interesting presentation on Korea and SMU. First they introduced shortly the history of Korea with the Tangun story, explained the Hangul alphabet, spoke about the food and traditions in Korea. Then they spoke about the SMU. SMU has 7 colleges and 56 majors where the students can study. It is an international university with students from 156 countries. The Korean Language Institute (KLI) which is a part of SMU is considered as one of the best in Korea. The SMU has a global vision how to bring peace to the world. A video presentation could give a good and vivid picture of the life in the SMU. In the end the students from Korea sang the Arirang song. After the presentation there was a good discussion which created a family atmosphere. Many questions were answered, especially concerning the possibilities to study there. The audience consisted mostly of the students and young people. Most of them came from Facebook network. Before the end the CARP representative introduced the programme and activities of this organization. The people were invited to participate in other events and activities organized by UPF or CARP. Some 30 people participated in the lecture. J. Lajda
