Meeting Minutes of the District 10 Council on October 22, 2013

Date/Time of Meeting: October 22, 2013 at 8:30 pm Location of Meeting: Conference call Council Members Present: David Wolfenberger, Towa Lee, Mike Faris, Richard Stumpf, David Burgess, Jai Na Fiala, Eric Sylte, Larry Krishnek, Sarah Nishioka. Council Members Absent: Mike Lancey

Agenda Item #1: Appreciation Ceremony for Rev. Krishnek Discussion: Discussed about the possibility to rent a venue for the event however the price for renting is very high. The council would rather spend more money on quality food for the event. Towa Lee will look into possibilities to go to a local park and have a picnic there. Otherwise the event will be held at Ballard Church. The budget for a gift is $500. Should purchase something such as a watch. Action: Towa will pass on the information to pastor Wiesinger and Mira and proceed on planning for the event.

Agenda Item #2: Report from David Burgess about the National Council. Method: David B. reports that the council should focus on electing the local pastor. There are still going to be 12 districts. The council would need to elect a District leader which the main role is to communicate with HQ. Further discussion needed.

Agenda Item #3: Seattle pastor Method: Discussed the 2 candidates: David Roberts and Ajay Rai from London. The council voted to have a Skype meeting with Ajay to get more information.

Action #1: David B. will arrange a skype call with AJ and some members from the council (David B., Larry K.,Towa L.,David W.) and Miwa Krishnek.
