Meeting Minutes of the District 10 Council for June 3, 2013

Date/Time of Meeting: June 3, 2013 at 9:00 pm Location of Meeting: Conference call Council Members Present: David Wolfenberger, Mike Faris, Richard Stumpf, David Burgess, Mike Lancey, Jai Na Fiala, Eric Sylte, Larry Krishnek, Sarah Nishioka. Council Members Absent: Towa Lee

Agenda Item #1: Seattle council Method: Discussed the need of a local Seattle council Discussion: Create a Seattle council to support Pastor Mira with some decision making authority, and to empower the community. Some said it was better to find the new leader and then create the Seattle Council afterward. Some said there might be mismanagement of funds or assets on the local level. Some said it would not allow the District Council to finish what it started. Some said that it would cause the District Council to be dissolved. Some said we should not create one, that it should be done on the local level by local members and the local Pastor. Action: Voting 2- for; rest - against--- Not approved

Agenda Item #2: Encourage Pastor Mira to create an advisory team. Discussion: the need for a team to support pastor Mira. Action: The vote was all in favor, unanimously approved. Rev. Krishnek will be talking to pastor Mira and start the process.
