4) Financial Report prepared and presented by Mas Kubo: See report for detail -Seattle Church continues to operate at a loss, even after severance pay has ended. This is due in part to weak tithing and less rent donations than expected.

5) Building committee: No meeting and no new news this month

6) Pastor’s Report: -Internal Circumstances: to be successful, it is important to bring the spirit of God to our church. Many members are unsure of the foundation of our church, where it is going, being impacted by higher level leadership struggles. We address these issues by bringing back a strong spirit of God; we need to model this in our council. -Sticky teams: Read excerpt from “Sticky Teams” books (provided to all council members). Encouraged all to read chapter 1. -Suggests having a meeting where we just share and pray. -External Circumstances: Pastor Roberts is teaching 5-6 guests. Youth ministries: focus in on Camp Tongil and T2. Sunday School: Mike Lancey provided documents listing volunteers, suggested Sunday School curriculum for each class and each week.

7) Old Business: Nothing additional

8) New Business: a) National Council: David Burgess reports that last year’s focus was recreating the National Charter for Council. Key points from this year: -Whistle blower (judicial council to handle perceived malfeasance) -Recommendations committee: Field recommendations for church change. -Financial committee -Amendment: so national council members can represent our church members better -Mr. Roberts questions whether his proposal that the national council be representative of the church members has been considered. David Burgess believes that it is on the agenda for future discussion. b) Holy ground tour: National headquarters and True Mother requesting an event with media and local politicians. Considering whether to rent a small building or use Windermere property. The tour group will be there 4-8 pm. Dinner to be provided. c) Windermere property was discussed d) Closed session
