He is editor-in-chief and project leader of New World Enq’Clopedia, founder of the Values in Knowledge roundation, director of the Inter- Religious Federation for World Pt>ace (IRFV11P), and was editor· in· chief of 1he scholarl y journal Dialogue and Alliance, raising it 10 receive awards from the American Theological Library As~dation (ATLA), Dr. Kaufmann has worked in religion and conflict resolution for 40 years, at times In physical danger in violent environments. His missions ha\’e taken him to :ueas of conflict, including Israel, Palestine, Croatia, the Eritrea- Ethiopia border, Ind ia, Kashmir, re\•olutionary centers in the Philippines, the Arabian Gulf, and Sri Lanka. Dr. Frank He teaches World Religions, Church History, Religion and Conflict Resolution, and other courses in 1he New York area and intcrna1ionally, Kaufmann and enjoys a vigorous public speaking schedule on peace and conflict Keyno t e Speaker resolution. He recently has been commissioned to lead a consortium on values in science, with special emphasis on environment issues.
