General Sunday Service - God’s Hope for Europe - Chamarande, France

General Sunday Service “God’s Hope for Europe” Chamarande, France, 18. May 2014 We had our monthly internal service in our training center. As usual, our musical group got the service going with everyone up and singing. We then had two testimonies: one of Brigitte WADA about the MEPI (3 participants from France) and Alexandre HUARD (UPF-Youth Leaders) about a meeting in Strasbourg. Laurent LADOUCE then spoke on the theme: “God’s Hope for Europe”. The purpose of this service was to prepare the 50th Anniversary of the Unification Movement in Europe, to prepare for the coming of the CIG Emissaries and to prepare the European Elections this coming Sunday. Laurent reminded us the history of the pioneers of European mission: Peter KOCH and Paul WERNER. He explained us why God “so loved Europe” during the providential history, based on several quotes from the Divine Principle and Cheon Seong Gyeong. He reminded us also how much True Parents invested in Europe. To prepare for the European Elections, he proposed us: To pray - To study (specially Cheon Seong Gyeong, book 12) - To act (to witness).
