UPF USA Western Region's Retrospective on the 2020 World Summit webinar

The Universal Peace Federation (UPF) of the Western Region is honored to extend to you a special invitation to the launch of our online conference series, starting with the “Retrospective on the 2020 World Summit”. On Wednesday May 27 from 7:00-8:15PM PST, we will be hosting a Zoom conference to discuss important core values covered in the recent UPF World Summit for Peace held February 2-7 in South Korea.

The World Summit 2020 was part of UPF’s longstanding and ongoing efforts to bring together leaders from all over the world, whose individual and collective experience, wisdom and insight are needed to build a world of mutual understanding, sustainable peace, and prosperity. The World Summit addresses issues of peace, security and development from national, regional and global perspectives. At the 2020 World Summit three key values were focused on— interdependence, mutual prosperity, and universal values.

The main program will be hosted by Dr. Susan Taffer, Founder and CEO of the World Connections Foundation and our distinguished panelists include Dr. Michael Jenkins, UPF-USA President. Congressman John Doolittle, (R-CA) (1991-2001, and Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez, (D-CA) (1997-2017) invited.

The panelists will share about how their experience at the World Summit has impacted their role as leaders, and how we can move our society and world towards sustainable peace in the next three years.

The main program will be followed by a breakout dialogue session for sharing your insights with others. This dynamic conference will contribute to better serving our local communities, states, nation and the world.
