The Master Key

THE MASTER KEY Rarely in life does one receive such trust and respect that someone would just hand over the keys and say, “Its yours!” You see this in movies and on TV, but in real life one needs to work their fingers to the bone to get ownership over anything, large or small. Remember when you were young and when you got money from your parents? Remember how precious each quarter or dollar was? You would count them over and over and hide them in a safe place. Later on in life when you could generate your own money through doing odd jobs and working, you started to realize how much things cost and how hard it was to make your way in the world. Some of us went into debt trying to cope with that reality. Some were successful and made money, but no one was simply born into it, except perhaps for those few, who by right of inheritance, have been placed in the position to receive great wealth. We all had to work hard to make ends meet and claim ownership.

Here, in this place of Cheong Pyeong, we have stepped into our True Parents’ world. We have been placed in the position to receive our True Parents’ inheritance. Just like a child who would not receive a bank account or access to their inheritance at a young age, until now we could not have access to such rich and plentiful bounty as we have experienced here. Stepping into this world of inheritance, what do we find? We find everything we could ever dream of; a housing facility, a conference center, a graduate school, a seminary, a hospital, and of course the training center for heaven and earth. And how do we come here? As “guests”? As “members?” As “visitors”, or “tourists?” No, we come here as primarily children of our True Parents who have a right to all of these great things. Yet we cannot simply do as we please with such blessing. We have a right to these things only in the realm of the public good and for the sake of others. Thus in the conference services department we have received total access to this facility and we have been placed in the position to dominate everything here. We have been trusted and respected as the ones who can control this place and these materials, and have been given the Master Key.
