Viggo Jørgensen, the Norwegian national leader from 1975 to 1994, passed away peacefully on the 16th February after being sick for a long time.
His Seunghwa was on the 24th February. The national leader Steinar Murud, led the Ceremony and spoke about Viggo’s life and wished him well in his final journey to his eternal home.
Knut Holdhus offered a prayer and sent his best wishes to Viggo as he was about to meet his wife Ingrid who passed away 12 years ago.
Two tributes were shared in the chapel. One from his son Jørg, who spoke about his personal relationship with his father. And one from our brother Alf Mønnesland who spoke about his relationship with his “older brother” Viggo.
Torhild Nigar sang beautifully and created a solemn atmosphere during the ceremony. Tributes from our European president and others who knew Viggo were also shared with his children.
