UPF USA Pacific West: Invitation to our How Peace Starts with Me conference

The Universal Peace Federation (UPF) of the Pacific West Region is honored to extend to you an invitation to our upcoming conference “How Peace Starts with Me” on Thursday, June 25, from 7:00-8:15PM PST.

UPF International Chairman, Dr. Thomas Walsh, stated our mission succinctly, “we strive to build a world of lasting peace, a world wherein all people live together in harmony and cooperation, as one family under God.”

The first conference revisited the World Summit 2020 in Seoul, South Korea, and the global work to build a peaceful world of interdependence, mutual prosperity, and universal values.

Please join us as a bridge-builder of peace as we come together for our second conference to facilitate dialogue and cooperation during this challenging time. Ms. Kim Evans, President and Founder, Your Wings, will moderate our distinguished panel:

• Venerable Dr. Chao Chu, President, Los Angeles Buddhist Union and Center for Buddhist Development, and Founder, Bosath Children’s Education Foundation • Dr. Frank Kaufman, President, Twelve Gates Foundation • Dr. Linda Nishikawa, Director, Women’s Federation for World Peace- Western Region • Pastor Joel Barnaby, Senior Pastor, Greater Church of Philadelphia, and CEO, Cross Connection Family Services • Bishop Grover Durham, Immeasurable Favor Believer’s Ministry, and Founder of Good Citizen Deeds Foundation.

The panel will be followed by a twenty-minute breakout dialogue session for sharing your insights with other like-minded leaders. This dynamic interaction will contribute to better serving our local community, states, our nation and the world.
