2) Member comments: Brian Granstrom: Will continue working on AV proposal Mike Lancey: Do we have a formal witnessing program? David Roberts answered that it is a semi-formal small group with 5-6 people hearing the DP Mike Faris reiterated formal process to bring up member comments (email council secretary)

3) Approval of Minutes – approved

4) Financial Report Mas Kubo: provided council members with updated financial report. Please see this report for details. Discussion of how to improve tithing: Pastor Roberts will give tithing sermon; can automatically send a donation through your bank; pros and cons of having a paypal account; pledge form Discussion of impact of severance pay on the budget this quarter

5) Building committee Report They are working on getting a volunteer committee together

6) Pastor’s Report (Pastor David Roberts) Pews: one company looked at pews, working on getting competing bids Plan to encourage donation from community for a block of chairs (style: hotel chairs) Replace carpet with laminate/hard floor Clean up day to come Main pastor focus at the moment: meet with families

7) Old Business a) 3 month review of pastor: discussed at closed session. Review planned in April with Mike Faris, Eunha Holdus, Miwa Aparo b) Youth/Assistant Pastor: Miwa Aparo will speak with Jatoma and Camia Gavin to determine if they may still have interest in this position

8) New Business a) Saturday program for jr high/high school students? We need a coordinator to keep this program going (it has in the past years been started then fizzled out without a clear coordinator) Towa does a small program for H.S. aged girls 1x/month at her home Brian Granstrom: would be willing to host a Jr. Band May need to make interest based activities that these teens are invited to Michael Lancey volunteered to coordinate the Sunday school for elementary age students and younger
