Sae Hae Bok Mani Padusayo

Good morning. Today is the first day of the Lunar New Year, the year of the pig. This morning we offered our first bow to Heavenly Father and True Parents. We are the staff for the upcoming conference and have no time to go anywhere or celebrate in a traditional way. Koreans, on the other hand are mostly at home with their families offering their first bow or “Sae bae” to their parents and elders – we, the children of our True Parents, have offered our first bow to them. This year is particularly special because True Parents have established Heavenly Father’s house here on earth. That house was opened on June 13 and now children can come to this house and offer their first bow to the Parents of Heaven and Earth, the physical representation of Heavenly Father on earth. What an exceptional reality. When True Father began his ministry the world was pitch black, dark as night with no space for Heavenly Father to stand. Step by step, through torturous paths, our True Parents pioneered the space where God could stand, the foundation where good people could gather and be protected from Satan. That small space expanded over the years to become a garden, a farm, a village, a clan, and now a nation; the nation of Cheon Il Guk. On that space True Father put a Palace, a home for God, our Heavenly Father and now this morning, children from all over the earth can come to that safe place and honor their True Parents and the living God. Can you imagine how happy and excited Heavenly Father must be, how he must have stayed up all night waiting for them to come? And now, upon bowing, His heart must have been melted and tears of joy streamed from His eyes…

“Oh my child come home again, how I have waited for you to come home, though the whip has stung your back, in the tender hands of God, all your suffering path can be lightened and the Lord will ease your pain, come and rest within the heart of God, oh my children quickly come home.”
